1141  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a mining contract on: August 17, 2011, 11:44:28 AM
item no5 is purely optional,it simply highlights possibilities of scaling up power if possible.Since this simply isn't possible to scale it up,that item can be ignored then.I saw a guy offering 7GH/s.Get him on the case.

Low priced.I've noticed that where I am,costs are much higher for hardware and energy use so a mining contract looks good in comparison.

1142  Economy / Services / Looking for a mining contract on: August 17, 2011, 09:12:41 AM
Hi,
I'm looking for a mining contract that can give me the following:
1.More than 7GH/s power
2.Be low priced (as much as possible and must open to negotiation by the merchant)
3.No lock in whatsoever (as this is frowned upon for my specific needs, however I'm open to negotiation on that)
4.Be willing to take Payment with MoneyBookers or other payments like that without a fuss/excuse.
5.Must be open to giving me much more power if I need it (e.g like up from 8GH/s to 100GH/s for 1 day)
6.Must provide good service and be reputable.

1143  Economy / Services / Re: Anyone interested in 7 GH/s? on: August 17, 2011, 09:02:12 AM
Ok I'm willing to pay $550 for this. Can you accept MoneyBookers?as that's what I'm on.I wish to show an interest in uying this service now.Can you get back to me via PM or here plz?

EDIT:I need your services for this:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=37677.new#new as I'm currently looking around
1144  Economy / Services / Re: Anyone interested in 7 GH/s? on: August 16, 2011, 11:40:08 PM
I'll need to close the deal fairly soon for say $500 1 month 7GH/s.Damnit.Out foxxed by a rival bidder.I'll pay by MoneyBookers,Let's make it so.do you have extra capacity so that the rival bidder and me can both benefit from 7GH/s each?
1145  Economy / Services / Re: Shades Minoco - A diffrent type of mining company on: August 16, 2011, 11:37:15 PM

I'd like to show an interest in the 2GHash/s for no more than 6 months. Can you provide anything larger than 2GHash/s no contract (as I'll be paying u large sums of money just for the extra power,I expect not to be locked in at all if this is the case,if I choose your services)

Can a trial of services be used before paying? As I wish to make sure that the workers (miners) can access my pool properly e.t.c

Dude. No. My space is full up. I will bring more online if you buy a contract listed above? You don't want a full term? Sell it to someone else? Find a buddy and split it. In fact, I'll make an exception.

NOW OFFERING 1 DAY CONTRACTS.
$1500usd or BTC per day. Buy a day, get a year free! (If sixflags can do it, so can I)

So yeah, that is my daily rate.

daily rate is 1500USD?sounds a lot higher than a 6month contract (2GH/s for $750).How much pwer can I get with the 1 day service?

Since you're now full,I guess I'll take my business elsewhere (sigh)
1146  Economy / Services / Re: Anyone interested in 7 GH/s? on: August 16, 2011, 10:36:15 PM
Only if you drop the price for me then I'll buy.
I can pay with moneybookers if u can accept it.

How long is contract?

1147  Economy / Services / Re: Shades Minoco - A diffrent type of mining company on: August 16, 2011, 10:34:57 PM

Moneybrokers? Nope. If you do not like paypal, you can use btc. Or Western Union.
Min contract is 6mo. Waiting list is 5 people deep with approx 2 month wait for more space that is not 2ghs that could go as long as 6 months.
2000 contracts can always be bought and activated within 48 hours (In the event of a further delay, you will be notified during setup and before payment.)
Its not that I want to be a dick, but I already an selling these contracts at the lowest price possible. If you look at the pricing, the % diff between my services and the next leading competitor is 900 for 2ghs for 3 months. You do notice that, yes?

Right now,
I notice that the pricing is very competitive at the moment but I still expect a little extra discount since you'll effectively lock me into a 6mth contract for 2GHash/s.Is there a reason why you don't accept other payment methods? The ability to accept multiple payment methods without a fuss makes you a more attractive merchant to people like me and to others in business when negotiating contracts for important services.

1148  Economy / Services / Re: 1 GH/s 4 week mining contract on: August 16, 2011, 10:33:16 PM
How much is this in USD?Can you accept moneybookers without a problem?

Can you offer me more hash power for the 4 weeks than 1GH/s? If yes,I'd be interested in doing business with you.I'll need info on WoT (Web of trust or equivalent system for showing your reputation) before deciding tho.
Thank you.
1149  Economy / Services / Re: Shades Minoco - A diffrent type of mining company on: August 16, 2011, 09:18:24 AM
Hi,

Would you offer 2 Ghash/s for 3 months, for $375?
6 months is a bit of a long period (who knows how will bitcoin look in two weeks? Tongue), that's a bit too risky to me, but I like your rates and if everthing would go fine I would happily buy another 3 months after that.

P.S. Payment for the contract is paid upfront or monthly? I must admit that monthly would be a lot more convincing to me. ;-)

I'd like a 2GHash/s for 3 months contract as well as I wish to sample the services, also I'd like to start using a competively priced mining contract to supplement my mining abilities as well (400MHash/s on Radeon HD6950,I can't expand due to PSU/heat/budget limitations.)

Can payment be taken by MoneyBookers? I don't like PayPal's practices of what they do to sellers (which is let buyers file fraudlent chargebacks easilyand leaving the seller out of pocket and buyer keeps the product).I'd also like to show an interest in this service if the 3 months suggestion for 2GHash/s can be met? If hte length can't be less than 6 months that a discount can be applied for me as I'd be a first time buyer.

