741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to store theta token? on: April 01, 2020, 11:20:40 AM
I wanted to buy some theta token but I am confused about whether I should store it in my paper wallet or some specific wallets supported by this token. Please suggest.

Just as most users have already replied, trust wallet is your best option, and not only will you use it for this particular token but can also use it for other altcoins as well as Bitcoin. Secondly, in case of another time, visiting the telegram group of the project in question will give you first hand Information on what you need thus ensuring your security. In whichever case, remember to save your private keys or mnemonic phrases accurately.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Build yourself a solid portfolio with good projects on: March 31, 2020, 04:20:40 PM
A good crypto project is enough to change one's life so why not take the chances?all i keep doing is making sure i get a share hold of very good coins or tokens with real use case and yes i did have many coins but i believe that a good crypto project is all we need. Am I doing the right thing?

That is a good move, you did a good thing. To be frank, good projects are known by what they are solving, their use case or their products and services and once invested in, the benefits will be seen, might not be instantly but will happen. Also, good projects generates hype with that they are bringing to the crypto sector which have the capability to add positively to the well-being of humans. Lastly, these type of projects are few and hence one ought to be careful with the type of projects he invest in.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen tomorrow when the stock markets worldwide crash again? on: March 31, 2020, 04:12:25 PM

I think the stock market has fell quite enough and the crypto space wasn't left out as well. But assuming it does again, there is every tendency that crypto will fall, remain stable or even surge; it's funny but that's how unpredictable this space can be as no one can accurately state what will happen. Crypto took a hit when the pandemic got worst but it is gradually coming up but one shouldn't be too quick to judge. As for your altcoins, it depends on the ones you are holding and how good they are, if it's major altcoins you might consider to hold but if you do not trust it well enough, you might sell off.
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance after Coinmarketcap on: March 31, 2020, 03:58:25 PM
If binance CEO and team take over CMC then you guys should be ready for a whole new level of ratings, here are few things I expect from Binance

1. Liquidity rating will finally works
2. Many fraudulent projects will be kicked out
3. Many fake volume exchanges will be exposed or even red tagged

So far I haven't seen a capable team like binance team, if crypto is going to reach a whole new milestone then this is how it will begins

Saw the news today and I must say it is a huge one if it goes through and will surely make Binance the top as well as the best crypto exchange for years to come. This is also a clear proof that the team is out to dominate the world of crypto exchanges. But talking about the issues you highlighted which Binance will solve, I tend to be skeptical in this case; since the CMC will be under their control (if finally acquired) all might play out for their own good and lastly might end up not solving everything. Also, I think no exchange is without manipulation of different kinds just that some are too good with theirs.
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange tokens on: March 30, 2020, 06:51:49 PM
Who would have thought that exchange tokens can be huge as they are today? Back in 2017 I never thought that exchange can use token on their platform and make it very valuable, look at binance exchange and Okex exchange, very profitable they are today for every early adopters, any ways that's that, how about now? What exchange do you think will be huge in near future?

That's the truth and funny enough those two exchanges are the best so far. On a more better note, the team of those exchanges put in their best towards ensuring they build a good exchange and we have seen the result. On the other hand, most exchanges nowadays are not ready to improve hence they keep lagging behind. Therefore, as it stands, I no do think there will be any exchange which will beat Binance; the exchange now supports more fiat currencies hence crypto is now easily accessible, the exchange also contributes to the betterment of humanity and so on. Okex is good but do not have what it takes to beat Binance.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] I was scammed on Youtube. What to do? on: March 30, 2020, 06:41:02 PM

This is really disheartening, you were really played and you find it hard knowing the truth because you were all after getting your own share of the giveaway. Both on YouTube and twitter there are many scammers with similar tactics, promising attractive returns of what they don't have. What makes you think that someone will give you his ETH just for free like that? The scam was all written there but you didn't see it. Henceforth, be careful, 90% of giveaways are scams, also know that no one will can give you free ETH therefore all those promising huge returns if you send them your ETH are only but scammers.
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins do you Hold ? on: March 30, 2020, 06:29:00 PM
Hi im new @ Bitcointalk and this is my first post  Smiley

Im into Crypto since 2016 so i saw big climbs off different Coins and i saw the market bleeding. At this time I had a lot of different coins some of them are already gone so i won and afterwards i lost money.

