Greetings Everyone,
Just wanted to give you all a quick update to let you know we are still here and working. I (Jared) have had some personal issues arise the past couple weeks I have had to deal with. Including a move to a new location which required me to move the filming studio I had set up. We have just about set up a new one so we can begin rolling out videos once more.
I personally have been working on DigiByte since the beginning of last December pretty much 7 days a week non stop. Some times 14+ hours a day. So I have neglected other parts of my life which I am now paying for. I have now got those issues sorted out and I am working with others on the team (who still have full time jobs) to keep working on future developments.
We have been talking with some serious investors the past couple weeks at least every other day. We will be flying to LA on June 2nd to hopefully finalize a deal. This process has been very time consuming as it has required some very detailed plans and research to be done as to how we can properly build & market an exchange in todays uncertain regulatory environment.
With recent developments that have arisen in the algorithm aspect of cryptos we have held of on officially announcing an algo change until we know for sure we are making the right move.
We apologize if we have not responded to some people yet but we have received countless messages from other coins asking us to implement DigiShield into their coin with zero to little compensation for our time or energy. We definitely want to support the development of crypto currency technology but we only have some many hours in the day and limited financial resources at the moment.

It has been consuming all our resources and time this past week. We have had to delay some of the new videos & announcements we planned on making this weekend in order to get things lined up for Digi-Pay.
This has anything to do with http://digipay.io/ by Moolah? Or is it something new exclusive for DigiByte coin? This will be exclusive to DigiByte. We have had the domain name www.Digi-Pay.com since December of last year. |

Sure hope the new algo is going to be groestl. what do I wrong version 2.9.1 of the wallet version and mac os x 10.9.2 If I close the wallet I get this  and if I use the backup I get this:  Help please!!!! That message is normal. You got the error with the old wallet because the new wallet index's the block chain differently. |

Hello, the updated Mac OSX Wallet is ready?
+1, now it is v2.0.0.0 DigiShield we need 2.9.2  We have spent several entire days now over the past couple weeks trying to get the v2.9.1 Mac OSX wallet compiled into a DMG for deployment. We keep getting several errors with the new codebase we have had to work through. It has been a real pain. We have enlisted the help of a few different developers now. We have the wallet compiled and almost ready to go. We should have it out by tomorrow. Thanks for your patience! |

Don't want to be rude but it should be a really small and easy fix. Also in general the logos inside of it don't look very crisp. Dotabeard, Those images come from a pre-packaged set of icons on a sprite file. We do not have the original source files to edit them easily. We feel there are several more important things to work on at the moment as we don't have time so spend several hours slightly altering and image that works quite well for what it is doing at the moment. We are planning a full website upgrade in the coming months as it is. So those images will be replaced. Thank you for your concern and feedback on the site. |

Been a pretty quiet week as well. Things move quickly in the Crypto world.

Digibyte is being late. Many coins around, people may lose interest easily... we have to keep up and release ASAP whatever coming...
I agree with this. We need to get a big push going. Or atleast get some traction somehow. There's just not enough to DigiByte yet that sets it apart. We are working on some things to completely separate us from the pack. We apologize for not being very active these past few days but we are working to get some important things done to push us to the top. |
