I have a question regarding this Challenge. I was checking the competition, and I saw a Parlay win from EdenHazard @12.06.
Although it was only settled today, since the last event time was at 05/12/2016 03:10. The bet was placed at 2016-05-11 19:55:22, according to blockchain. That means that this parlay does not count for this daily challenge right?
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: May 10, 2016, 11:09:46 PM
Actually i never saw a man, who has rich from Gambling?
I m not playing gambling because i saw a lot of people who has lost everything in gambling.
So i want to ask if anyone is here how has rich from GAMBLING ??

Well I'm not rich from gambling (I'm not rich period xD), but as to look examples from guys that get rich from gambling, just google the history from poker pros, and you will see that many of them did it all from poker itself.
1243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 10, 2016, 11:06:49 PM
So West Ham did it , I am not shocked because I have seen West Ham beats big teams like Man City or Chelsea , for that it is original to beat Man United . I think Man United maybe out of Champions league next year , West Ham presents big gift for Man City .

Not decided yet, but yes a big probability of not seeing United on Champions next year.
Don't even remember the last time it happened. A real bad season for them.

For tomorrow I will go for Liverpool v Chelsea. Not a good season for both teams, and it's just a game for itself.
Liverpool is strong at home, and normally does well against good teams like Chelsea, so I expect a win for them.

Liverpool v Chelsea
Liverpool @ 1.86

Another bet for today. This time I will go for the game Estoril v Arouca.
The game is not important for Arouca, since they secure a spot in the Europa League qualifiers after a great season for them. Estoril is doing also a good season, and are still fighting for a place in the qualifiers as well, and really need this win. They are both very similar teams, so it won't be easy, but I will put my money on them. I will also go for both teams to score.

Estoril v Arouca
Estoril @ 1.92
Both teams to Score? Yes @ 1.92

Got a nice win on both teams to score, to bad Estoril did not win, a 2-1 would be great for me.
I guess they defended for to long, given the "early" lead, and paid the price in the end.

Sorry I do not understand about the prize winners of the daily challenges I mean what would I get if I win most of the daily challenges

If you win most of the Daily Challenges, at the end of the competition you will get an added 30 mBTC for each Challenge you won. So, effectively, you get double the amount you won for the challenges (60 mBTC, instead of the usual 30 mBTC).

Now, for today's challenge, the winner was... EdenHazard, with an impressive increase in ROI of 19.59% (RealPhotoshoper was pretty close too, with 16.99%).

Congrats, EdenHazard! Please PM your playing wallet account to Michelle (DirectDice) who will personally fund it with the prize amount.

For the next daily challenge, the winner will be the one with the most bets placed during the day (minimum odds 1.2).

Good luck!

wow that really is an impressive ROI% in just one day!
Congrats man, you really deserve this Daily Challenge win.

I guess I will try again on tomorrow's challenge xD
(daily prize already on my account, thanks direcbet! Really fast support as usual!)

(patt0, please pm PM your playing wallet account to Michelle (DirectDice) who will personally fund the playing wallet account with the prize amount)

The next Daily Challenge:

Good luck!

ps: patt0, thanks for your suggestion, we will take it into consideration.

Nice I won! Thanks a lot. This competition has really changed a lot since my first participation, and it looks much better now!
Thanks directbet, Fruegreads and u9y42, for hosting such a great competition!

Let's see if I put that prize to good use xD

---Main Rules---

7. You can not have "duplicate" bets even if they are made at diferent odds. If you do so, we will only count the first one.

I think this rule is a little "unfair". I think you should at least consider the bet that pays the most, and not just the first one made.
Let's say I'm seeing a game, and I make a small bet. I'm watching the game and I think that I should bet even more, because I'm more confidant about my decision, so I bet again with a higher stake.
Or let's say that things go against me and the odd increases, but I'm still convinced that team will win, so I reforce my bet to take advantage of the higher odds.

I think that if you cant calculate the average stake/odds, you should at least consider the bet that pays the most (this also solves the cases where the user makes a mistake and uses a smaller stake than what he intended to).

