141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Uniswap (UNI) good for investment? on: April 28, 2021, 10:35:15 PM
Most forums do not have enough information on Uniswap(UNI). Most people only know that Uniswap is a crypto trading platform like Binance, then that's all. Binance(BNB) coin is going up these few months. Does Uniswap(UNI) coin have a chance to go up? Does Uniswap(UNI) worth to invest?
Could anyone tell me? Thx!!

To begin with, Uniswap is quite different from Binance, in the sense that it is a decentralized exchange while Binance is a centralized exchange, so that is a big difference. Also, when it comes to centralized exchanges, Binance tends to be the best while when it comes to decentralized exchanges, Uniswap tends to be the best. In the same way, Uniswap has been around for a long time and till date has been growing both in users and volume, therefore in my own opinion, looking into the potential of Uniswap, I would say investing in it, is a good idea.
Lastly, of course Uniswap can go up even more, because the more projects lists, the more users expand the more it grows, it's also worthy to know that the team are constantly working to ensure the best is attained and offered to users.

144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ACCIDENTALLY SENT MY BINANCE USDT TO ABRA'S BTC on: February 10, 2021, 08:05:48 PM
Even before withdrawing, Binance will also warn to be careful of where you are withdrawing to because it can be very hard to recover the asset if sent to a wrong wallet address. Bitcoin blockchain is different from USDT, and moreover USDT is supported by many blockchains now such as Tron, Omini, Ethereum, and even EOS in some exchanges, therefore how this issue will be solved is what anyone can hardly tell, because the mare looking at it, it looks complicated. However, you can continue contacting ABRA customer service to hear from them, at least, it doesn't cost anything to contact them, therefore continue sending them mail until they respond. Sorry about that.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I lost all tokens deposited in exchange on: February 10, 2021, 07:55:31 PM
Ever since Idex lost their true nature of decentralization I don't find the exchange anymore appealing, and even looking at it, it seems much activities are no longer taking place on the exchange. Nevertheless, keeping funds on exchanges have been a bad idea, especially when one prefers to hold long term, which is your case; the former Idex being based on Ethereum blockchain means you can easily store your tokens on any ERC supported wallet and of course you can sell whenever you want again.
However, to the best of my understanding, Idex has migrated to a new network, I believe the BSC network, therefore you will need to migrate as well with the details you used in the first place. Also, for better clarifications you can contact their customer service to get the latest information from them and what to do as well.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Elon Musk: "Your app sucks" ft. FreeWallet on: February 10, 2021, 07:43:05 PM
He stated the obvious truth and that is just it, and it baffles me that there are people still using FreeWallet, because for them to still be in existence till now means they still have users patronising them. So, I totally agree with Elon Musk, that any wallet, no matter how Innovative or friendly it is, that doesn't give users the ability to own their private keys, such wallet should not be used. And owing to the fact this response is coming from Elon Musk wherein there are many followers who are crypto related, he has just succeeded in educating a lot of people on the need to be careful of FreeWallet as well as going for other wallets which can allow them own their private keys.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are there any safe and secure exchange services where i can buy new alt coins? on: February 09, 2021, 04:44:06 PM
If you continue having that idea of hitting it big within a short time, you might end up getting scammed by all these Ponzi schemes or scam platforms flying around. First thing first is getting all the knowledge you need, such as how to secure your wallet, about different wallets and so on. You also need to understand how to study a project and how to follow it up before investing, that is, if you want to be an investor. On the other hand, if you want to be a trader, then you will need to understand what trading entails, and so on, so that you don't buy pump and dump coins. And lastly, if you want to be a long term holder you will also need to know the type of coins to hold, such as Bitcoin and so on. Therefore looking at every thing, you will understand it all centers on being knowledgeable about the crypto space; so knowledge comes first.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My safepal wallet says I have 0 LINK tokens on: February 09, 2021, 04:34:22 PM
Just in case of another time; most new wallets might come with bugs and gradually with constant work, it will be solved and taken care of. Therefore, in case of another time, take your private keys or mnemonic phrases as the case may be which I also believe you have saved, head to trust wallet or any wallet of your choice and import it, this will enable you to view your tokens. Once a transaction is sent or carried out on an address where a token is sent, it will always be there, although might not be visible, and in such cases you might need to add by searching or by adding with contract address.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth it to mine doge? on: February 09, 2021, 04:23:22 PM
