You are right with what you stated. When a project that had a successful sale starts giving excuses why they are yet to launch a reasonable service or product then something is wrong. There are many projects last year with that excuses and the funny thing is, till now they are yet to update the community on what they have actually achieved all this while.
A good project will always update its community with their progress while showing products and services achieved not giving excuses.

This is true because I have seen most projects which did it and was able to control dumping to a certain extent. I think when rightly done on intervals it will make the price of a project valuable. Nevertheless, buyback programs should be duly checked, that is the project doing such and if they really had a successful Public sale; as it can also be used to lure Investors.

Well your friends are entitled to their opinions, let's assume the project didn't go well they will blame you right. It is good to introduce to them but don't convince them, let them convince themselves as it will save you a lot of headaches.

IEO stands for Initial Exchange Offering. Owing to the inefficiencies in ICOs (Initial Coin Offering) IEO was created as a better alternative and since then have being living up to expectations. Also, IEO is done in exchanges thus reducing scam rate while setting processes to participate in any IEO within that exchange; that is, the IEO process in Binance might be different from that in Bitforex.

No it is not possible, you can only do one at a time; that is you can either go for IEO or ICO. As this stage, I don't think ICOs are worth it again as no team is willing to take that path rather IEO proves to a better choice.

In my own opinion I think IEOs is the future although there might come a time where it will be overtaken by another. One thing is that IEOs to a greater extent offers good security unlike ICOs that keeps investors at the edge. That's true, most of these airdrop forms are just to steal email addresses which they either sell or use for promotion. Some also, deceive users into joining their Telegram groups thus changing it thereafter. It's always wise we verify most of these forms before filling them.

Although you have a point but I do not concur with all you said. Even during ICOs there are investors who fails to make their research thus participating in bad ICOs. Same is with IEOs, we shouldn't throw caution to the wind because it is being done on exchanges anyone doing that is left to blame.

This year has already gone half yet I have hardly heard about any project conducting ICOs all are now into IEOs. However, if ICOs should come up again I doubt if I will partake because I had bitter experiences with it. IEOs to me, offers a more better funds security.

Well, ICOs had their time from which most projects developed good products and others scam investors. The truth is many of ICO projects scam investors, yet to list nor showcase any good products thus the reason why IEO is over shadowing the entire market. In IEOs, there is no need to worry about listing nor scam unlike in ICO.
