1421  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAIRLAY - The BETTING EXCHANGE - super high liquidity, 0% fees on sports on: February 17, 2016, 05:19:34 PM
Hello I don't understand a few things.

First how do I know that I have enough liquidity for my bet?
I see a number bellow the odds, which I believe to be the mBTC available for that bet. So if that is true, every time I place a bet bellow that value, that means I should get a full match of my bet right?

There is a very small change that things change while you are betting but in 99.5% of your bets this should be true.

You second question is a little bit complicated and we must admit that our site is a little bit confusing here. The short answer is: it is how you would expect it to be: if you offer 3.3 odds than someone who want's to make a bet bet will first get your 3.3.

The long answer: There are two ways to display the odds for "lay" or "against" bets. The first is the odds YOU get. And the other option is the odds the back better gets. In the first version of Fairlay we only offered a view with the odds YOU get because we thought that would be more relevant and intuitive to the user. So if the back better gets 3.3 that means that they bet 1 unit to win 3.3. Four you this means that you need to bet 2.3 units to win 3.3. Thus your odds are 1.434... (= 3.3/2.3). However - since most other big betting exchanges (betfair, matchbook, ...) most user where used to a different model where you would see the odds you give (and not you get). So we tried to make a compromise: in the overview you can see the bets like in a betting exchange like betfair. As soon as you click on it it will convert it to the odds YOU get.

So I assume the 3.3 you where talking about are the odds you got? If you would got the 1.434 (and the full amount was not matched) than indeed the best open offer for back should be 3.3. (If this is not the case please send us the link to the bet or event).

We know that this compromise is not the best solution but once you are used to it, it should work well. However - if you have ideas how we can improve our interface we are very open to it!

Just sent you a pm with the links.
Like I said there, I don't understand why my bet is not fully matched yet, since the lay option available now, is much better for me than the one I got, meaning I'm offering better odds, and they are not showed.

As for you question, yes I was talking about the odds I gave. The 3.3 or 3.4, I don't quite remember were the odds I gave. The odds I got as you can see in the link I sent by pm were 1.392.

I see a number bellow the odds, which I believe to be the mBTC available for that bet. So if that is true, every time I place a bet bellow that value, that means I should get a full match of my bet right?

Second lets say we have the game A vs B

On bet for A is @3
Against bet for A is @3.3

Lets say I make a bet "Against" @3.3 and it's not fully matched, if someone else goes to that market and makes an "On" bet @3 they will be given my odds right, and I will get my bet matched, since I'm offering better odds. Or the "On" bet @3 will get matched and mine will stay unmatched?

I'm asking because I have an unmatched bet "Against" @3.4, and it's not fully matched and I see a offer of an "On" bet @3.06, and it makes now sense to see that bet getting matched before mine, for those that want to make an "On" bet since I'm offering better odds.

Hope I made my example clear enough.

AS Roma vs Real Madrid my pick is double chance home or draw @2.02.There is big difference in odds of both teams but I am pretty sure the result of this match will be either Roma to win or draw in the end.I don't think Madrid will be able to win that easy.

i dont know i will place maybe safe bet placing both team to score cuz think both team will score at least one goal each
for other bet i might place HT draw cuz i have felling that they will play little reserve in first half

I think that is a very better option. Roma did not do that well in his group, with just a win and 3 draws. Real is not doing that well away, but they are amazing in home games, and did pretty damn good on champions group fase. I also expect a cautious game from both teams, so the HT draw seems like a good option.

Roma v Real Madrid
Half Time, The Draw @ 2.32
1424  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would you do if you bet max and get this 2 times? on: February 17, 2016, 12:55:51 PM
I only tried that one, when I was using a bonus, but I don't even remember if I ever hit the 10 or not. Anyway if I was doing that with my money I don't really think I would try all in twice in x10. Although it really seems appealing xD
1425  Economy / Gambling / Re: MASSIVE BITCOIN CHALLENGE SPONSORED BY VEGASCASINO.IO on: February 17, 2016, 12:16:04 PM

Nice challenge, I will follow it, as I already follow your thread. Also since there is a challenge here, and a big bankroll and large bets etc, does this mean that these tips are better, than the ones in your tipping thread? Like almost premium tip material?

Finally when you say that your starting balance is 100mBTC and you start making bets with 100mBTC, does that mean you are betting with 100% of your bankroll for this challenge, or when you say balance you are really just saying your starting bet stake?
well in the last 2 tryes i used all of my bankroll but if i win this bet i will try and distribute it probobly so that i can bet longer
also yeah they are really close to my premium tips ,some of them are my premium picks Wink

wow that is really great stuff then, and it's a great chance of seeing you work more serious and risk free. I will follow this then and hope you do well. I'm pretty sure the search for your premium picks will boost if this goes well.
1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Joca97 & CarlesPuyol Biggest Challenge made in Bitcointalk forum *Jar* on: February 17, 2016, 12:07:14 PM
If it is "all in" all the time I think it's to risky. If you were betting to achieve maximum profit during those 7 days it would be more appealing I guess.
1427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: February 15, 2016, 04:58:37 PM
From my point of Rio Ave is more better side and will win this match because it is on home ground so that it has pretty good chance there, i will place my bet on Rio Ave @1.97

I don't know, they are very similar teams, I cant really pick a winner here. I think I will go for the under 2.5
I expect that who ever scores first will start defend right after and it will be a bad game.