You can't just compare Doge coin to Bitcoin in anyway, both are different in a lot of ways. Bitcoin supply is not like that of Doge and moreover, Bitcoin offers more as well as having more potential than Doge, hence the reason a lot of people in the crypto space holds Bitcoin but same cannot be said of Doge coin. Also, recently, many people might regard Doge coin as a pump and dump coin because looking at the nature of growth in price for days now shows it is. Nevertheless, the difference between Doge current price and $1 is really much as someone might thought thus you shouldn't bank on that,  as earlier stated, the price looks like that of pump and dump. In the case of mining, you need to put some factors into place like the cost of mining rig that will bring better profits as well as the cost of energy, how cheap is it.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Transfering XMY on: February 08, 2021, 11:26:12 AM
Since 2017 till now is a very long time and many changes might have happened within the platform, therefore your best chance of recovering your XMY is by writing to the customer care to see how best they can help. Challenges and issues like this are the reason why it is always advisable and wise to ensure you store your coins and tokens in private wallets which will give you the opportunity to hold and secure your private keys, such that, anyday, anyplace and anytime, you can access your wallet easily. Bearing that it mind, it reminds me; if you had ever at one point stored the private keys or mnemonic phrases from that platform or website then you can easily import the wallet to any XMY supported wallet applications.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DeFi is high risk, caution! on: February 08, 2021, 10:43:44 AM
I am of the understanding that using that term or feature alone, that is, "decentralization or decentralized" is meant to speak a lot about DeFi (Decentralized Finance), but it seems the reverse is the case, that is, the team developing most of these DeFi projects do not seems to either have the right knowledge, experience and skills to build and maintain one. This is not the first DeFi to be hacked, neither is it the second, thus this will mean that, there could be something that the team are not doing well or failing to do, therefore it means that anyone investing in DeFi should be aware of the risks within it thus knowing how best to go about it, because the rising number of DeFi hacks is not good in anyway for the entire Defi ecosystem owing to the fact it will lead to more discouragements.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MEW is safe? on: February 08, 2021, 09:52:27 AM
I think for a long time now, MEW has proven to be secure at least to the best of my knowledge, I am yet to come across any type of data breaches or hack on MEW , although I stand to be corrected in this aspect. Also, talking about MEW, I believe you can create the wallet from the web interface, then import the wallet to other wallet applications like Imtoken for easy accessibility and also to be safe from phishing website, either way you will still be retaining the security of your assets in as much as the private keys are safe. Also, talking about huge amount of assets, you can go for a hardware wallet, as it has proven to be more secure, but if you are still a fan of MEW,  then create different wallets and spread the assets in them but most importantly, store your private keys in a secured place.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 99% of CryptoCurrency Investors fail because they havent understood Crypto on: February 07, 2021, 05:11:46 PM
It is actually good to believe in a project and the idea within it, but one of the challenges so far is the team. A lot of people once trusted most projects team who they thought would bring good innovations, thus resulting to a successful public sale but what did they gained in return, exit scam, so many people have learnt the hard truth thus the reason they are always careful and you can't blame them. Another issue with most projects nowadays is hype, a good number of them have nothing to offer and the best way to go forward for them is through hype and this resulted to a lot of pump and dump projects, as well as to a lot of dead projects.
However, I understand your point, most projects that investors invested in when they were less in price and still coming up, which then later turned out great, rewarded those investors, at least many good projects today started that way; nevertheless everyone needs to be careful of most upcoming projects because very few are genuine.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prepare for the big and long dump this year. on: February 07, 2021, 04:50:57 PM
We have been at a good market for a while now and I think many people will find it hard actually predicting what lowest amount all these coin will hit when bear market start especially considering how much they have grown so far with a lot of them growing pass their ATH while leaving a new ATH. As for Ethereum, this might be hard to say, especially when a lot of people are still waiting for ETH 2.0 which might even cause more growth. XRP on the hand, it's future looks like it is hanging on a tight line owing to the case they are facing, if it rules in their favour a new bull run will be witnessed as a lot of people who dumped will rush to buy while if it is against them, the price will dump badly. DOT on the other hand, has pulled a lot of weight, growth etc, and as more projects joins, the more stronger it becomes thus might not dump badly as might be expected to.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which 'cryptos' do you suggest I should invest in for a duration of 3 to 5 month on: February 07, 2021, 04:30:39 PM
The first thing that should be in your mind is that, cryptocurrencies are highly volatile and also, crypto investing comes with risks therefore you need to come to a total understanding of that first before thinking of investing quarter of your capital. Also, it is not about investing quarter of your capital that matters, what matters is investing what you can afford to lose.
