Do  we have a dmd rich list  yet?
In normal browsers blocks explorer has such an option. Unfortunately the current explorer Diamond has no such option...

:-)

So here is a response I got from Cryptsy on my DMD that has not shown up in my wallet....

"Hello Ron,

I do apologize for the delay, our agents are not closing your tickets. Since you have put multiple tickets in about the same issue they get merged together and one ticket stays open while the rest our closed. Currently there is no working DMD explorer to see what is going on with the network and bringing up the transaction of our withdrawal to you appears to be invalid. We are working to resolve this issue and get a working DMD block explorer to make sure transactions go out properly. Thank you for your patience while we look to find an explorer and resend the transaction.

Sincerely

Mark

Cryptsy.com"

Does a block explorer exist that they can check against or is that coming out soon?  I have tried the one supplied on the main site but it does not work for me.  I am a noob when it comes to explorers and am not really sure how all of it is made.  Any way I am now over 2 weeks out on my missing DMD's.  Very sad.  :-(

Can anyone tell me what kind of hash power you are getting on a Sapphire R9 290 Tri-x?  Also what is the power consumption when mining DMD's?  I am considering a few of those to go along with my 750 ti's.

Thanks.

750ti are superior in mining groestl algo performace per watt

i would consider a amd290 only if u plan use that GPU for games too

for pure mining invest in lot pci slots on multiple mainboards and fill em with 750ti

compare

20mhash @200watt amd290 = 10mhash per 100watt
8mhash @50watt gtx750ti = 16mhash per 100watt

thats 60% advantage in hash per watt performance for 750ti

Cryptonit - I have not seen 8mh/s on my 750 ti's.  What settings/miner are you using to get that?  If you don't mind me asking?

the highest price for 1 DMD on cryptsy was 0.00649899 BTC. Will DMD cost as well? Smiley

paladin stop being a drama queen Wink price goes up , price go down, nothing new. We are getting ready for the new release , Diamond's birthday is on 12th July, we'll see what happens Smiley until then watch some Football World Cup and relax Wink

That was a brutal Brazil vs. Germany game! Ouch...

I tried transferring some BTC to Mintpal then buying random coins and insta selling at a minor loss however I still can't vote.  Anyone know how many transactions need to take place before you can vote?  Also, has anyone had any luck getting their larger withdrawls from Cryptsy?  I am waiting now 11 days for 433 dmds.  :-(  Horrible response time from them with no updates.

I had the same problem, I did a few random trades /buy and sell/ not too many like 4-5 at most (minimal amounts) and it was enough to grant me voting right. Not sure what the exact criteria is. Keep trying and it will unlock itself eventually.

I have made withdrawal form Cryptsy a few thousand Diamonds I was buying over the months and all arrived quickly without any problems. 11 days is way too long. Check transaction ID if it's legit just like Cryptonit suggested.

Popshot - this is my transaction ID# a92ae34e2adfd55576feb2f5f387ec6946db5b8cc51923171f87aa848d452a9a - last time you checked and said it was confirmed multiple times.  I don't know how to check it however I never received it.  I am getting no response from the Cryptsy ticket desk - in fact I am getting my new tickets closed right away without any response at all.  I guess I lost my .15 BTC.  I would hold off on using Cryptsy for the time being.  LOL I was just about to sign up for the USD deposit method to buy more BTC.  I guess I will hold off on that one!

i stop pay for voting MINTPAL the new announcement they made leave to less time for us achieve it Sad
1st september isnt reachable to be top of list it would need some more weeks/months

and mintpal stop adding coins based on voting list at 1 september

Quote
mintpal page:
Important: Please be aware that we are phasing out the voting system. We have removed the option to make payment votes and will stop taking voting winners from 1st September onwards. The system will continue as normal until then.

They still need a way to choose which coins to add.
If they want to give a good service, they'll have to listen to the customers in some way.
We'll make sure diamond has its chance.

Just letting everyone know that as of today my purchase of 433 dmds from Cryptsy still hasn't shown up.  I keep getting a generic answer that the wallet is in maintenance mode.  It has now been 6 days with no resolution so I am not sure what is going on there.  I would not purchase or deposit from Cryptsy until we get confirmation otherwise.
1489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | NEW wallet, 50% POS Active on: June 30, 2014, 02:08:39 AM
I tried checking the trxID with no luck on the block explorer.  I also submitted a ticket to Cryptsy.   Just wondering if it is showing confirmed?
The weird part is that I did a small purchase of 32 dmds and was able to receive that with no problem.  Do you think some of the diamonds on cryptsy are on the wrong fork?  Would that be messing things up when you make a large purchase?

First of all first check as others instructed whether you are on the right chain by providing us with your latest checkpoint (type getcheckpoint in the console).

Cryptsy has most likely just one wallet for Diamond and the rest is managed by some smart accounting program. The 'coins' you see and trade on Cryptsy are not real 'coins' as these are just Cryptsy tokens. Only when you want to cash in from Cryptsy the 'real' coins are sent out. If people are able to get some coins out of Cryptsy then it should really  doesn't matter if the amount was small or big as your transaction forms a transaction block consisting of many transactions and they have specific weight limits (basically the same rules apply to small and big).
The transaction you provided has been confirmed over 2k times so really not sure where it might have gone.

Having some info from Cryptsy would be helpful. But... lets wait for the wallet fix to see if that helps.

