521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGOX Launch . . . postponed on: June 24, 2011, 02:59:40 AM

LOL comparing a starcraft 2 release with a guy seizing funds of 60,000 people and holding them against our will... this business is so gone it may as well not bother re-opening.

I picture Cartman playing WoW with his mom catching all the diarrhea in his "potty bowl" when people bring up things like Starcraft.
522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mtgox delays 24 more hours on: June 24, 2011, 02:57:44 AM

You can always jump over to tradehill, I think they have double the workers.  I mean if you're comfortable giving your money to four strangers hiding behind a proxy.....

Man all these exchanges are such big jokes.

Nah, I mine Smiley  I think I bought something like 30 bitcoins over the last month.  I don't need to sell them.  Or buy them.  I'm just going to wait until I get paid, send some money over to Dwolla, and wait for the carnage and buy them up on the cheap.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ClearCoin Closing on: June 24, 2011, 02:56:13 AM
No but you surely outshine them all. I christen you SuperTroll!

I appreciate that, but I don't think I've been here long enough to earn this award.  I'd say I'm the #5 troll, at best.  You're at least #3.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGOX Launch . . . postponed on: June 24, 2011, 02:55:01 AM
Do you know what happens when they said the equivalent of TBA. It became a flame fest for them to update every hour. Now if your going to bug them to give you update all they damn time it's very hard to make accurate estimates. Fuck seriously 24 hours? People waited like 13 years for Starcraft 2 through numbers of delays.

I refuse to respond in detail until I see a screenshot of a highschool diploma.  Have you EVER opened an English book, in your life?

BuGOXxee'd!!!
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox and void trades: Force Majeure on: June 24, 2011, 02:51:05 AM
Force Majeure does not Cover gross incompetence such as failing to correctly store data or information. The only time you could reasonably claim force majeure with respect to website operations would be if the server farm caught fire or there was a power failure for an extended period of time.

Not true... you could reasonably claim force majeure if you had schizophrenia, or extreme mental retardation.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mtgox delays 24 more hours on: June 24, 2011, 02:49:22 AM
Amateurs. How is that they only realized this NOW 20 minutes before launch.

It's the right call, I'll give them that, but to push to the very edge like this . . . these guys have neither discipline nor a fair take on that thing we call reality.

Yeah, 2 guys should be PLENTY to manually activate 60,000 accounts in 2 days lol.
528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGOX Launch . . . postponed on: June 24, 2011, 02:47:54 AM
I still don't understand with the financial resources they have, they insist on running it like amateurs.  I think Tux needs to cash out his coins and just let a professional run it for him.
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Ready??!! Final Hour Count Down to MtGox Grand Re-Opening... on: June 24, 2011, 02:46:43 AM
Ye of little faith

Told you so.
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Ready??!! Final Hour Count Down to MtGox Grand Re-Opening... on: June 24, 2011, 02:17:06 AM
Where is the email?

I have no idea!  I mean, it's shocking to me personally, as thus far they have been so forthcoming and communicative!
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Ready??!! Final Hour Count Down to MtGox Grand Re-Opening... on: June 24, 2011, 02:13:25 AM
Ye of little faith

I have faith in patterns that repeat themselves repeatedly.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ClearCoin Closing on: June 24, 2011, 02:10:55 AM

He's not serious of course. He's just being an asshole troll as usual.

What, you thought you had a monopoly on that?
533  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: [WTB] Bitcoin related Website Logo - 1-2 BTC for final design on: June 24, 2011, 02:05:27 AM
so you want someone to make a logo for a company that doesn't exist and then if you like that logo you'll hire them for $15-$30 to design another logo for the real company?

First $15-$30 for a logo similar in quality to what you've posted is offensive, expect to pay $100-$500 for a quality logo.

Second, why not just ask for examples of post work and choose someone with a portfolio you like, instead of wasting their time on a make believe logo.

Fair enough.  Kman, let's see your portfolio.

Can we bet on whether or not it goes down due to traffic?

What do you mean goes down?  It's not even up yet.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Ready??!! Final Hour Count Down to MtGox Grand Re-Opening... on: June 24, 2011, 02:01:26 AM
I'm hoping BTC value hits the toilet so I can buy buy buy
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MTGOX opening on: June 24, 2011, 02:00:52 AM
I propose a new site named Mt Cox, where you basically climb to the top of the mountain, and push the summit of Mt. Cox right into your butthole, and then tell people you're not pushing a Mountain of Cox into their butthole.
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price is too high at 20$/BTC on: June 24, 2011, 01:59:24 AM

1.

2.6 million coins a year are mined until 2013, 1.3 million coins a year after that.
at 20$/BTC, that's equivalent to more than 50 million dollars in one year, or approx. 170 million dollars within 5 years, that have to flow into the system to sustain this price.

I can use quoting too Smiley

Make sure your next post is about your account getting hacked.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGox won't "indulge" us with an answer to conflict of interest. on: June 24, 2011, 01:56:56 AM
The market will decide.

If enough traders pull their funds and don't use them, they die. If they stay, they live. It's pretty simple.

sense++;
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price is too high at 20$/BTC on: June 24, 2011, 01:54:35 AM
$20 *IS* too high... especially when they're only $16/BTC at TradeHill Wink

Let's see... generating 2.5 million coins a year for 3 years... then 1.25 million coins a year after that.  Yeah, good math chief Smiley  And you posted sooooo many lines in that OP!
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ClearCoin Closing on: June 24, 2011, 01:43:30 AM
Is there nobody who would consider taking the mantle sort of speak? Also I'm curious do you have a certain sell price for the site?

I'll give you 25,000 BTC for it!!!
