This is a reminder that the auction has less then 5 hours to go... Dont get outbid on This first issue #1 Proof Print..

Thanks to Bithalo's recommendation and Amazon Prime 2 day shipping, All 10 of the Proof prints will come in an Ultra Pro protector ...

Guess that means I get a free Artist Proof.   j/k

These bad boys will have more security measures than anything else out there.
1143  Economy / Collectibles / Re: CANCELLED - Pre-Order - 5oz .999 Fine Silver Bitcoin Bar on: May 15, 2015, 08:43:32 PM
Sorry to hear it didn't take off as planned Sad

That's quite alright, thank you. Just trying to meet market demand and it just is't there for this particular product and price point at this time. I am putting together a 5" bullion bar alternative now that will be a plated piece like the Ether and DRK coins. Will be bigger and less expensive but a larger batch. Will see if we can hit the nerve of interest with more community members Smiley

New thread coming soon...

Looking forward to that.  Lets hope this works out.

Refund received.

Thank you for trying to do this project.

Ultra pro and others make 8.5 x 11 interior hard plastic toploaders.

As long as it's not a tight fitting case... the 2 embossed seals at the bottom might get squeezed flat... I have run embossed paper through the laser printer and the outcome is not pretty at all...

They're not too tight.  When I use similar ones for baseball / collectible gaming cards, I often put the card inside a sleeve first.  I'll let you know how it turns out if I win an auction.  I have a couple extras ready to use.

Are the regular 100 edition going to have hand done UV effects like in the Artist Proof?

If the shiba was mirrored then would I be all over this coin... Wink

However I do recognize that double funding or no funding counts as an error. Nevertheless, the increase of premium for such an error, is hard to set a price on, I think the best way to find out is to make an auction.

Thanks for a different point of view. coin will be on auction this weekend, probably will last a week long  Smiley

All it takes is a buyer to not contact the maker that he received his coin, and it likely won't get funded.  I'm sure there are coins out there like that because the buyer assumed they come pre-funded.  Many makers wait for you to contact them of receipt of the coin.

I wouldn't call this an error.

Is there an address generator for Ethereum coins?
1152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the oldest/youngest BTCer you know? on: May 11, 2015, 11:43:45 AM
My son is 6, and I give him physical bitcoins instead of fiat for the tooth fairy.  He looks forward to them, and is trying to find ways to remove his loose teeth to get more bitcoins

When I get packages sent overseas to me in the US, my stuff seems to stay stuck in customs for up to a month.  Thankfully there's no VAT or fees to pay.

A month? oh dear...Usually takes a few days here, but until the mail man rings at the door, you never know if there is VAT to be paid.

If something is sent Express, then its usually 1-2 days in customs.  But if sent a slower method, it can takes weeks to a month stuck there.  Often it takes a month to receive the item.

even though it is an unfunded coin, there is the grbox2001 physical bitcoin that you have missed on the list?

edit: I'm still gonna snap a pic of the bitcoincard.de card when I get a chance Smiley

Thanks for mentioning that.  I don't collect coins without a private key stored.  There's a bunch on ebay like that which I don't collect.

I look forward to seeing the card.

OT:
Nice collection you have there bithalo, can't help you out, I have decimated my collection to a few of the brands you have on the list, to concentrate purely on them Smiley

Thanks TookDk

Hey guys.. How much would a Casascius St. Pietersburg 2014 coin cost? I am looking to sell mine.

I'll let others chime in, but I think roughly .5 to .6 BTC.   IIRC they were $100 retail, and I believe they are sold out.
