102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does this make any sense? on: June 04, 2021, 08:34:32 PM
Crypto experts in the house please your attention is very needed right now, does it even make any sense to burn of tokens max supply gradually when the token or project have not been listed on exchanges? Does this make any sense?? Thanks

Token burn can come in different angles, that is, some project team burns tokens after their ICO, in this case, any unsold token left during the ICO is burnt thus reducing the supply, after which listing on exchanges takes place. On the other hand, some project team burn their tokens when already listed on exchanges to reduce the total supply while increasing the price.
However, burning a token when not listed on exchanges and when it is also clear the team didn't have any ICO do not really make sense on one hand as they should have set a total supply from the on set, but on the other hand, the team might have found out that in order to achieve their aim, then it will be worth it to burn off some tokens to reduce supply, in this case a better explanation will be made to the community.
In all ramifications, the essence of token burn is to have good token price, so if the team decides to do so before listing, I think it shouldn't be a problem so far they have a clear explanation on why they are doing so.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Want Tesla To Accept Doge? on: June 04, 2021, 08:24:55 PM
Crypto is a very huge industry which comprises of many calibre of people, so what I know is, a time will come when less attention will be paid to Musk and it is getting close. It is understandable he is supporting Doge coin and it is also clear he wouldn't be doing that without having a personal gain, also asking if Tesla should accept Doge coin is as usual a means to pump the price  but the reverse was the case.
To be sincere, I think Tesla can accept Doge without even asking for the opinion of the community moreover he has been supporting it, so it shouldn't be a huge task if he really want to.
People should get this, that everyone is looking for ways to make profit including him hence the reason for the tweets once in a while.
Nevertheless, it will also be good if Tesla starts accepting Doge as well as declare support for Doge then it can be seen as a big win for the entire crypto space as more attention will be paid to this space.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are MEME Coins A NEW Trend on: June 04, 2021, 08:17:16 PM
Starting with your title, if you are just knowing that now, that means you are knowing about it late. I think the trend started the time when Elon musk started supporting Doge coin, and since developers do not play with opportunities they swung into action and that lead to countless of them being developed.
Also, I can't really say they are bad for the industry because those developers are just building what they think will work and it kinda worked (maybe to an extent), it also paved way for a lot of people to join at the same time throwing more light on the world of cryptocurrencies, of which at this juncture many people (mostly newbies) will be able to differentiate between good coins and shitcoins.
Lastly, just as a lot of people made money from them, a lot also couldn't, thus going back to the main thing people have been saying which is, invest in good coins and relax as they will always last long term. Not also bad investing the profits from MEME coins into good coins.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which best Altcoins to buy & HODL for some months on: June 03, 2021, 09:08:10 PM
To be Frank, Doge is one hell of a coin, with a little Twitter post, it starts flying, well in as much as that will likely continue it can also come to an end, and then what next? So my simple opinion is, go for those coins or tokens whose team are not slowing down for any reason, whose team are always working hard to make sure there is a good growth within their platform. BNB, DOT, CAKE are good, also with NFT going to be next trend/hype you may want to look into some of them.
Most importantly, always know that crypto investing comes with risks, therefore ensure to use your spare funds and not your life savings. In the same way, endeavour to hold in your private wallets for more security.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 10x projects picked for 2021 on: June 03, 2021, 08:59:01 PM
I like the way you didn't fail to attach the disclaimer that people should also and always make their own research before investing. The truth is, this bull run broke many protocols, set surprises, it pushed many coins to a new ATH, both those with good use case and those without. Nevertheless, thanks for the list, already holding some of them like UNI and TRX, now talking about UNI I think $200 is kind of too much a prediction, the difference between your prediction and the ATH is a big one, if the bull run continues $50 could be realistic not raising my hopes high.
Lastly, in my opinion, BNB and CAKE are also good to look into.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin listed on Coinbase pro on: June 03, 2021, 08:51:38 PM
The once Shitcoin is now making massive waves more than most legit project. It is even listing on top exchanges more than a lot of projects can ever think of, hence showing that this crypto space is full of surprises wherein one will have huge hope on a particular coin thinking it will do wonders but ends up falling at the other hand, some coins you didn't consider good enough just took the crypto space by surprise.
To be frank, Doge coin casted a lot of light on most projects like SHIB and its likes and today, they are all listed on most top exchanges.
In the same way, influence also plays a huge role, as it as Musk's influence that pushed Doge forward and in some sort of way, Vitalik threw more light on SHIB. Nevertheless, happy for Doge coin holders.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How true is this? on: June 02, 2021, 10:07:46 PM
If you don't hype your platform or project, no one will do so for you, that is to say, you need to say and do whatever it takes to create hype within your project. Looking at that whitepaper or post, the team knew exactly what they are doing and they knows that, once the information is channeled through the right path, it creates hype which in turn leads to price increase of their token.
Answering your question, of course it is not true as there are experts before him but owing to the significance of what is on ground, the needful was done. The Bittorrent he contributed to its growth, where is it now?. Not much is being heard about it.
Lastly, if you are investing in such projects, although it might look good at what the team offers but yet doing your due diligence and investing with what you can afford to lose is the best way to go about crypto investing.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are some of these PancakeSwap tokens getting such a large following? on: June 02, 2021, 09:57:20 PM
Of course there are many projects on Pancakeswap, but don't get carried away as there are also scam projects. Talking about their large number of followers; nowadays it is easy as most of them always organize an airdrop before launching and of course some of the tasks is joining on Telegram through which they grow their group and following on twitter thus growing as well. Some can even go as far as asking participants to follow on other social media channels like Facebook and instagram.
Furthermore, you should also know that, most of those projects buys their twitter account, this I think is true because I once saw a project which claimed to be a new one but the twitter account shows another thing (2 years back).
Therefore I think the main issue should be looking towards the project to understand what they offers and not the number of followers.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge is to hold should not be trading on: June 02, 2021, 09:50:05 PM
Don't get too carried away, most of those people who you see hyping one coin or the other always put their interests first before any other thing, they do not care about what you have to say, they only care about what their pockets or wallets have to say. If you have noticed, Doge coin can be said to have no use case which can cause it to grow in price, but once a tweet is made about it, it starts pumping. The question now is, what if those hyping it decides to move to another which they can scoop from, won't they find ways to hype it as well and what will become of Doge coin?
Just follow the trend but don't get carried away, good coins will always be good coins, and they will always grow as a result of their use case.
Lastly, any coin can be traded, most people believes it's better to trade a coin other than to hold it, and vice versa.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats going on in Binance Smart Chain? on: June 01, 2021, 10:09:43 PM
First it was pancakeswap, venus, bunnyswap, now it is burgerswap and juld. What's going on?I know blockchains are vulnerable and all. But I noticed that the Binnace Smart Chain has been under severe attacks recently. Is it because of low number of validators leading faster transactions or what?

