Yes, some time ago it was officially announced that the 2nd ODI match between Bangladesh and Ireland was abandoned due to rain. Due to rain today's match was not played in 2nd inning. I expected Bangladesh team to win today but the game was abandoned. If Ireland players could have performed well in bowling today.  Maybe Bangladesh could not have scored so many runs. I think the runs that Bangladesh have scored are too many.

In the 2nd match of the ODI series between Australia and India, the Indian cricket team batted first. The Indian cricket team was a batting disaster right from the start. In this match Indian cricket team scored as expected. No batsman of Indian cricket team could play well. On the other hand, the bowling of the Australian cricket team was very good. The bowling of the Australian cricket team was so strong that they forced the Indian cricket team to end the game in 26 overs. Now let's see how well the Indian cricket team can bowl in the second innings

Sri Lanka is still trailing by 303 runs after the end of the third day. First, I got a little surprised to see that Sri Lanka was only able to score around 100 after a whole day. But then I realized they are batting the second innings, the follow-on.

At first, I got a little excited to see that they did not lose any wickets after the 26/2 at the end of the last day. But when I saw it is a follow-on, all my excitement ended in smoke along with my hopes of Sri Lanka winning. It is base less to compare women cricket with men. At the moment Indian women cricketer are not even close to Australian or English cricketers. First BCCI & the franchise needs to work on those grounds then we can compare them with Men cricket. I also agree WPL won't be generating as much revenue and craze like men's cricket. But both these franchise league will help BCCI generate more revenue and improve cricket infrastructure. That will give more opportunities to the cricket playing youth for both genders and overall help the Indian economy.

This match is completely gone from hands of team India no matter what now. It's shocking because this is the best Indian team who is ready to play the world cup on these pitches only. In the last March also the top order skittled only it was just due to the KL Rahul and lower order that India could make come back in that match. If the batsmen keep of failing this way continuously there is no point in saying this is our world cup team. We can't just justify ourselves by winning against Sri Lanka, New Zealand.

Captain Shaheen Shah Afridi, was truly exceptional and his performance was nothing less than extraordinary. It was amazing to see Shaheen Afridi show his skill not just as a bowler, but as a batsman too, leading his team to victory. He displayed great courage by coming in before David Wiese and playing an incredible innings. Truly, he emerged as hero of the PSL final.

In the second Test match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand, New Zealand scored 155 runs for the loss of two wickets in the first innings.

Devin Conway scored the highest personal score of 78 runs for the New Zealand team.This match Sri Lanka won the toss first and they decided to field first.

I thought today's match might be fiercely competitive between India and Australia, but the Australian batters could not stand in front of the Indian pressers. Mohammad Siraj (3) and Mohammad Sami (3) have managed to wreak havoc in the Australian batting line. Except for Mitchell Marsh (81), none of the other batsmen could take advantage today. If the Indian batsmen do not face disaster then India will definitely win today's match. However, Indian batsmen are expected to perform better on this pitch than the Australian batsmen.

It was a game of nerves and  Peshawar Zalmi turned out to be the one who kept their emotions and won the match. At one time when Alex Hales and Sohaib Maqsood were batting, it seems that Islamabad united will easily chase this total but this was not the case. As soon as Sohaib Maqsood was out in the 14th over, they lost quick wickets and lost the game eventually. At one time the score was 127/1 and it seems that no one can stop Islamabad from winning.

If Australia can score 200 runs it would be good to see some batting from the Indian batters. Mohammed Shami came back for a spell and wiped the Australian batsman and now struggling to reach 200 as they lost their 9th wicket and they have 15 overs left to bat and Mitchell Starc  and Zampa must play as long as possible and the Indian fielding is great tonight as they took some difficult catches.

Peshawar Zalmi are batting after losing the toss against Islamabad United. So far 11 overs have been played.  Peshawar Zalmi's total after 11 overs is 120-2/11.  Babar Azam has been outstanding with the bat so far. He really came out to bat with a lot of confidence today. Because the shots he is playing can only be played by a professional batsman and if he has a lot of confidence in himself. If Babar Azam can stay on the wicket at the end then Peshawar Zalmi runs will be 200 plus today.

Nepal wins a thrilling match against UAE by 9 runs in DLS method, thereby securing their place in the World cup qualifiers. This is undoubtedly the best achievement for Nepal in the history. Hope for the rise continues. Congratulations to Nepal, but such an unfair result for UAE. The loss due to insufficient light to continue but left a bittersweet taste for UAE side. While it's true that Nepal could have won the game easily by chasing. Fact is, UAE consumed more time and now they must regret not having utilized their time. So you are considering Islamabad united to be the favorite team but Babar Azam from Peshawar Zalmi is taking the game away from Islamabad United. Babar Azam has scored 49 runs in only 27 balls and is still not out in the match. Remember this is an eliminator match and one big inning by a player can be a game changer for the team.

Islamabad united should get few quick wickets right now otherwise Peshawar Zalmi are on its way to 200 runs. Remember chasing is always going to be challenging in a knockout match.

England team is very strong in T20 format. Every player in their squad is talented. And the best batsmen in the world are in England's squad. However, England's batsmen's performance against Bangladesh was very disappointing. I don't think England played badly because the pitch was bowling friendly. Because the Bangladeshi batsmen played well on the same pitch. England's performance has deteriorated badly. And I will say that if England can't get back on track before the next ODI match then I don't expect England to do very well in the next ODI World Cup.

Discrimination Qualifier Match

At first Multan Sultan's batting looked like Multan Sultan might lose this match but the result of the match turned out to be completely opposite. Today I could not stand the Lahore Qalanda in front of Multan Sultan. Lahore Qalandar went down to bat with a target of 161 runs and fell into a complete batting disaster. They were bowled out for just 76 runs and were defeated by Multan Sultans in the qualifiers by a huge margin of 84 runs. But there is another opportunity for Lahore Qalandar, if they can take advantage of that opportunity they may qualify for the finals. But today's match was not a competitive one but a discriminatory qualifier match. Still, best wishes from cricket fans to Multan Sultans for qualifying for the finals.

Lack of consistency in cricket is a common problem of the UAE team. They sometimes perform so well that deserves praise but sometimes they lose that consistency and their good performance is not appreciated. But in this stage Nepal has come a long way from that place.
I think these smaller teams could have had a good experience if they had the chance to play with a few good teams like Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Srilanka.

In united state tri-nation series United Arab Emirates face Papua New Guinea, PNG bat first extrodinary and score a handsome target of 234/7 in 50 overs where his captain score 65 with a strike rate of 70. Now United Arab Emirates (combine indopak team) look very sunsational because Thier captain Muhammad wasim play a great knock and  score century in this crutial situation with a strike rate of 156 which is phenomenal, now UAE need only 78 runs in 25 over which too easy for them to chase .

The upcoming match between Lahore and Multan will be a tight contest with both the teams possessing a lot of talent. As far as the match between Islamabad and Peshawar is concerned, Islamabad looks to have the upper hand and Azam Khan has been exceptional for them.
