So if we compile a few BTC to buy Cryptsy points with, and then use those to buy votes for DGB, we could potentially get many thousand votes and win?
Does anyone have capital to do this?
Sell some DGB's from the premine for BTC and use them to vote. I'll buy 500k DGB for 0.2 BTC, that'll buy 1000 votes. Definitely We are selling some of the premine to get some more votes. We are waiting to get the withdrawal processed. In the mean time please go to this BTER thread and ask them to add DigiByte to the voting list. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=502363.new#newBe nice if we can keep that DGB in the community, I have 0.25 BTC im willing to part with? PM me if its of any interest Thank you for the offer, well sold just a little bit and we used some existing BTC we had on hand. We should be at #1 here shortly! In the future we will for sure mention it to keep DigiBytes within the community as you mentioned.

Shirts, keychains, etc. Anything that has the URL or method to stick in the people's mind would be great. Hell, it may be worthy to get announce a large merchant partnership as an announcement there to show how much DGB is growing! YC Jared, If you are speaking at the Crypto Convention in April, may be worth giving people DGB as a giveaway and promotion method. Not sure if you have a booth there, but have live machines to show how to download wallets, provide benefits and long term vision. Every person that signs up gets 100 DGB or something of that nature. Might be even good to have paper wallets!

+1 those who go to the convention may not be active on BCT, this is GREAT opportunity to increase user base as well as get exposure. Very good ideas!

Start spreading the word on the main Digibyte.co, Reddit and other social media platforms to vote for the coin on Cryptsy! This is our chance.
YC
For sure! Done, done & done! Lets keep the votes rolling in!

Maybe they hate us for the repeated messages to get added to Cryptsy. How else are we supposed to get their attention though? Also could you add me to the pools list? www.omargpools.ca:9022It's a Canadian Hosted P2Pool with a 1% Fee Thanks! Will get you added! Thanks!

Fix that We have tried Sammy. We have sent them several messages with no response. They know who we are. Mark said 26 minutes ago Hello rouxy,
Thank you for your concern. Here at cryptsy we make sure our clients funds are safe and secure by adding several security features. The reason we don't carry all coins is because we make sure that a coin is made properly and has strong developers behind it with big volumes of transactions. Early on a lot of coins have issues with wallets and developers leaving and then there is no way to properly deposit or withdrawal that certain coin type. We take all measures into consideration before considering new coins on our exchange.
Sincerely Mark Cryptsy.com Yes, now the next coin they are looking at adding is "ZedCoin" which has such a "thriving" community and "committed" development team. (Sarcasm) https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes/Zedcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=432261.0It is very apparent at this point that for whatever reason Cryptsy has taken a very strong disliking to DigiByte. We will continue moving forward and making progress and working hard every day to ensure a bright future for DigiByte, with or without Cryptsy. There are many great up and coming exchanges who have shown support for DigiByte that we as a community should get behind.

We do not see DigiByte on there.

Another thought to the development team:
Have you asked Coinbase.com if they are willing to add DGB to convert from USD? Could be a first. They are a US company (based in San Francisco) and this would provide huge exposure and controls in place.
YC
This is a great idea, and will be approaching them in the coming weeks!

I feel like we should be using our reddit.com/r/Digibyte/ as a discussion platform in favor of this thread. That way, other redditors can read about our amazing coin more easily, and we can start tipping!
+1 Shouldn't we be using both bitcointalk and reddit? Yes, And IRC too! Utilize all the channels!!! #digibytecoin on freenode.net indeed it would be nice! United! Agreed. Hey, you - are you on reddit? Yeah? http://www.reddit.com/r/Digibyte/ - come join us! No? Sign up, then subscribe to /r/DigiByte! Still not convinced? We have tipbots and reddit is known for throwing coins around. Give it a shot - I didn't think I'd like it for years and now forums like bitcointalk feel archaic and sloppy as hell, almost painful to use. +1 A great community is forming on Reddit!
