181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DogeCoin Selling on: January 29, 2021, 08:13:40 PM
Hi Guys, a few years ago I bought some dogecoin and as you probably know its going up in price. However I have no idea how to trade it even if I wanted to. I have it in a wallet on dogechain, and I was just wondering how would I move my dogecoin from my wallet here to trade it for bitcoin or cash. Smiley Thanks , Nades

Dogecoin is one of the old coins which has been trading on many exchanges for a long time. You can get started by visiting coinmarketcap, search Dogecoin and check the exchanges it is trading on, but personally I would suggest you trade it on Binance.
Now to trade on Binance, first create an account with your email or phone number as the case may be, confirm the registration and set up Google authenticator (2FA) in order to protect your account from theft. For easy access, download the Binance mobile app, and login thereafter, then goto your fund section, search for Dogecoin, and click on deposit to get the deposit address, then copy it. With the deposit address, head to your wallet and transfer the Dogecoin to the wallet address you copied from Binance.
Once the deposit is successful, this you will know by email, then open your Binance mobile application, go to fund section and you will see the Dogecoin, click on it and select the trading pair you want that is, Doge/BTC and so on, click on the trading pair, fill in the amount you want to sell and place the order, when it executes you will have Bitcoin.
In some other exchanges, it is almost the same process, you just have to follow it slow and steady, and get the hang of it.

183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reclaim lost funds on: January 28, 2021, 07:53:34 PM
What will actually show you the way ahead from this is by importing the wallet to another wallet application to make sure the problem is not from Jaxx. But first, you will need to get the wallet address, then scan it on etherscan to check if there is any ETH in the wallet, if there is ETH in the wallet, then that means you will need to go ahead to import in another wallet application, but if there is no ETH, then it means you might have made a mistake somewhere and can't remember how since it's being a long time. Therefore, assuming after scanning the wallet on etherscan and it shows there is ETH in it, then import the wallet to wallet applications like Trust wallet or Imtoken wallet or Coinomi, then you will see your ETH. But if for some obvious reasons you didn't see any ETH, check the wallet address of the wallet you imported and compare with the one you scanned on etherscan to be sure you imported the correct wallet.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SOVI Finance - your opinion? on: January 28, 2021, 06:28:38 PM
A decentralized finance platform from the look of things, and with a game features among others, well that might look good but the question of course will be, what will make it last longer or what will make it more attractive than other platforms, because just like you pointed out, " reshapes Dego 2.0 version"; Dego is already out there and have been active for quite a long time but this is a new platform, that means the team might have something that will make them better than Dego in that aspect, the issue might be knowing if truly they will.
Nevertheless, just like every other upcoming project, before getting involved, overlook whatever they team are saying but focus on their eagerness to bring good products and services to the crypto space, through knowing more about their ideas and if it is one that will really work and so on. On the other hand, NFT is slowing making noise nowadays, and I think people are still waiting on the platform that will add more to it, maybe this platform will or maybe not, until the team starts working on it, then we will know.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some DeFi Gems To Watchout For in 2021 on: January 28, 2021, 06:07:06 PM
From the look of things, it's quite true that many upcoming projects are looking in the DeFi ecosystem in other to bring decentralized finance, but also we should try and understand that not all will make it in the long run, many will just be around for a while, some will turn to pump and dump and others will just be dead sooner than later, however only few that have what it takes and knows what it means to be a DeFi project will make it big at the end, and we are already seeing that in many top Defi projects. Also, it is true that many upcoming DeFi projects will turn out good, hence the need to take out time and understand what majority of them  are actually working on and aiming to achieve.
I don't know about all majority of these aforementioned DeFi projects, but whichever you want to invest in, do well to carry out your own research, know the team's experience and their long term goals towards to growth of the platform, and also know how engaging and supportive the community is. Nevertheless, Reef looks like a good one, but I will need to do more study on it.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for a Billion max supply capped altcoin to reach $100? on: January 27, 2021, 09:14:28 PM
I have not seen any altcoin like that before, and if you check, most altcoins with higher prices like the $100 mentioned are altcoins with very low maximum supply and those with a billion supply will hardly reach such price. However, it can also happen but will be on a very rare cases, that is, if a group of whales just decides to focus on a particular billion supply coin and pump it as much as they can, but I doubt if it will reach to that price but maybe half of it, nevertheless, such cases will also be deadly, because the dump will be worst.
Also, if XRP which is among the top altcoin is yet to reach $10 let alone such price like $100, then I think there will be no altcoin with a Billion maximum supply that will reach such target.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Tokens on: January 27, 2021, 08:51:03 PM
Hello guys, I'm on a low budget right now and looking for Tokens/Crypto that would be really good to invest on. Recently, I was looking for DeFi tokens and kept my eye on Fantom and SushiSwap. But right now, I think I can afford and buy more Fantom once the price got lower.

Do you still have other suggestions or ideas that you think might work on investing DeFi tokens? What are the good DeFi tokens that you think that would be profitable in the next few years?

