oh my , thats a lot of 24H volume Why is there suddenly so much volume and revaluation ? What's going on ? Is it just the hedging tide coming back in from bitcoin's correction ? Drinks machine ? You're our market mentor, YOU need to tell US! LOL. I'm going to guess it has something to do with Bitcoin's slap in the face by Hearn and the marketing we've been doing finally moving people into action. Then once things started to move, it flows heavy a while. I think it's slowing down, but what's interesting to me is that the price is holding. I'm also glad to see Bitcoin has leveled off as well. I think what Hearn did was awesome! Bitcoin community has been arrogant and negligent in its behavior. That combined its belief in its own self importance and inability to deal with the mounting issues with its ecosystem....Hearn has given it a slap in the face to wake up. I don't think Bitcoin has seen the bottom yet and I believe there is MUCH MORE pain to come. If Hearn is correct that merely 2 Chinese miners own more then 50% of the blockchain, we haven't seen the bottom of Bitcoin. Sorry for those of you that exalt BTC...but when someone like me from the outside of BTC community reads whats going on....I cant help but feel the fall of BTC is yet to come. Mike hopefully gave the BTC community a much needed kick in the pants. Unfortunately the response from the BTC community has been the opposite and even threatening Mike Hearns life...I have no faith at the moment that anything will be accomplished in the short term...there needs to be a change of guard over there. I don't get how livecoin is selling at 15% higher price than elsewhere? Who is buying there when they can get Dash cheaper?
whats the info on livecoin anyway...inside scoop? I didn't really knew it existed until yesterday. I mean I had heard of it...but didn't think much of it. Now its pulling off huge numbers. One good effect is its going to drive traffic to the other exchanges if they can actually get it for cheaper else where like Polo. its like 10 to 15% cheaper coins. I'm making $1000s of dollars a day thanks to Livecoin/Polo arbitrage. This is a great opportunity that won't last forever! Buy cheap DASH on Polo, sell at Livecoin for BTC. Rinse and repeat!  In that I agree... It is strange. What's the delay time between deposit withdrawal? For example BTC deposit into Polo how long to clear? And how long to confirm from dash withdrawal on a Polo to deposit clearing on Livecoin? I'd do this more often with other currencies as well... But the lag time is annoying as he'll and not predictable... |

What do you think is the true value of Dash? $10, $15, $20, etc...
Right now, Dash doesn't have the customers it needs, so it's impossible to say. Dash is ready for the world, but the world still hasn't adopted the front runner much (bitcoin) let alone know about Dash. I know we have just begun to advertise ourselves, so that will help. So what is it worth? It's all speculation until adoption really starts to happen. If the general population starts to use us like they do Visa, probably $10,000 to $60,000 a coin. But that will take years. In the mean time, it could all fail but I highly doubt that's really possible, as I doubt Bitcoin can fail - it's just not able to be "the people's money" like Dash can, but with it's market cap, it can safely and quickly transfer large sums of money, thus it's very useful. So yah, no matter what, the true value of Dash today is speculative. But I'm surprised that Dash isn't already much higher than it is. I mean, It's the best only cash substitute out there as far as I can see. But don't take my opinion as facts, I'm very much a Dash cheerleader. I love this project. OK... Your view is obviously a much longer term view then mine. The danger is what has happened to BTC. Like it or not Mike is right on point about BTC. It's a disaster. 2 years ago people were thinking that BTC would be $10000 that looks unlikely since the romance is over. DASH is just as vulnerable to such a future if we don't implement safe guards to deal with those issues that have plagued BTC and any other yet unknown other variables. IMHO |

I suspect that with a great foundation team, a voting and funding mechnism that can also deal with governance, which BTC really can't, plus all the features like instantX and the new evolution features...its actually higher...$30 to $50 to start with as a base. PS. Certainly this would take time and provenance. |

This has happened twice...once in May of 2014 and March of 2015.  Well, except the May 2014 one was because of a guy running off with BTC he was accidentally credited with, he bought up all the available DarkCoin and sold it at Polo, so it was a huge pump and dump. And yah, I talked my son into buying in March last year. Frankly, I still think Dash is ridiculously low. A jump in price like this used to excite me, because I would feel like people were finally getting what Dash was all about, but now, I just cringe. It's just too much at once for my liking. I agree. Until cryptos become useful in everyday life... Pump n dumping and wild rides is our course. Dash has been low for a while, I think it should be more in the $5-7 range, maybe higher... hell, LTC is $3+ and they don't have a soda machine! (LTC also has 7x the supply) In reference to the other coins and their features, developers and how we sit in the matrix vs BTC $12 to $15 would be base, in my opinion . But this whole scene is fickle so who real knows it's true value till it's out in the world being used |

Its very sneaky of you the way you phrased it, "why not rebrand to something the new community and new owners/developers are excited about" to give a wrong impression about a long standing Dashcoin community with no changes of a kind that you are trying to indicate. DASH has given Dashcoin exposure and that is a positive thing for DSH. I just never understood why the vitriol DASH bashing. And in regards to Bitcoin...thats probably the one item here that needs the most amount of help with branding. Its certainly not positive in the real business world or in any world for that matter. In talking with my bankers and business associates, they are not happy that we associate ourselves with Bitcoin and crypto currancy in general...and not because we(crypto currency)are a threat to them...my banks regional business is equivalent to BTC's marketcap, we are looked as joke. What concerns them is the brand identity of BTC with nefarious activity. And that goes for 99% of the people I mention Bitcoin too....so a rebrand would probably help immensely . |

yeah...eeekkk. Its scary though, as we all know. I have a bunch of Qora and a few others out there on Polo and several other large of amounts of small cap coins stuck on cryptsy...maybe worth a couple of btc. |