Im still into IOTA which i think is a really good investment and in NEO, Link and till 1 week i´ve invested in BTCT and started a MN. I had about 100 ETH but sold waaay to early...  Angry

So now to my questions:
which coins do you prefer and Hold ?
what do you think about the coins i´ve invested in ?

Thanks and sorry for my bad English Grin

The first thing to take note of before investing or holding any altcoin is what the altcoin is all about, and this comprises of the team and their products etc. With this in mind, I can say your choice about NEO and IOTA is a good choice, as for BTCT I do not know about it. As for the coins I think you can invest in is, ETH because it is a good one and the upcoming upgrade is a good driving force. Secondly is BNB as the exchange is proving to be the best with each day.
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of a project is not the responsibility of bounty hunters alone on: March 29, 2020, 04:49:33 PM
To be frank, this is what most projects do. They will launch a bounty and won't say a word but once the campaign is over they will start giving excuses why the bounty was a waste of time; most times I ask, if the bounty wasn't producing results why not end it half way and pay other than keeping quiet till the end. Projects which do this are not trustworthy at all as it shows lack of credibility from the team. Also, I agree with another point you made, bounty hunters are there to create awareness about the project and it is left for the investors to decide if the project is worth their money or not, that is to say, the products and services within the project also matters. In addition, this notion that bounty hunters always crash the price of tokens it not totally true, what about early investors? Don't they sell once listed?
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 29, 2020, 04:39:49 PM
How do you survive in the current market situation?
If the bounty project is no longer profitable, what do you do now?

The current market condition is not friendly at all and it is affecting trading too but nevertheless I do trade daily. On the side of bounties, you are right, most aren't profitable while there are others that are worth the time but are very few. So about what am doing in essence, first am trading, doing bounties, reading more books as well as learning other things too, so as to keep myself busy. Also, at the right time I would be going for some coins I have studied overtime.

751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will a company grow if they acquire Private Investments? on: March 28, 2020, 02:06:43 PM
Every platform and team have their aims and objectives, as well as motivating factors, that is, AVA lab did it, others might not, while others might even do more than AVA did. In my opinion it all depends on the team, their experiences and so on and as a potential investor if a platform is aiming to take such step the first thing is to know if they have truly managed their own platform before acquiring another. So in essence, for another platform to do what AVA did, the team must have what it takes to do so as well as having an encouraging and supportive community.
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better process to fund rise instead ICO or IEO? on: March 28, 2020, 01:49:54 PM
If any trusted website we could build there new project will launch by low to high target of money. Suppose one project need low 1 million and high 5 millions USD against coin supply is 50 millions. Which funds will rise, all coin distribute among all investors. Price will depends on investment. Developing and promoting coin are separate.

I do not clearly understand your point, but I will answer with respect to your title. As of today, raising funds for new startup is best done through IEO and not ICO. ICO paved way for various bad activities such as no listing even after successful ICO, exit scam etc; therefore owing to these, ICOs gradually ceased to exist as investors got tired and wise. But with IEO, it is a different thing as it is a bit safer and listing after successful sale is assured.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending crypto to a non-crypto person through Facebook? on: March 28, 2020, 01:37:24 PM
I do not think this is possible, maybe one day there will be a technology or a platform which will make it possible but as for now there is none, maybe none that I know of. I think the best way is to teach them about cryptocurrencies, wallets and so on, you might not go deep but preliminary knowledge is a good one and will keep them on the good track. Also, by sending them fractions of your desired coins, will give them a sense of belonging and will make them develop more interest in knowing more.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Very Important Advice for Devs on: March 27, 2020, 07:19:00 PM
Am sure about P2PB2B and Latoken, the two exchanges are known for accepting shit projects or better still helping a project to go down the drain. To be frank, I agree with you, a good developer or team should make their research about the exchange they want to list on, it shouldn't be necessarily top exchanges but there are good and medium exchanges to start with as a new project. Most times I used to wonder how a team who really cares about their efforts in building a project will go as far as listing on a bad exchange, which points to the fact they are after their own pockets and not any developments.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is LOCALTRADE.CC a SCAM? on: March 27, 2020, 07:09:13 PM
I tried to withdraw 657,000 EDC from Localtrade.cc. It has said "Waiting for processing" for over 4 months now. No one responds or anything. I can't even cancel the withdrawal order.