Since you are looking towards next few years, then I think Dex tokens like UNI is a good one. Reason is that, UNI is from Uniswap which you already know and that exchange has turned out great and I won't be mistaken for saying that it is the best decentralized exchange currently. Now bringing that idea of the best decentralized exchange means that, Uniswap will try their best to maintain their token growth and this of course will lead to more value. Also, comparing the price before and the price now, it is clear that the token is highly valuable now and doesn't look like the team is slowing down anytime soon. 1inch is another that looks good but, UNI is more better in my own opinion.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Share your thoughts on Polkadot Parachain auction on: January 27, 2021, 08:31:36 PM
It is really good that Polkadot is making great moves which is attracting more users and projects, but we have seen such moves before and many of those projects still didn't overtake Ethereum, but however there is every tendency this time around will be different, thus I see it as a good thing and might really compel the Ethereum team to work hard in order to retain their spot because looking at the entire crypto space, it is clear many projects are out to bring in innovative solutions. Talking about Polkadot projects, I am yet to pay attention to any of them, because I am still interested or highly attached to the current market, however  I have heard quite a lot about Equilibrium from friends and maybe I will start by researching on it.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins for data storage who knows what projects? on: January 26, 2021, 08:08:10 PM
I think the problem is that, many of these projects claims to be decentralized and from the way they operate, shows there is no iota of decentralization rather the team using decentralization aspects to get their aims. Also, the overwhelming number of new projects which poses to be decentralized has in one way or the other overshadowed the ones that are in fact decentralized, at least as it stands the most decentralized altcoin platform is Ethereum.
Nevertheless, I can't remember a lot of decentralized data storage platforms, just few and that is, Swarm, Filecoin and Sia, you can check coinmarketcap or Coingecko to know where to buy.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take Advantage ,, on: January 26, 2021, 07:51:21 PM
When altcoins dumps in price which in some cases like the current market, it can be seen as price correction, when such happens, buying can also be good but you will need to be careful of the type of altcoin you indulge in. However, before taking such steps, you will need to decide how long you will hold, that is, if you are anticipating long term, then you it will be wise to wait for more time for it to dump then you can buy but if you are just for the short term profit, then once the price correction takes place you can buy, at the same time, if you are a risk taker and you believe in the coin, you can buy at current price and know when to exit, even if it is with little profit (but it's risky though).
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano (ADA) coin hit $10 During 2021? on: January 25, 2021, 09:34:54 AM
First no one can predict this market with confidence, those who did later resorted to saying "always make your own research" when everything must have went differently while some never said anything about it again.
Secondly, there is no doubt, ADA is a very good coin and also one of the altcoins I am holding because of the idea within the platform and the team, but I can't allow that to blind my judgement thus forgetting that the crypto space is highly volatile and can never be predicted, with this, I can always invest my spare and not because of predictions.
On the other hand, the All Time High was $1.33 (according to coinmarketcap) and that was 3 years ago while the current price is $0.3538, that is quite a difference thus saying that it will get to $10 this year with confidence is too much to predict and doesn't look realistic, maybe surpassing its ATH will be a great achievement but for now, let's not have false hopes.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be aware about arbitrage on: January 25, 2021, 09:12:27 AM
That is true, there is always a reason for the spread and thus the reason to also understand why there is such a big/small difference in price. In some case scenarios, it could be suspended withdrawal, or suspended deposit maybe due to platform upgrade or exchange maintenance, therefore the reason most times arbitrage hardly works, but when you see a good one and everything falls in place, then it's worth the risk. Another thing is, carrying out the arbitrage with good coins is very important, such that, if in the cause of things the price dumps, then owing to the team's efforts and hard work, it will pump back again later on, or you can still sell at a little loss depending on what you want.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Celebrity Rapper "Soulja Boy" tries to buy XRP on Coinbase, but guess what? on: January 24, 2021, 07:47:10 PM
"Trading is not supported for this asset" is quite enough to explain that you can't buy that asset from that exchange and I think Coinbase is yet to fully stop supporting XRP maybe they are still giving users the opportunity to withdraw. Also, assuming he doesn't get the message, then it means he isn't highly informed on what's happening with XRP, and I doubt if he will still continue when he comes in light of XRP case with SEC, hence a very good reason to be always informed or make findings before investing in cryptocurrencies so that you don't end up losing.
On the other side, talking about hyping it, you might be correct because I don't think someone of such height won't know what's happening, however, I don't think that will work because many people are not ready to take that type of risk with XRP when they don't know what will be the outcome of the case.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: You can lose transfering and withdrawing on: January 24, 2021, 07:33:03 PM
You can lose profit sending trading and withdrawing if you are trading a small amount I have $50 worth of Ferum or FRM it will take $6 to send the whole amount to Bilaxy and after you trade it to Eth and wants to withdraw it you will have to spend $12 to withdraw your Eth,
now that's $18 gas fees for your $50, my only option is to trade it to other altcoins like DGB or Litecoin which offer $4 to $5 fee you still going to lose $11, that's over 20%.

