Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] BANKERA - the Bank for the Blockchain Era

I find it uneasy that Bankera Exchange is being linked from the front page (and shared around by others), yet it doesn't have any clear indications that it's not a functioning exchange yet. There is that one-time "Bankera Pilot Program" popup, which is likely to be ignored or confuse people as "Pilot Program" is pretty ambiguous, especially if it doesn't have any additional information about the program itself. After that popup everything looks like an already launched exchange, except it is not. And people will be actively looking to trade their tokens now. To make matters worse the exchange has realistically looking BNK pairs with unrealistic prices... somebody thought that it's a good idea to have that visible? On a related note, including price speculation in one of the previous Q&A sessions was similarly eye-rolling. Finally, can geo-blocked countries get to access blog again now that ICO is over? That'd be great.

Why should anyone compare total money collected during ICO to the random amounts you throw around if number spent on the bank acquisition isn't public? Maybe they did only spent $16000 on it and distributed the rest to every person in social media who calls your mental issues out. Yes I'm sure, that Vanuatu Bank bought by Bankera scammers, is well established, with a lot of a local clients that are familiar with blockchain banking Dude you are just another paid shill of that scammers. BTW offshore online banking is prohibited in EU and US and 500 000 + registration fee = $ 516 000. Now compare that amount to $100 million that was collected during ICO you fucking idiot.

The site is working fine for me as it always was. $16750 is bank registration fee, you'd still need $500000 min capital (it's in the first answer of the FAQ you linked). It's not hard to imagine that an already established bank with clients, infrastructure, connections and etc. has more value than a "registration fee" anyway. What I'm trying to say is, that if you're so quick to resort to calling others "fucking ignorant idiots", maybe you should put more effort in not sounding like one yourself. That being said, the communication regarding the acquisition was pretty trash, so they brought FUD like this on themselves. Dude, I have reasons to believe that you are another fucking paid shill of bankera scammers. Accuire more established offshore banks?? They bought a non operational online bank with no license and non working website in Vanuatu https://pacificprivatebank.com/ Do you know where is Vanuatu you fucking ignorant idiot ? Anybody can establish a bank in Vanuatu for US$16,750 I can even recommend a company who is offering that servise https://www.offshorecompany.com/banking/vanuatu-bank-license/ Yea you fucking idiot 16.750 US DOLLARS !!! And that scammers collected over 100 million dollars already. Bankera is nothing but a scam orchestrated by Lithuanian criminals.

There will be a Q&A about it after the ICO.
After the ICO? Interesting... That's 5 weeks of possible FUD and a lot of Qs which will get speculations instead of answers. To some extent communication (or lack thereof) now also has effect on future demand and price of the token, however small that influence might be. Some threads in /r/bankera could use attention from mods. I know Reddit isn't very popular in Lithuania, but platform of such potential influence shouldn't be completely overlooked.

@Bankera:
The announcement about the purchase of the Pacific Private Bank could have been handled better. It left a lot of people mystified, because it's not apparent what role this acquisition will play in Bankera's future. This can be chalked off on your management's young age and inexperience - this time - but given the amount of money involved, you really need to get better at communication. Maybe hire someone with actual (10-15 years) industry experience. Poorly handled communication can really hurt you and stop people from taking you in good faith.
I'd have to agree here. While I like the news itself, the way it was handled left too much room for FUD. Hopefully the next Q&A will clear some of the concerns and confusions people have about this deal, but it would've been great to do that preemptively, even if that means longer and less snappy blog posts or videos. And I know that's not a secret information, since I glanced over the bankera chat and there were a lot of unofficially presented statements from official people which clarified quite a lot and would've worked so well in the announcement/reddit thread/here. Those resources then later can be referenced by the community members thus relieving some of the pressure on support team which from the looks of it is already overloaded. And make those popup cookie expiration times in bankera.com longer!

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Leaving crypto, have a couple domains (altsino.com, coindrain.com). What to do?
|
on: December 07, 2014, 02:14:57 PM

Hello,
Not sure if this is the right place to post a thread like this, but I would like to get some advice on what should I do with my domains/projects. In the beginning of this year I was quite excited about crypto and used my webdev skills to make a couple of Particle-targeted (with intention to expand in to multiple coins) projects. A faucet (currently not working) coindrain.com and a basic gambling/game site altsino.com (altcoin casino). As Particle kind of died, I got disappointed and drifted away.
So, what are my options here? I never sold any projects/domains before, is that would be worth the effort in this case? What starting price could be? Or should I just park them and leave be?
What would you do?
Thanks!

What's happening with CoinedUp? I can't withdraw PRT from it, even trying that with their crazy 5000 limit doesn't work. Have I missed something?
Also, 4 months ago I was writing that moonmoon needs to communicate better and it's sad to see that not much changed. So many people would've stayed with PRT otherwise... I'm still having some small hopes left, but mostly ignoring all crypto stuff and working on my own projects, where, if I fail, I can only blame myself.
Lone time no see Snotty I think moonmoon never give up, he is just coding I want to believe that. He seems to be a super smart & great developer (maybe a bit too ambitious), but coin & community needs more... So, as I understand plan is to switch PRT to PRT X? I need to get my PRT from damn coinedup, why is there that 5000 limit...

You are a good man.do not leave prt. Well, I missed a window to do that, when price went up. I hoped that it's finally started moving up... Anyway, I also do have NOBL and DGB, which are very low too (to compare with the prices when I bought them), but one difference from PRT - devs/owners are constantly communicating (which was the main reason I bought some of those coins in the first place).

Can we get http://www.cryptokk.com/ removed from the exchanges list on the first post please? The message on their homepage states that it was hacked and all users coins gone! Done. Arrgh, yet another one down. People be careful out there with your coins, don't use exchanges as a wallet! Your going to want to be withdrawing your coins to your wallets at least weekly soon anyway. Moonmoon, have you seen that BBcode of the first post, which I made and what is your opinion about it? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=392804.msg4801778#msg4801778The original post is now updated with this Awesome! It might be harder to update with the table layout, but looks nice and tidy!

I got a bit distracted from crypto after a couple of dissapointments, but I still have my PRT and keep them just to see if this thing will finally lift off. I'm still under impression that moonmoon should have someone to help in PR departament, so even when he is working hard, there would be a person to keep us, believers, updated and inspired. I don't mind if I lose my money invested, but I did spent a quite a bit of time trying to do something good for Particle (graphics, promotion) and I really hope that it was not wasted.