Although Binance Smart Chain (BSC) boost of low gas fees, but it looks like the network or rather most of the projects are yet to boost of improved security. Also, since the BSC network is still upcoming unlike that of Ethereum, I believe with more work and more improvements they will stand firm; what those project team ought to do now is to leverage on their weaknesses and improve on their platforms in order to prevent any sort of attacks again. Moreover, I noticed most of these attacks are flashloans, that is to say, those hackers are seeing loopholes in those projects which they are leveraging on to attack them, therefore let those projects team work hard and look for more better ways to protect themselves.
Lastly, investors needs to be careful of most of these BSC projects because the team can steal and then claim they are being attacked thus using that opportunity to abandon the project. But however, if one look at most of the platforms which were attacked, the team are still working and looking for more ways to continue developing without giving up, that to an extent shows a dedicated team.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is best Altcoin to buy now on: June 01, 2021, 09:53:33 PM
To be frank looking at the market now, there are many sentiments, emotions, manipulations and so on, therefore choosing or suggesting a project for someone might be a tough or hard one. Therefore in my own opinion, in situations like this, one can go for top or prominent projects or altcoins which have the potential to grow fast once the market normalises, and such altcoins are ETH, BNB, ADA, DOT. Also, if one want to flow with the trend in the crypto space, then looking towards NFT projects can be a good idea, in this case checking those NFT projects with good team and good use case as they might stand a better chance at growing even more with the forthcoming hype that will surround them (if all goes well), most especially now Binance is looking towards having their own NFT marketplace soon.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Gas Fees Drop on: June 01, 2021, 09:36:26 PM
When a team of a project means well for their users, community and of course the future of the project, they will do everything within their power to ensure all challenges are taken care of; this is truthfully the nature of Ethereum team. I did transactions fee days ago and was surprised at the gas fee I used.
Also, this changes in gas fees shows that the team are not relenting and of course working on making Ethereum blockchain better and the point of attraction. In the same way, once the team gets this right by further making sure the gas fees drops even more, then most blockchains won't have any reason to say most things about Ethereum because it's clear their point of contention is gas fees, so if that is taken care of, what else?
More good things are coming to Ethereum, it's just a matter of time.

119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin prices are INSANE on: May 08, 2021, 06:20:19 PM
Most times I don't think insane prices can be removed or can be far from hype, that is, in other words hype gives rise to insane prices of cryptocurrencies; both goes hand in hand and also, the insane prices witnessed on a particular crypto is dependent on how big and massive the hype is.
It is true that looking at Dogecoin, it all started as a joke, no one saw anything good in it other than to have fun, but today it is sitting comfortably on the third position after flipping a lot of good and trusted coins, and even challenging Binance Coin as it seems, all these doesn't look sane but who cares, many people are just after the money.
Also, asking when Dogecoin hype will fade, I don't think anyone can answer that question correctly because the more it looks as if it's fading, the more it keeps pushing higher, at this juncture, it's either you overlook it and focus on other coins or you just take the risk with whatever you can afford to lose and buy. But in my opinion, as Doge has reached this height, falling badly might be far from it, and if any platform or organisation whatsoever tries to adopt it for whatsoever reason (none that I know of currently), then that will show another around of long term growth.
