I am not very comfortable with the idea of giving automatic qualification for 80% of the teams. IMO, apart from the hosts, all other countries must go through a qualifier tournament, similar to the case with any other sports. If someone refuses to play qualifiers, then that team must be kicked out of the world cup.

One thing I don't know about Rajasthan Royals is that they persist with non-performing players without any logic. The perfect example is that of Riyan Parag. No one knows why he is in the team. He has scored a total of 168 runs in 16 matches at an average of 16.80. And he has bowled a total of 4 overs, conceding 59 runs, while taking one wicket (economy rate of 14.75 runs per over). On top of that, he has behaved like a monkey on the field, abusing the opponent players. And yesterday also, he dropped some easy catches.

Which team would you choose between Lucknow and Bangalore today? Today my guess is that Lucknow will win. And we'll see the finals of two new teams. I say this because the Bangalore team is strong but the performance of their players is not consistent. However, in the previous match of Lucknow, they lost by a huge margin against Bangalore. Bangalore gave a target of 182 runs and Lucknow scored only 163 runs. My hope is that Lucknow will be able to avenge today's defeat.

I guess Srinath was the only bowler back then who could bowl at speeds of greater than 90 mph. Others such as Prasad and Mohanty struggled even to reach the 80 mph mark. But in terms of attitude, all of them were known to be mild natured. Even the generation of pace bowlers who came after the Srinath-Prasad era, such as Zaheer Khan maintained this reputation. Punjab will get an easy victory with the target of only 158 runs given by Hyderabad. Punjab scored 103 runs in 11 overs. They lost three wickets. Punjab needs 55 runs from 54 balls to win. Despite the good performances of Abhishek and Rahul, Hyderabad gave a target of only 156 runs due to the poor performance of the middle order. However, neither team has a chance to qualify for the playoffs.

It is very difficult to win against Rajasthan with a target of only 151 runs. In this match, I bet on the victory of Rajasthan. It is hoped that Rajasthan will easily defeat Chennai today.

This test series for me is really a waste of time. Since it was planned earlier that is why it is being played now otherwise I do not think the Srilankan cricket board has the funds to even host a series in their own country. I also do not consider Bangladesh to be a better side than Srilanka. Bangladesh being able to draw the first test with the Srilankan team shows how much the Srilankan team is affected by the current situation in their country.