Secondly, this crypto space is unpredictable, therefore I don't think anyone can tell you accurately the cryptocurrencies that you will gain from in the next 3 - 5 months, because just as it is unpredictable, the bear market can set in anytime.
And lastly, about your choice of coins, Bitcoin and ADA looks good, because they are top coins, you can also add ETH to it and of course their team are already trying their best.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos price speculation 2021 on: February 06, 2021, 07:33:39 PM
I don't seems to be getting something here, that is, how can Binance USD which is owned by Binance, with its own chain leave it and then move to Tezos, I don't think Binance team will ever do that, not with the potential they have now. Also, Huobi already have their own chain or network, the HECO network, now why would they leave that as well to move to Tezos, all these doesn't add up to me thus I don't actually believe it, maybe it is a news by someone to achieve something or whatever.
Let's always be careful so as not to be misled, there is no doubt that Tezos is a good platform at least their features are great but I don't think those platforms after achieving a lot by having their own network will then leave it for another.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about Yfdai ? on: February 06, 2021, 07:22:55 PM
The market cannot be predicted in most cases therefore try and understand that so as to know when to take profit or how best to invest. There are many Defi projects nowadays and during the initial stage many were able to grow and/or pump with hype but that is not the case nowadays as new projects now have to prove their worth through development of good and outstanding features. Thus, I don't think there is anyone who can tell you if this project will be the next YFI or not, there is no harm in taking some profit then leaving the rest but if you have so much trust on the team and the idea they are working on, then you can hold for as long as you want.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is XRP displacing Polkadot? on: February 06, 2021, 07:12:46 PM
It is surprising for a coin with an ongoing case with SEC to be showing massive growth even after dumping for a while, this then shows how strong XRP is and just imagine what would have happened if there was no case at all, it means XRP would have recorded new heights. Before people were thinking it would be LTC that would take the XRP spot but wasn't long for Polkadot to do so and now XRP again. Nevertheless, Polkadot is a good project and has shown its worth with time, but XRP is a strong one on its own with a massive community and thus the reason it was easy for it to retain its spot on coinmarketcap. I think the outcome of the case would determine if it will remain on that spot or go down again.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin with over 200% increased, what happen? on: February 05, 2021, 09:39:04 PM
Many people do not really care about Doge coin and that is why it tends to remain stable in many cases but this past days has been great days for Doge coin holders, the first pump was surprising and made many people to gain a lot, it also took Doge coin to a higher position on coinmarketcap and the recent one from Elon musk twitter account really increased the price again; in as much as many people don't really have high regards for Doge but the long term holders really proved then wrong. As regards if the price will pump again, i think it might happen again as the two case scenarios shows it is a pump and dump coin, but however since no one can predict this space, if you want to indulge or invest in Doge coin, do well to do so with your spare money or money you can afford to lose.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BINANCE will delist these 4 coins! Check it out! on: February 05, 2021, 09:18:50 PM
Listing on Binance isn't really the ultimate but what matters is the project team in question continuing their development to maintain the value of their project such that, it will have good trading volume else it will be delisted. Those coins delisted from Binance exchange are coins whose developers have no further idea on how to move the platform forward, such that investors will see reasons to use it. Also, it is surprising seeing coins like Cybermiles, I tend to remember few things about them and how the team made promises but it is funny how everything turns out to fail and today, they are getting delisted, who knows what other exchanges will do about them. In the same way, matters like this is why holding most altcoins for long term is not really a good idea as their value will decrease with time.
