Your welcome sir, now lets get on with development topics . Is V12 still on scheduele to be released on Wednesday? I love that our devs are busy coding and not here bantering with dead heads like me. bigrcanada, I'm wondering when the "professional demeanor" starts?
Well....as you can imagine, some people are just fed up with being politically correct and all the shit spewing around. I find it all humorous myself. It seems most forums of ANY KIND on ANY TOPIC seems to be the domain of the mal-adjusted. Not sure why people, any people, find it necessary to be so obnoxious. But...I'm off to enjoy some sunshine and some open high-way....I think more people should do the same!

Smooth is a core-dev of a smaller competitor...
Smooth is indeed a core-dev... One with least professional attitude towards actual "development" I have ever seen. Instead of coding and hard work, he is posting on forums that have nothing to do with his project. Not even relevant important stuff, but actively going into other coin's threads and talking trash. just plain old rubbish marinated with poo-poo. That alone should give you a sense why "the other coin" is doing "so well". I believe trolling from ANY coin community is unacceptable, wither from us, xmr or anyone for that matter. Unfortunately that is the new culture of the internet, where people can talk trash behind a computer screens and not have to worry about getting their teeth knocked out and not face the music. Oh well...clearly that will never change now with the culture of tough talking keyboard peckers, so whats the point. I for one...have my address up and full name for anyone that wants to visit and go old school, and talk trash in person, we'll sort it out then. LoL in the mean I'm going out for a ride!

Bugs getting squashed on V12.....SOOOoooooo close to ready......
I feel bad I haven't been able to help with testing. I think I'll donate more funds for development to make up. I've been lurking and am getting excited. Thanks guys for all the hard work!

Do you imagine someone interested in Monero after hearing the Icetroller nonsense talk here? Do you imagine yourself working or investing in a currency that support people with this toxic behaviour?
Yes, some week ago Otoh sold all of his xmr because icetroller couldn't stop his shit. Otoh definitely wasn't the only one who sold his XMR a while ago. I have a lot of respect for the XMR dev team but apparently some XMR bagholders/supporters can't resist to constantly troll, bash, and show their hate towards other - also promising - projects. Call it weak hands but such behaviour really sickens me so a while ago I decided to sell all of it as well. I wonder how long it takes before those trolls start to realise they're doing nothing but destroy their own coin, way to go.. I've always supported other coins as well and am currently invested heavily in several....but I've stayed out of XMR for the reason that many of their members are so toxic. Im proud that DASH members seem to keep are far more professional demeanor then the XMR community in this regards. Though I will say....there may very well be many great community members there, but they would seem to be the silent majority if so. I would like to see their community members call out the toxic ones on their shameful behavior.

The reality about altcoin competition
You know what, thinking about it, I feel antagonizing with another project and tying your success or failure to what happens to a different project is deep down just an excuse to ignore the fact that no altcoin project is close to getting any meaningful adoption yet. Is easier to go to coinmarketcap.com as a measure of success and say we are in X place and we just went pass Y project. How does that matter? It does not, is just an excuse because the reality is no altcoin project is known in the real world in any substantial way and that is the real challenge for people that will never participate in crypto forums or invest in altcoin projects to at least know about other alternatives to BTC.
We should measure our success in that direction. Measure public awareness, adoption, accessibility to coins, partnerships and integration to services. Every 6 month or so we should ask ourselves:
1) Is public awareness of our project increasing? Are people more informed and understand better what we are doing? Do they know us more outside of the crypto circles?
2) Is adoption increasing? Are there more services and ways to use Dash for end users?
4) Are our added value features more robust and easy to use than they were 6 months ago?
5) Is it easier to buy coins with FIAT? Are there more vehicles for the public to get access to coins if they wanted to buy some?
We should revise progress on these questions every few months and our actions and energy should be directed to improving those performance indicators. Everything else and all the forum interaction between different altcoin camps is just a distraction and a big waste of time. This applies to all coins, it would be much more productive if we all faced reality and measure success in a way that matters instead of hiding behind coinmarketcap rankings that at this point in time mean nothing to any project other than Bitcoin.
Keep it real.
This has been my belief for a long time.

For all you Dash members....it should be obvious to many on here now that our several resident "trolls" are in fact major Dash holders/traders. The strategy is quite simple...and to avoid the howls from them saying to the contrary that is sure to come , I'm not saying much more. Bravo for keeping the tactic up...it shows commitment to your plan of trying to create small changes in currency value, knowing that Dash has constant high trading volume and a wide base of currency holders that makes this tactic work. If one looks at the history of Dash since say last June....these wanna be "trolls" have actually done quite well in profiting from these small cycles. bring on the denials and the howls and stomping of feet....but there is a core of us that know your game, that you're Dash holders and avid traders. We're watching....and I too have made some good money riding these cycles. But don't get a fat head now....certain that most of those cycles were not created by you, your not all that influential. LOL

Bitcoin's price is going down. This is the good chance to buy Dash.
Yup...I stopped trading there the minute I realized they were obviously too incompetent to change the trading name from darkcoin to dash! What rubbish. I'm frankly surprised it took this long to de-list, especially after all the emails we sent them. And yes...the History of the 9%....ooooohhhhh the travesty....LOL. Man...I'm off to actually buy more myself again...I'm holding off though to see if it goes lower

I too have been vexed.... And am trying to be civil in understanding IceBreaker aka Eduardo motivation here. I can see the odd comment every few months being thrown in.... But if one is to believe that this is the same individual behind the Hashfast-scam... I find this constant badgering to be incorrigible. I mean think of the irony and hypocrisy of his actions. I have real friends that where scammed and lost real money by this man's former company and he has the constant audacity to be here calling others scammers or even criminals. Unbelievable.

There are literately thousands of posts in this thread on this silly subject. Now just waiting for the usual trolls to pop up their heads and spew shit on here again.

bro, ANYONE can easily setup masternode, its not rocket science...if you can READ ... you can setup masternode!!!
i tested that theory with my n00bish wife who doesn't know squat ... she followed guide and voala, MASTERNODE started by my n00bish wife
so if you ...stuck, you can always come here and ask for assistance!
That's simply not true my friend. Several reputable and influential people in bitcoin world tried it, only to not succeed. It seems very subjective who gets to be masternode and who doesn't. What the are you talking about, subjective?!? Serioiusly.... ANYONE....ANYONE...with 1000DASH can set up a Masternode. Please explain exactly what you mean, because you obviously have ABOSOLUTELY NO CLUE on what a masternode is. Its open source....