Rio Ave v Pacos Ferreira
Under 2.5 Goals @ 1.66

1429  Economy / Gambling / Re: Solve riddles | Get BTC | RiddleBTC.com | Enter now! on: February 15, 2016, 04:44:36 PM
Funny concept but I think you need to work on your site, and maybe get a free mode of the game, for users to test it out.
Also there are no examples on the ridles we will find etc. Maybe having a section with solved riddles, along with the free mode would help.

Finally how do you guarantee that the game is fair?
1430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy in Roulette ? on: February 15, 2016, 04:40:22 PM
Red or Black is best strategy i think, it's 50/50, you win or you go home, so it's all about luck
but still the chance is under 50% because i had several times play roulette and very difficult to not lost during play this game but i was heard that some people could won a lot from playing this game

People winning a lot is due to their luck. Some people hit it rich and win millions of dollars from the lottery, does this mean anyone can win the lottery? Yes, but a very slim chance. If you have luck you can win a lot, otherwise you'll lose it all.

Sometimes people think that when someone wins a lot of money in gambling they think they have some sort of elaborate strategy about it, but at the need the day it's just all luck. I have hit some really lucky strike in the casino and people thought I was using some sort of scheme but I was just having consistent luck through the night somehow.

Completely agree with you, and that is a very important concept one must have to do well in gambling. They must know that if they are winning is because they are being lucky. If they don't do that, and think it's because of the strategy or something like that, when they start losing, which it normal, they will search for another strategy, and chase losses etc, and some even buy strategies etc, which is even worse.

I do believe in bankroll management, but that's about it. The strategy must all be about bankroll, and trying to get the most of your luck and cut losses when you are losing, but not a strategy about beating the system... that does not exist.
1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a new gambling website stand out? on: February 15, 2016, 04:35:50 PM

There are hundreds of gambling websites in bitcoin community , if a new one comes out , what should that new website do to stand out and gain traction?

A new game would obviously help, but I still think the the main thing to be done to make a site stand out is major advertising and promotions. People will see it, get used to it, try it out, and if they are good enough they will continue. That is of course incredibly hard I think, because it requires a big investment.
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: February 14, 2016, 09:37:33 PM

I think I will go with you. Not that Valencia is doing much lately but recent games from Espanyol ended with some goals, so maybe this one will be the same. I will also go for the Deportivo v Betis. I will go for under 2.5 in this one.

Deportivo v Betis
Under 2.5 Goals @ 1.69

Valencia v Espanyol
Over 2.5 Goals @ 2

Did not expect so many goals on the Deportivo game. At least I won the bet with the highest odds, but since I bet more on the other game, I just manage to come out with a little profit. Still a good week overall. Valencia was quite effective I guess, so that helped xD
1433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football ligue on: February 14, 2016, 09:34:02 PM
As i said, PSG will not win this game Smiley

CoinViser

Glad I missed this one, because I would for sure keep backing them, but I just got home now, and started betting.
So these are my bets for tomorrow.

Nice v Marseille
Both teams to Score? Yes @ 1.81
Over 2.5 Goals @ 2.06

Cmon just need one more goal to win both bets in this game. I could really use these coins xD
Pretty damn balanced game, but there is still plenty of time for just one more goal I think.
1434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 14, 2016, 09:31:24 PM

Yep, just saw that result, did not expect that. Did not saw the game, but I'm glad they are getting better.
I will go for the Arsenal v Leicester tomorrow, and I will go with a risky bet. Leicester did well vs City, so I wonder if they can do it again.
I will risk ir all and take those odds. (not betting much though, the odds are good enough)

Arsenal v Leicester
Leicester @ 4.5

Arsenal was just to strong the this league continues amazing. I think it was better like this, they would get a huge advantage if they win.
I'm really hope they will go far in the premier, they are just doing so well, even with this loss, I mean we can't really compare both teams, and they are still on top.
1435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 14, 2016, 09:28:33 PM
Damn I missed all the games for today. Well at least by not betting I did not lost any coins xD
For tomorrow I will go for the Hamburg v Mgladbach. I think the best approach her is over 2.5 and both teams to score. Can't really predict a winner.

Hamburg v Mgladbach
Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.72

Both teams to Score? Yes @ 1.59

What a great game for betting. All bets already won at half time. Could have risked even more, but I'm glad with the outcome.
Easy coins here xD
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: February 14, 2016, 09:26:28 PM
Missed the Portuguese classic yesterday. Glad Porto win, since I kind of like them, must say Casillas did very well though.
This is my bet for today. I think Guimaraes is a decent bet. They are not so stable but they are very decent at home, even manage to win vs Porto, but that was a completely different game. Let's see how they do today.

Guimaraes v Setubal
Guimaraes @ 1.82

pff what a bad game from Guimarães... they did not even deserve the draw in my opinion. Always the same thing with these teams, when they can't just defend and try to attack from time to time, like the game vs Porto, they just show all the weaknesses in their defences.
1437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 14, 2016, 09:23:50 PM
Glad I still got this one on time. I will go for the Juventus v Napoli. I realy expect a great game here, but I don't expect to many goals. Juventus had been unstoppable lately at home, and without conceding any goals. Neither of the teams will risk it to much I guess, so I will go for under 2.5.

Juventus v Napoli
Under 2.5 Goals @ 1.46

It went as expected. The odds were not very big, so no surprises here. Juventus continues unstoppable at home. Their defense is just to strong, they don't suffer any goals xD

Has anyone been able to use live chat today?
I usually don't have any problems with them, at any given day, but I'm trying to speak with them and they are always offline :/
Already left a message though, but still no response.