Thank you

1151  Economy / Services / Re: Shades Minoco - A diffrent type of mining company on: August 11, 2011, 03:35:51 PM
I can see the prices are very good (after working things out) but does anyone here have experience with this merchant?
Is this merchant reputable? Is the service good?Is the pricing competitive with all other services? Is this merchant open to negotiation regarding price and contract duration as well as payment methods (other than bitcoin)?

Thank you
1152  Economy / Services / Re: 1 GH/s 4 week mining contract on: August 11, 2011, 03:09:46 PM
How much does it cost for the full 4 weeks without renewing it? Also how much can I expect to get out of this?

Thank you.

Does this let me mine for bitcoins? Can the price be made a little lower? Also what is the price in UK GBP £?

Thank you.
1154  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining on gpu based cloud services on: August 11, 2011, 01:51:42 PM
Thanks for letting me know what to expect.Even though I'll be getting rates of 70MHash/s at beat,it's the equivalent of having 5 work computers running this for me (as they have fast CPUs but weak GPUs). I plan on using the free service tiers on multiple cloud GPU based sites so that I can get an extra trickle of bitcoins for no cost to me.I also have to meet eco targets now so I'll have to outsource my mining at some point so that my main 2 comps won't be on so often (17hrs a day eats up  lotta energy for 2 comps)

How can I do this on Amazons cloud? Can you guys also help me find other GPU cloud based services that I can use for mining for free (they have to allow the scripts to run on the free tiers),as I need to run my experiments, gather the info i get from those experiments and then use it in a film at some point.

1155  Bitcoin / Mining / Mining on gpu based cloud services on: August 11, 2011, 10:46:23 AM
Hi guys,
I know that mining on GPU cloud based services may seem rather odd,but I'd like to run experiments on this simply because I can't have access to work computers over the holidays (due to a fire some months back affecting certain areas I think).I discovered such a service called:http://www.hoopoe-cloud.com/

It's more for general use but if someone can help me find other GPU cloud based services that I can access for free (limited service is ok as this is an experiment not a serious mining job) and can use for mining then that's ok.

I'd also like someone who is more knowledgeable than me to create a way of using such services for mining.I know that amazon do allow such a thing but how to access the free tier of service (and to make sure i don't get charged for anything).

Any replies will be welcome thank you (as long as they're helpful) :-)

1156  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Optimizing ATI performance, 6950 in particular on: August 09, 2011, 02:06:32 PM
417 Mh/s
Core @ 975MHz, 1.150v
Mem @ 1250MHz
Temp @ 63C, fan @ 77%
Shaders unlocked
-v -w128

Unlikely, and with vectorization used, impossible...

Err not at all?
that looks normal for a unlocked 6950.

im doing 430 Mhash with mine

1.200 volt
unlocked shaders
1000 core
900 mem
Watercooled
~53c

I like the look of those performance figures for that card.I have a few questions about overvolting.
1.Is it safe to overvolt a card without too many ill effects (apart from higher heat needed faster fans to remove that heat)?
2.Can Overvolting shorten the life of my card/even if cooling is good?
3.If so how much can I expect service life (How long i can get use from my card in all situations including mining) of my card to be reduced via overvolting?
4.Does Overvolting boost or decrease sysem stability?
5.What are the benefits of overvolting?
6.is there a degradation like effect when cards are overvolted? like the ability to hold an overclock deteriorates over time, maybe?

I only started with a very small overvolt from 1100mV to 1105mV as I was afraid of frying out my card too much.
Thanx to 1105mV I managed to Oc at 900MHz core now whereas 1100mV froze the system now.I'm getting ~403MHash/s now (up from 396).old core clock was 890Mhz.fan cooling was boosted to 58%,temps are 72oC

Thank you :-)

Hearing this makes me curious about something.I hope that someone who's knowledgeable can help me here.

I wonder how much amps/watts a typicalhouse and apartment wiring system can handle in the UK.

The volt is 240V in UK,in the home it's about 40A max going from the utility to the house but I wonder how many watts and amps a typical circuit in UK can handle (for Appliances, not central heating as that's on a 30A circuit) in a apartment and in a house?
1158  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: GUI mining - Phoenix 1.5 and new, faster poclbm on: August 08, 2011, 10:26:14 PM
Is it typical to have a lower average hash rate when running 3 GPUs as opposed to running them 1 at a time?  I seem to lose close to 15% of the potential hash rate when running all 3 as opposed to what they each get individually.

3 x 6770s @ 1000/300 stock voltages
223 Mh/s single - averaging approx. 200 Mh/s each when running all 3.
-v -w128
Windows 7 64bit
11.6 drivers
Antec HighPower 750 watt
Asrock 970 mobo

This doesn't sound right.I've heard that in many cases, the accepted practice is to run 1 miner on each individual GPU as opposed to running 1 miner on 3 cards in crossfire.I'm not too sure myself as I'm no expert but that's something you may wish to try.

set up 1 miner on each of your GPUs basically.
1159  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining in Amazon Cloud? on: August 08, 2011, 03:19:39 PM
I want to know how to do this on Amazon cloud.

Is this available in U,the amazon cloud?

If so How do I signup in UK for Amazon cloud?

Has Amazon kicked or banned anyone from using the free tier of service for bitcoin mining?or is it allowed but throttled?

I neeed hlep with setup in cmd as I'm not very good with commandlines. Is it possible that your program can be made to be run with GUIMiner as the GUI front end.If not hepl with how to set up Ufasoft via cmd.

What commands do I need to use and in which order and which way should I type them in thanx.

I now managed to start it but am stuck on wht to do next.

Thank you.

If sum1 can post a screen grab of how I should do it for CPU and GPU miners if need be,that'd help me a lot

Thanx :-)