It is quite understandable that Ethereum gas fee is high but sometimes it can be low as well, therefore when you meet a high gas fee and you aren't in haste to transfer or sell, then give it time and try again after some time, you might even be surprised to see it at a very cheaper fee. Also, when you trade on an exchange and/or rather before trading a token on an exchange, try to compare the exchanges it is trading on and check if the exchange support USDT withdrawal through Tron blockchain, then trade your token against USDT and withdraw with little to no fee, thus from all things, you are only paying very little unlike when you withdraw with Ethereum.
In the case of Ferrum Network (FRM), it is trading on exchanges like BitMax and Kucoin with decent volume, and to the best of my knowledge, Kucoin supports USDT-TRC20, thus you can sell your Ferrum to USDT, then withdraw.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT, is it a fad or is there more to it? on: January 24, 2021, 07:21:12 PM
When most people say the crypto space moves with trend or have different trends, they tend to say the truth, currently we have seen a lot from DeFi and now, NFT. NFT is gradually getting attention and sooner than later it might be the next trend in the crypto space, what it just need is some kind of hype and thats it, it will bloom. Talking about NFT, I am yet to pay huge attention on it, because more of its use case is yet to be fully furnished, but the art aspect of it is gradually getting attention, and I think it is what is bringing NFT to people's attention now. Therefore, in my own opinion and although I might be mistaken, I think the appeal of NFT is to bring art and blockchain together in such a way that it will be unique and maybe contribute positively to the crypto space other than being seen as a means to earn only.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exodus Wallet - Secure Backup? on: January 23, 2021, 09:23:02 AM
Always download your wallet applications, softwares or files from the right website, that's the first step in getting secured. Once that is done, then create a wallet and most importantly keep your backup details securely, that is the 12 words you wrote down, therefore in as much as the 12 words are safe you have nothing to worry about and even if the team decides to shut down their platform, you can easily import your wallet to other wallet applications and recover your assets, therefore in simpler words, your 12 words or commonly called mnemonic phrases gives you the right to control your assets the way you want.
I don't think there is any particular way to back up your assets separately, that is, in as much as you created a wallet, got the 12 words and got the wallet address from various assets like ETH, BTC and so on, they all will be contained within that particular wallet, therefore once imported in another wallet all will be accessed easily.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why difference in Transaction fees on: January 23, 2021, 09:05:13 AM
I think to understand this, let's go from the case of exchanges, many exchanges have different withdrawal fees for the same token, that is to say, they add theirs to the fees in order to keep the exchange running. Therefore, when sending tokens from different personal wallets, there is very tendency that the transaction fees will vary hence in one it might be cheaper and in the other, it might more costly. Also, there are many wallets nowadays that supports Tron and it's TRC tokens such as Math wallet, Token pocket and so on, therefore you can always compare fees to go for the cheaper one; in the crypto space now, many platforms are trying their best on reducing their transaction fees in order to attract more users of which Tron is one of them, thus most times it doesn't really make sense spending much just on fees.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stakenet 2019 Roadmap - Looks Extremely Promising on: January 23, 2021, 08:44:22 AM
I am not following this project, but if actually the team has succeeded in implementing all these outlined in their roadmap then they have done great, because on one hand it is quite easy to write what the roadmap will be and how to go about it, while on the other hand, which is the most important is if the roadmap was followed duly and everything achieved. Also, one of the ways to know a non serious team is when they find it hard following their roadmap, this will kick them off balance because they will have no direction and of course will cause the downfall of the project.
To be frank, if only many project team will stick to what the set out to do, the crypto space will be free from many shitcoins and scam projects.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 14th BNB Burn on: January 22, 2021, 10:17:24 AM
That is actually good for Binance platform and the BNB holders. Token burn tends to have a positive effect on the price of the coin or token if the coin is one with attractive use case and once that is in place, once the burn method is announced, the price pumps significantly and depending on the type of coin, the price will really go high. On the other hand, many platforms always announces token burn but yet no significant changes in price of their token will be seen because users or investors already knows that the platform is not worthy of their attention and money. Now in the case of a coin like BNB, It is a wonderful case, that is, Binance exchange is already the top exchange in the crypto space, the team are very efficient and therefore with BNB burn, the price will really go high.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet experience on: January 22, 2021, 10:02:54 AM
It is good that you didn't relent and conclude it's lost but took a step further to look for a solution.
Just in case of another scenario with another token; before sending a token, always make findings to know the wallet that supports your token, many tokens are out there and Trust wallet might not support all of them, thus make sure you find out first before sending, also Token Pocket seems to be a good one too and in cases where Trust wallet doesn't support the token you have.
In addition, whenever you send a token to your wallet and you are sure you sent to the correct address, and from the sending side, it is showing successful while in the receiving side it is not showing, the first thing to do is to scan the wallet on the explorer of that blockchain, be it Etherscan, Tron, Bscscan and so on.
Furthermore, in many cases you might have to add the token in order to make it appear. It's good you shared your experience and I believe many others will learn from it.
