The point? If the above is a TLDR... then the point is this. The easier it is the get them and spend them.... the more "normal" people will get involved.
Here's a thought: How about selling wallet software pre-configured with DigiBytes? Just run the install routine and you end up with a functioning DigiByte wallet with coins ready to go? You could sell them in the same places AOL used to give away their CDs, everywhere!
I know everyone will worry about the value of the coins as they sit and wait for a buyer but, so what? So they go up in value, great for the new buyer. So they go down in value, so what? They are still spendable digital currency...
You could almost give them away and take an up front loss for the long term gain. I don't think it would be too technically difficult unless you wanted to redesign the wallet, which just might be the icing on the cake. Make it easier, sort of a "starter" wallet. Make the packaging irresistable, flashy and bright.
Also, include places to spend your new Digibyte either directly in the wallet or, provide a seperate list. If you put it in the wallet, ET could phone home on a regular basis and update the vendor list. How about that huh?
Could be the answer to the "that's too hard for me" problem.... Someones going to do it sooner or later, might as well be DigiByte...

This is a really great idea! We are going to brainstorm some more about this!
