Situation in Sri Lanka is getting worse by the day and the president is in exile. They created this situation and they have no idea how to handle them and the people are protesting for the past few months.
In the match Sri Lanka is in a really good position and as long as Angelo Mathews who is a consistent performer for them they will be pilling up runs as they still trail by 180 runs and couple of good partnerships will put them in a good lead and the wicket is going to turn in the last two days considering how Sri Lankan spinners were able to extract spin from the first day.
But more surprising factor is that Aus haven't called off the tour despite this uneven situation. I think Srilanka military have taken control over the country matters. First test match for Prabath Jayasuriya and straight away he got 6 wickets and that too against team like Australia. IMO the match is very much balanced and it can still go in anyone side. |

That is not going to happen. ICC is not going to give the associate countries good enough chances to improve at the game. and the teams are also not going to improve because of that. ICC just does not want to accept that cricket is not very popular All Around The World and they will have to make cricket popular in a lot of areas. they just don't have any headaches about it.
Prime reason is that ICC these days is getting sufficient funds from IPL so they don't wanna do anything else. Already teams like Kenya and Zimbabwe are gone from international horizon but icc has no regret about that. India Women vs Sri Lanka Women
The Sri Lankan women's team is now playing their second ODI against the Indian women's team. Sri Lanka lost all their wickets for just 171 runs in the first match. In the second match too, the performance of the Sri Lankan batsmen did not improve. They lost all their wickets in just 173 runs. At the end of 14 overs, the Indian women's team collected 80 runs. They did not lose any wickets. India will easily win this match too.
India Women won the match by 10 wickets. Smriti Mandhana missed his century for just 6 runs. Both openers did the job for India, Shafali Verma on other end scored 71 runs. Srilanka women toured Pakistan recently and lost all the matches they played there. Still icc must encourage them by giving them more international matches that's the only way to improve there performance. |

Bangladesh has become a team that cannot play any format of cricket for now of you ask my opinion. They niether can bat now can bowl in their homeground. Just imagine a team unable to utilize the resources provided by their own ground staff. Their board need to work on finding talents otherwit they will become a team like Zimbabwe in the coming days.
Still one T20I to go and I am sure WIndies will win that also. Thanks to rain in first T20I, Bangladesh will now avoid a whitewash. Right now they are touring WIndies and there performance is same whether they play at home or abroad. They are no more a new team rather a regular test team for 2 decades. |

There is no place for kholi in the team due to his poor performance, but i don't understand why BCCI is sticking with out-form old talent and not giving chances to some new talent.
It has been a poor performance by the Indian team as they scored only 245 runs in the second innings. If India is unable to take some quick wickets, it will be all over for them. If this happens i would call it a big upset.
India is very much in the game because of there 416 runs in first innings and also due to low score of England in there first innings. Kohli no doubt is becoming a liability then an asset. He failed in this test match also. The match is still balanced as England need 197 runs and 7 wickets left. |

Despite losing the match, Shakib Al Hasan scored an unbeaten 68 runs off 52 balls. However, I expected another batter to step up, yet BAN failed once again. Bangladesh lost by a huge margin despite Shakib staying till the end. It was actually a slow innings, and not up to the standard of T20 matches when you have a big target. They will only win against Zimbabwe and associate nations, but not against WI at home with this approach. Nevertheless, the hosts put on a fantastic performance all around!
WI is not in great form these days still it won comfortably against Bangladesh. Bangladesh should try to find players other then shakib who can play match winning innings. Right now whole Bangladeshi team performance revolves around Shakib. Just look at the score card of 2nd T20I, there is no one who batted other than shakib. |

These Chad bongs are going to surprise us sooner than later and might kick at least 1 top team in upcoming T-20 WC. Then we'll go gaga over their victory and handover underdog tag, again!  They are just capable of doing an upset once in a while and that's possible since they have played too much cricket. There is some interesting news coming in from India. Russia has become the top crude oil supplier to India for the month of June. This is happening for the first time in history, as India has always depended on oil from middle east. Russia has displaced Iraq from the no.1 spot, after 1.2 million barrels of Russian crude was imported into India last month. Not sure about gas, but from what I have heard, purchases of Russian gas by Turkey and China are at all time high levels. So in this case, it is becoming easier to replace the buyer than the supplier.
Russia is an old and trusted ally of India. Indian defence is mostly dependent on Russian supplies until recently when India move to Western block for procurement of weapons like rafale jets.