Current Checkpoint is:
"synccheckpoint" : "000000005babbddb5baad7bb9632738ab901b2f9eb3acfd2f390b2f4a97f1eee",
"height" : 463183,

i send 43 DMD in cryptsy and these dont arrived in my account
ITs de Tix e7de04a854c9445ae0ebedcbb6e310b071fdc5dbe0de1a41c5e469958b76e70c
i dont understand the explorer
as I can tell if they came?

When I pasted the transaction ID you provided into the Block Crawler (http://dmdpool.digsys.bg/bc/block_crawler.php) it showed me that the transaction took place on June 28, 2014 at 01:48:11
and was confirmed 1513 times... so judging by that it should have arrived a long time ago.
However, things like that should be directly reported to Cryptsy really, as they should know for sure what's happening in their system.

Popshot - Would you please check this transaction ID.  I bought and withdrew theses diamonds as per the attached:

Diamond 433.85467256 DMD Yes 2014-06-28 16:47:49

Smiley

Just like polanskiman, porting blockchain doesn't really work, I tried various combinations but each time failed to make a difference. I'm afraid that anything other then a wallet fix won't cut it.

Having wallet either permanently opened or permanently closed seems to be the only way of not risking getting the error.

I agree with GiGa, that there is no point in hiding transactions such as in DRK. Popularity of Bitcoin for a wider market really took off after Silk Road bust when it stopped being associated with illegal trade.

Can some other person confirm that Cryptsy withdrawals work.. has anyone managed to deposit Diamonds there?

Popshot - I tested it this morning - I bought some diamond and sent it to my wallet with no problems.  I did not send diamond to cryptsy though.

Ok - I switched to the stratum server and all seems to be working fine on ccminer 1.2 - I will let you know if anything goes on there but so far so good.  Thank you kindly.

what hashrate u get?
most of all im interested in any gtx750ti groestl algo ratings with newest ccminer

maybe i exchange my 6x amd280 against 6x gtx750ti

to get some spare PSU wattage powering my asics (to be my own multipool with dmd payout Smiley )

Prior to this latest ccminer 1.1 update I was only getting 2mh per card.  Now I am getting 7mh per card.  What an amazing increase.  I use approximately 70-80 watts total per card.

Does anyone know of any other Diamond pools I can use as a back up that are good?

You can also use a miner that supports stratum.  I've been using one to access Danbi's stratum server instead of the http server.

On a side note, when pushpool was dead, the pool luck increased -- it is perhaps because pushpool (getwork) cannot get proper feedback in real time from the wallet that a new block was found on the network. Thus more hashrate is wasted than necessary.

It also seems that Chris&Chris added Diamond support to ccminer, so it should be possible to use that with stratum and nVidia hardware as well. Anyone there tested it? (I don't have nVidia hardware myself)

I am currently using ccminer 1.2 with support for dmd-gr.   The settings I run are:
ccminer35-50.exe -a dmd-gr -o http://dmdpool.digsys.bg:3345 -u xxx.xxx -p x  --no-stratum --no-longpoll

I will try messing around with the stratum settings.

Hello Danbi - There seems to be something wrong with the site again.  I mined all day to come home and find connection errors again.  Is it the same problem?  Please advise.  Pretty much the same error still - HTTP: request failed - etc.

Thanks in advance.

I don't see any problem with the pool. What connect string are you using? I see worker name similar to your name using pushpool and submitting shares. Is it ok now?

It might be some kind of connectivity issue. Could you please record the error next time and post it? Thanks!

Good morning Danbi - all seems to be working again now.  I only have Nvidia 750ti's.  I have tried the stratum settings and get nothing but "booo's" when I use stratum.  Pushpool seems to be the only thing working for me.  I will record the error when it happens again.  Thanks.

Good morning.  Does anyone know what is going on with Danbi's pool?  I have been mining there for weeks with no issue.  However I came home last night to disconnect errors.  Now all I get is "json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds, HTTP request failed: Failed connect to dmdpool.digsys.bg:3345; No error"  Am I missing something all of a sudden?

I was away for a while, but in any case, if it was any kind of DDoS, I would learn about it (the servers hosting the pool have 24 hour support staff). It might have been some software hiccup, which I am investigating now. Anyway, the pool seems to function normally.

Danbi,

Thanks for the response.  Ok - I do not know what has changed because I still cannot connect to your pool.  I am a 750ti Nvidia user.  I use ccminer 1.1 with this configuration:
ccminer35-50.exe -a groestl -o http://dmdpool.digsys.bg:3345 -u ***.*** -p *  --no-stratum --no-longpoll

If you have any clue at all why I can't connect please let me know.  There is the same as what is listed above.  I have rebooted, reset my router, and renewed my ip address all with no luck.  Solo mining is working so I am not sure where I am wrong.

It is normal you could not connect. The reason is that the pushpool server has crashed. At about midnight GMT 15 June. Did I mention all of this software is way too buggy....

Anyway, it is running now.

Hello all - I have a basic staking/minting question.  When the POS kicks in do I manually have to do anything to stake/mint or does it happen automatically?  And then once it does stake/mint do I need to do something to make it happen again or is it also automatic every 30 days or so?  Is there any good reading material on how this whole thing works or can someone explain it please?

Thank you in advance.   Smiley