Can anyone give me some insight? Have I been scammed over $10,000? Who can I contact to file a cryptocurrency fraud complaint? They are apparently based in England.

This is my first time of hearing about such exchange; did you check the exchange before registering? Because that is a big amount to start with. Also, there are chances that you have been scammed because taking over 4months and yet no reply or successful withdrawal speaks ill of such exchange and points to scam. I would suggest you visit the Telegram group of the coin you are trying to withdraw and ask questions about the exchange, you might get the way forward about it.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of cryptocurrency during this pandemic on: March 27, 2020, 07:03:11 PM
i think the crypo world has clamored for this situation for a while. A world where the fiat system is no-longer stable. if not mistaken, i will say that the world is heading into a  serious health crisis with what is happening in china, italy, spain and other parts of the world. many countries has promised their citizens of enough fiat funding printing more fiat money to support themselves.
What is the cryptocurrency family doing to support their own community at this perilous time.

I do not think this pandemic has the capability to alter the future of the cryptocurrency space negatively; yes it might delay it's growth but to hinder it is not possible. Also, there is a big comparison between the world government and the cryptocurrency space; the government can easily endorsed any amount they want to help a course but such is not possible in this space. In this space, everyone is his own government, you decide what coin to buy etc, so the best you can do is to hold good coins or enter into USDT to be safe.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The door is never closed to new traders on: March 25, 2020, 09:09:08 AM
Most questions that bothers newbies, and crypto currency ethusiasts are,

can i join this trade?
is crypto currency bearish enough to trade?
Is it safe to trade now ?
Can i learn trading now ?

Amidst such doubts, and thoughts, i believe as a newbie or established crypto professionals, as long as you have done your research and learnt basic trade strategies.
It is easier to begin as a traders, and if you learn faster, the best.

But the door is always open to new traders or new investors.

Crypto trading is open to everyone but it has a pre-requiste which is, the person must first learn about it thoroughly before starting any trading in order to avoid many mistakes like greed etc. After learning how to trade from the right person or expert, it will be hard for some of those questions to be asked as the person will first study the market to know the best trade or coin to enter as well as knowing about bearish market, how to trade in it and so on. That is to say, first thing is, get the needed trading Information and knowledge.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Corona coins taking over on: March 24, 2020, 11:09:18 AM
Scammers are always awake and active looking for any opportunity to strike and now they have it.
They aren't taking over anything but just showcasing their scamming motives. How can someone sit down and come up with such projects when knowing fully well people have a lot to deal with now thus adding more salt to injury. People should be wise and not let scammers feed on them during this hard times because clearly they have nothing to offer which will aid other than to steal. Everyone should follow the precautions given by the health institution as that is a good way to start.
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Covid-19 Question on: March 24, 2020, 10:56:55 AM
It might not look as if it is affecting crypto but it surely do since it is humans that are involved also not just crypto but other markets but maybe I would say it is lessly affecting crypto as people are seeing the need to give it attention since it is showing more growth than others. Also, one of the shortcomings here is, crypto is yet to be widely adopted into several services thus even if you hold, you are limited to what you can buy, where you can go and so on hence the need to also convert to fiat. But also, holding some good coins or even stablecoins can be a good decision.
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In Bearish Phase, Is This a Good Move to safe Capital? on: March 24, 2020, 10:41:01 AM
Much of this month has been a time of turmoil for markets across the world. Even Bitcoin, the primary cryptocurrency, has fallen from $8000 to $5000. Currently, there are no clear signs of whether bulls are going to take control, but Bitcoin’s current oddly high correlation with traditional assets has held its price low. While many cryptocurrencies are now sitting on the stands, stablecoins have picked up. After the recent market meltdown, there had been a rapid growth in the stablecoin demand.

As it stands now, it might look difficult saying when the bulls will take over the market because each day comes with more news on what the deadly virus is causing in different countries therefore leading to further uncertainty and panic and since panic has a negative effect on the market leads to more dump. It can now be seen that in order to limit the losses caused, people sell to stablecoins which is why the demand is increasing rapidly. As for me, I think it is better to save capital as it will come handy at the right time, in this case whether fiat or stablecoins as well as holding those coins we believe in.
