Can we extend the time to pay? I want this, but don't have the BTC currently, and I'm planning on selling coins soon.

Personally I thought the auction was too long as it was.  Almost 2 mths.

Sorry..I misunderstood that you wanted to extend the auction itself.  Never mind my above comment

I would like to bid , but it is  expensive for me . I'm only watching who will win.

Agreed.  Beautiful coin, but too rich for my blood.  The 15 BTC auction went without a bidder both here and litecointalk IIRC.  I'd be very surprised if someone bids 18 BTC for this considering its not a #1 and they could have bought one then for less.

To the OP..if you lower your prices for these considerably, I have no doubt they will sell better.  Its a gorgeous coin that many have stated.

TitanBTC sells gold coins for about $475 premium, but these are give or take 6 BTC extra after taking away the gold and BTC value.  Coupled with the fact that not everyone has 18 BTC they are willing or able to spend.  The physical coin market isnt that hot either at the moment.

Maybe he will cut a deal if I buy a roll? You guys want to do a small group buy? I would like a few of these for sure.

I would have, but already preordered one.

To the OP...assuming you're the real deal, I wish you good luck on your project.  Depending on how much support it gets, I will fund it as well.

I agree with AT101ET...I will only buy at startjoin regarding this project.

BTW...I was the one who mentioned it on startjoin about the other poster, scamming people.  I personally got scammed for both an alloy and supposed gold plated set.

Looks quite nice. Can you please post a link to the item page? Thanks

If you dont want to go the ebay route, I believe this is their official seller.  Its on preorder

I'll take one of these.  Prefer the lowest number available, if these have serial numbers.  Kindly send me a PM with payment info.

A few questions:

1. How many are being made?
2. When will these be physically in stock?  I'm assuming some time in 2015.
3. Are these numbered on the coin or some certificate?
4. Is this a custom designed or generic hologram?
5. Can you tell us a little about yourself for those of us who dont know you or your company?

Thanks

I would be happy to answer your questions.

1. There will be only 1000 coins in circulation.
2. These are due to be in stock jan 2015
3. The coins are not numbered but come with certification.
4. The hologram is generic, we were opting for custom but could not meet the funding for it.
5. I am an irish based cryptocurrency enthusiast. i have also recently held a crowdfund for startcoin crypto bullion which will also be available in jan of 2015. i will upload some pictures shortly of my startcoin project.

Will send you a PM right away.

Thanks for the information.  Since these arent numbered, and the mintage is high enough, I'm going to wait until these are in stock or closer to that time.  I'll get one then.

Best of luck with your project.

1395  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTS ANACS GRADED COINOGRAPHIC LITECOINS on: November 21, 2014, 01:33:14 AM
I like coinographic's coins, but he made a mistake by not having the LTC address visible on each and every coin.  There is no way for any of us to confirm that the coin you're selling us is still loaded.  Coinographic sells replacement holograms.  How hard would it be for someone to purchase a dozen coins, redeem half of them, put a new sticker on the back, slab it and sell it as if it's fully funded?  I'm not saying you would do this, but the fact is there's no way to guarantee the balance of any of these coins.

I agree that I would like the public address on the coin itself.

But as far as the holograms, I didnt think there were spare original holos available.  The extra holos you can get say 'Buyer Funded', so you know if you see this, the coin has been changed.

I feel like these are being given away considering how rare they are.  Only 25 made each.

Sad to think what I paid for one set before these auctions started.
I have the same feeling. I paid .25BTC more per coin that you as well Sad and I bought ther in hopes to recover my losses from previous purchases  Embarrassed ah well.

Are you sending them off to be graded? These are beautiful coins that should increase in value by the time the next series is released in early 2015.

I cant speak for miffman, but I'm not sending in my two antique sets.  I personally only get Casascius coins graded at the moment.

Hi, are you interested in buying votes for the competition you have entered?
I can give you 32 votes in total - all active member accounts and higher.
PM me if interested.

Sorry I was not insinuating about you, i was supposed to press reply - not quote!

Thanks for clearing up my confusion.  No worries!

I also echo your sentiment.  I wish people would vote for the best designs, and not for who is buying the most votes.  Its doing a disservice to the community and to these contests.  I only care to see the best design win, in order to buy the nicest looking coin.  Coinographic does great work and gives the community the chance to have an input in them, and I feel like many people let greed get in the way.   Sad

I especially loved your 5 BTC gold design.  Would have loved to see that one again.
I thought about it, but I wanted to challenge myself so I went a little outside my comfort zone.

Thanks for the kind words and the vote!

You're welcome.  I think you do great designs, and I'd love to see your earlier 5 BTC gold design show up in production somewhere.
