Great news everyone!
We have finally got the multi-algo code functioning with the proper difficulty adjustments. Our previous open test revealed several issues that we have now corrected. One of the issues was making the difficulty of two of the other algos match sha's difficulty. This was obviously an issue and it was not an issue easily revealed with in house testing. We needed to have that additional hash to show how the network would really respond. So thank you all for helping with that!
We are now testing some more tweaks to optimize the DigiShield performance so there is no chance of a sluggish blockchain like we are seeing now. We are also considering testing a couple other algorithms which we think will be more energy efficient for everyone's GPU's. We will make 100% sure everything works before releasing the update.
Right now our goal is to finalize/release the update by Wednesday. Thank you for your patience!

Yes. As much as this infuriates us we should all approach this in a civil, well mannered way. By explaining in detail how some of their proposed regulations are not only unenforceable, they are completely impossible we can effect some change. Also, for those of us in the states, let's contact our local state representative s to effect some positive changes for future generations.

Yes, some of the regulations make sense. But some are completely impractical. I have already spoken with our attorney who read over the proposed laws. As they stand some are unconstitutional and New York's attempt to regulate & put undo burdens on interstate commerce would most likely be shot down by the Supreme Court. I am going to write my state regulators here in Idaho to urge them to follow Texas's lead and not New York's. I would urge everyone who is in the US to do the same with their state representatives. Some states could follow new New York's lead, which could be a huge burden on all of us.

Just tried to mine myriad-groestl with my cpu and got the following:
./minerd -a myr-gr -o http://69.164.206.169:20001 -u groestl -p iWanttominesomedgbGroestl [2014-07-18 02:24:34] HTTP request failed: The requested URL returned error: 500 Internal Server Error [2014-07-18 02:24:34] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds
it' offline Now with 100Mh/s on Skein. edit: Mining Algorithm #3: DigiGPU (Skein) This is the most efficient GPU mining algo of all 5 and can be mined with a specialized cgminer download. In which way is this algo efficient? My HD5870 is at 85°C and so I guess it sucks max power from the wall There also seems to be a bug on http://69.164.206.169/workers as it shows the exact same hashrate for Skein as for Scrypt. Yes, skein does appear to be a power hog. We are in the process of re-working the pool. We have brought in some pool experts to help us workout the pool kinks as it has been causing some fuss. We kept experiencing crashes with Qubit and we also could not get Groestl working correctly. We will keep you posted. Please go ahead and pull your hash from the test pool for the time being. Will post another update later today/tomorrow. Thanks again everyone!

Just wanted to give everyone an update. The testing has went somewhat decently but it has revealed a few issues we need to address. We are working on ironing the kinks out as we speak.
The biggest problem we have ran into has actually been with the mining pool itself. Setting up all 5 mining algorithms on one mining pool as proved a bit ambitious. To date there are no mining pools out there that have been able to achieve that with NOMP. Stay tuned for more updates! We are working hard and want to make sure there are no issues when we roll out this update! Thanks for all your support and help with testing!
Good luck! What does that NOMP mean? NOMP= Node Open Mining Portal. It is a next generation mining pool that supports multiple coins, as well as multiple hashing algos. It does not require a user to sign up, thereby mitigating security breaches/ stolen coins etc. https://github.com/zone117x/node-open-mining-portalOh i'll research this, not sure if i heard about it yet. Awesome! If anyone knows of any other up & coming mining pool technologies we would love to hear about them!

What have the initial results been?
YC
We have now just now reached a full 24 hours and will be crunching some numbers and putting data points together. Qubit and groestl seem to be causing a few problems as they have been sluggish/hard to mine. Mainly do to issues with the mining pool. We have seen some impressive hash swings and we really people helping us out.

Hi
I've just started mining using the Digi3to1 (Myr-Groestl) algo. Below are details of the machine, software, etc. if anyone wants to compare hashrates:
Alienware X51 GPU: nVidia Geforce GTX 660 1.5GB (This is an OEM version of the 660) Stock GPU Settings: 824MHz Core and 1400MHz Memory (Current Boost: 966MHz, no change after 30min) CPU: i7-4770 RAM: 8GB OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit Graphics Driver: 337.88
Mining Software: ccMiner v1.2
Hashrate: Around 8250kh/s
Let me know if there's any other info that missing that may be relevant.
I have around 3GH/s of ASICMiner USBs that I'll be able to use to test DigiBitcoin (Sha256), but I won't be able to configure them until later today. I'll update this post once I do.
This is awesome! Thank you for sharing and helping out with testing! Are you getting shares/blocks with the nVidia card?

Can someone share the conf file (not bat file ) sample for skein algo for r9 280x
when i run the normal scrypt conf it gives me hardware error
Thanks
Are you running the modified miner? yes i'm, does each algo need diffrent wallet address or just the normal wallet? i'm asking cuase in getting started it says skein wallet address is this special wallet thanks for the conf above it works fine No, one address will work fine when actual mining starts in main net. The testnet one will work fine as well right now for algos. Thanks for helping with testing!

We have talked with the Myriadcoin devs as well as other devs and it appears to not be possible to include groestl with NOMP. No one to date has got groestl running on a NOMP pool.
We are now in the process of getting Groestl set up on a second MPOS pool. We will try and get everything set up under the same front end but no guarantees.
We are able to solo mine all 5 algos, but for testing purposes we want to get everyone to link to a single pool so we have some very accurate network data when we run the 48 hour mining test. Will post another update tonight or tomorrow morning as we get closer to the test.
So does this mean that changing "normalHashing": true, in the coin definition in NOMP didn't work? No it did not. To get things rolling we will be starting a large scale 48 hour mining test tomorrow at 8 PM UTC, that's 4 PM in New York, 1 PM in Los Angles. We could use all the test hash we can get! We will be posting detailed instructions on how to connect to the test pool in the next few hours. We will also be posting details on which mining software you will need for each algo. This is a great learning experience for those new to multi-algo. Please note this will be on TESTNET only. The coins mined will not be actual coins. Our goal is to throw as much hash on all 5 algos as possible to make sure we have no issues like we did with the last 2.9.1 update. This is also why we want to run the test for 24-48 hours. You should consider some kind of a giveaway even if it's a small one, otherwise you can't really expect people to throw a lot of hash at the testnet. It just does not work like that. Very good point. Guess it depends on how large of a test you are looking for We would love to have a reward for everyone, but we are tapped out and at the end of our development funding until we receive the first disbursement of outside investment. The pre-mine is almost completely depleted. We look at it like this, we are a community and everyone will benefit by donating a few hours of hash toward the network. We will run the test for 48 hours but this does not mean we expect people to run their miners for a full 48 hours. Download a different algo miner, play around with it, change it, switch algos and then after a few hours go back to mining as normal. We want to simulate real life hash swings here. Making sure everything works will benefit everyone in the long run! Thanks again for all your patience and support!

Will be releasing the mining test info shortly. Thank you in advance to all those who help us with the test.

What is the price range can be when everything is settled ? Any guess ? $10 each :-) In my dreams... I retire 10 minutes later 1-2 years from now, with what we are working on in the background, this is not that crazy of an idea.