I understand you probably can't change this rule since the competition has already started, but it's a suggestion for future competitions.
1248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: May 09, 2016, 02:00:29 PM
Really competitive season in the Spanish League. I don't remember a "battle" like this in quite some time.
I it would be funny if Barcelona lost last game, Real draws and Atletico wins, and they would all finish with 88 points xD
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 09, 2016, 01:55:56 PM
Roma is aiming this 2nd place spot
Hope they claim it cuz now they play better then napoli

I agree with you but it will be hard for them. Only one game away, and Napoli has a much easier game, playing at home vs a team that is already demoted, and Roma has to play away vs AC Milan. Hope they win, because I also think they deserve 2nd spot, but it wont be easy.

yeah Arouca have secured the Europa League spot for next season from Pacos de Ferreira , it could be an experiment game for them but i still believe Arouca could make the game draw at least. i'll pick double chance FT for draw or away @1.9 and under 2.5 goals @1.71 due i doubt both teams would scored.

Not sure about the under 2.5
The way I see it, since Arouca has nothing to lose they will play an "open" game. They will sure try to win, and have no pressure, so they are not very concerned about the result, and expect an "offensive" game from them. That's the only reason why I expect some goals. Estoril on the other hand will take the game very serious of course, and they will probably try to defend an early lead if they get it.

If this was an important game for both teams, I would also go under 2.5 as well.

I forgot about Inter game, so I think it will be a good addition to my parlay.
They have been doing decently at home lately, and Empoli has been losing a lot of games, so I don't think Inter will waste this opportunity to secure direct entry to Europa League.

So my final parlay:

Roma v Chievo
Roma @ 1.19
Torino v Napoli
Napoli @ 1.38
Inter v Empoli
Inter @ 1.32

Total odds: @ 2.16

A good win here. Inter got me a little scared but not to much. This bet ended a great week.
To bad this was the only bet I used in directbet competition, I would probably be in top7 by now, If I placed all my bets in the competition :/
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: May 08, 2016, 10:54:56 PM
I will go for Academica v Braga, and Rio Ave v Porto. This is a very important game both for Rio Ave and Braga, because of International competitions. Braga want's to guarantee there presence in Europa League, and Rio Ave wants a shot at it, and will try to take advantage of Porto, that is having a bad season. Still I don't think Porto will lose this one, and will do well in an open game.

Academica v Braga
Braga @ 1.97

Rio Ave v Porto
Porto @ 1.8

Another great week for me, my only lost was Braga, and I got average odds above 1.8 on all my bets.
This draw from Braga did not affect me much. I don't think I will bet in them again. They were on all "fronts" for to long, and are probably demotivated now and are not doing well.
1254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: May 08, 2016, 10:52:12 PM
I'm don't know if there will be that many goals on Celta Vigo v Malaga. The game is not that important for both teams, a little more to Malaga, because of the chance to get direct entry in Europa league if they win, but they are not scoring that many goals lately nor conceding, so I will go with under 2.5.

Celta Vigo v Malaga
Under 2.5 Goals @ 2.12

I will also bet on Celta de Vigo to win. They have a much easier match than Bilbao, and I'm sure they want to keep the pressure for that direct access to Europa League, so I will go for them.

Celta Vigo v Malaga
Celta Vigo @ 1.5

This was a great game for me. It's a great feeling when things just go perfect like this. Really great profit from this one.
Malaga went for the third game away without scoring, and also conceding a low number of goals, and Celta did what they should. Win at home, to keep that important 5th place for now.

Glad United did not disappointed me. I will go for Leicester today. I know they are the champions, and although they will celebrate and the match is not important, a party with a win is much better, and I think they will do it.

Leicester v Everton
Leicester @ 1.87

Another win in the premier League @1.8. Things are looking good in these final games.
Leicester did not disappoint again and made me some coins xD
1256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 07, 2016, 02:19:56 PM
Tomorrow I will go for Norwich v Man Utd. A bad season to United, so I guess they don't to make it even harder and don't directly qualify to Europa League, so I expect a win tomorrow. It's a very important game for Norwich as well, but I think they won't be able to win, but I do expect an open game.

Norwich v Man Utd
Man Utd @ 1.83

Glad United did not disappointed me. I will go for Leicester today. I know they are the champions, and although they will celebrate and the match is not important, a party with a win is much better, and I think they will do it.

Pacos Ferreira vs Tondela as i think Pacos Ferreira is on good streak and playing on home ground will be good one for it to beat Tondela and save 3 points there, i am pretty sure about Pacos Ferreira will win this match because it is playing very impressive and my pick will be ML @1.70

I thought the same. These teams are so unreliable I don't even know what to do sometimes lol
