682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Average Developer Activity in Last 90d on: May 03, 2020, 01:57:56 PM
It shows that ADA team are trying their best and it is but a matter of time for the results to start taking place, although their market cap isn't that much but at least everyone can see that the Dev team aren't idle. Ethereum on the other hand shows it's the best altcoin, with a good market cap as well as Dev activity closer to that of ADA is something worth commending. In general, I can say all the project team are trying their best to remain relevant and stay ahead of others, this is also one of the reasons why they are better than a good number of projects.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We failed altcoin!! Altcoin then did the same on: May 03, 2020, 01:42:33 PM
I won't generally say we failed altcoins however I will say altcoins failed us but not all altcoins. The fact is, to a greater extent altcoins failed us; a project will be Introduced and will look good only for the team to enrich themselves and abandon it once public sale is over. Also, some altcoins will start well, list and ends up becoming worthless and when you check you will realize the team stopped developments maybe they ran out of ideas etc. In the same way, some projects are just for pump and dump, are we also to be blamed for this?
Nevertheless, there are still altcoins which are better and have never failed till date such as ETH, XLM and so on.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects on: May 02, 2020, 09:00:47 AM
when investors and the crypto community already believed, but the team said differently!
- The team did not respond well to the crypto community.
- The team is very shady and does not provide updates about their projects on the telegram & social media channels.
- The team plans to take a vacation
- The team blocked accounts one by one from each community who questioned about the development of the project.
- and finally you are banned in this group  Grin

it's so annoying, how you feel?  Roll Eyes

It is more than annoying and even more painful after you must've invested thinking it was the right and perfect project. However, I think these facts or criteria is to be done, checked or analysed first before ever thinking of investing. The second to the last (questioning the team) should be done over and over again to know how experienced they are and if they have the pre-requisites to launch and manage a project; and the good side of it is, it showcases the true colour of the team be it good or bad. I believe if some of these are taken into account first it will help the investor make good decisions. Lastly, all these being done by a project shows it is likely to be a scam project.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Listing on Finexbox on: May 02, 2020, 08:41:44 AM
This looks like a new exchange and it is my first time of hearing about it and who knows if it is even on coinmarketcap, most times I wonder the need for new exchanges when most are not living up to what's expected of them. As for my own opinion, always be careful of new exchanges especially those which aren't known down to earth by most people because the chances of unfriendly practices will be high. Since I don't know much about this exchange, I can only tell you to make sure you have done enough research about it so that you don't end up losing your funds.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 49 Cryptocurrency Wallet Browser Extensions Found Stealing Private keys on: May 01, 2020, 10:22:35 AM
The more cryptocurrencies grows the more scammers and hackers keeps looking for ways to steal from people then proving the fact that, crypto is highly valuable (depends on the crypto though) no matter how most people sees it. However, this is a call for concern (49 browser extensions is too much) that we should be extremely careful of the type of browser extensions we install, i don't think it makes sense installing anyhow extension just because it looks good or with good and attractive features but instead installing and sticking to those which have been proven to be genuine for a long time. As this is a matter of money, at all times, safety should not be taken for granted.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's wrong with Altoins on: May 01, 2020, 09:52:08 AM
This is a good post and hopefully most people will see it and figure out that it is indeed an eye opener on the type of projects coming up every now and then. The truth still remains and that is, most projects today are not genuine, they are just a copy of what is already existing reason why they don't last long which is also another reason people today see them as a means to quick profit (pump and dump). About using crypto locally, I think the first thing is to educate people on what it is all about then coming up with a project which will not only be used internationally but locally as well.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite coin so far on: April 30, 2020, 12:06:03 PM
Although it has been long this post was made, I wish to state my opinion nonetheless. My favourite coins so far is Bitcoin and ETH even till date I can't let go. I gradually started holding BNB, XLM and ADA because of their potentials as well. As for new coins, am highly skeptical and trying my best not to invest in bad ones because majority of them out there aren't worth the attentions given to them.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I introduce a coin that I believe it is good but no one care? on: April 30, 2020, 11:55:13 AM
It is their money and thus they will decide how to spend it or which coin to invest in. You made a good review but you should understand that not everyone will agree with you instantly, people need more than just review, they need working products, they need proofs that it is working, they need to understand and trust the team to invest their money; these and many more are the reason why it looks like people don't care or aren't listening. In my own opinion, once the project proves itself, it will attract the right attention and users.
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of IEO is Exchange on: April 29, 2020, 09:41:43 AM
The success of ICO lies in the hand of huge partnership support, huge investors and trust but since scammers canes around ICO trust was ruined but now what we have left is IEO, and I will keep repeating myself over and over for new projects that the success of an IEO is top exchanges, no matter how good your use case is, if you choose p2pb2b or vindax over Okex or binance just have it at the back of your mind that failure awaits you with 80% chance over 100%

Anyone who have been in the crypto space since the inception of IEOs by now will understand or rather agree with you that, indeed the type of exchange has a hand in the success of any IEO. An exchange like P2PB2B hardly records any successful IEO, if at all there have been one, also an exchange like Latoken, Vindax and their likes are in the same category with P2PB2B, any IEO listed there have the team to blame. On the other hand, exchanges like Binance, OKEx, Kucoin etc have recorded a good number of success in IEOs with Binance and OKEx taking the lead, so it is not rocket science that they have what others don't which is, reputation earned by hardwork.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A rare facts about top exchanges on: April 29, 2020, 09:27:00 AM
A friend asked me what will happen if all IEO projects can use binance, meaning if they have the money, either legit or scam, here is your answer

Do not forget that even if all new projects have the money to list on binance they can be turned down if the project is not good enough, top exchanges have their asses to cover, reputations at stake here, binance among other top exchanges loves money, everyone does but that's not the end for all top exchanges, once they make a mistake of listing and hyping a scam project they are done for, remember that.

it's always about money and reputations, crypto space is so delicate, reputations get ruined fast if care is not taken

This is true and I agree which is why there is a distinct difference between top exchanges and others. Just to add, top exchanges will try their best to ensure they stick to their good ethics while on the other hand, smaller and bad exchanges like P2PB2B etc won't mind accepting any type of projects so as to get their own cut. This is also the reason why in most exchanges like P2PB2B, their IEOs is always not encouraging while IEOs in top exchanges always offer reasonable gains to their investors. Therefore one can see in that in top exchanges, reputation and integrity matters while on other exchanges, they don't care so far they will get their charges.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the new method of "Initial offering" this year? on: April 28, 2020, 01:37:51 PM
Basing my opinion on the nature of the world today; it can be seen that most crypto projects are slowing down developments while some are still going head-on with what they want while remaining hopeful, that is to say, what affects the outside world also affects crypto. Till date, there have not been a smooth ride in things both in the crypto space and in the world out there because people are still trying to know the best line of action towards their work, businesses etc. Thus I agree with the last statement that, we won't be expecting any new method of Initial offering and hence IEO will still remain the best option till further notice.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy? on: April 28, 2020, 01:25:03 PM
Hello

Recently I started looking into new projects as I have some free time and I'm wondering what do you guys look at when you are deciding which altcoin to buy and hold.

Do you know any projects that you believe has a bright future?

I hear a lot of people complaining that they bought coins that were either dead in a few weeks or the project was pointless. I would like to avoid such situations.

Thank you in advance.

Apart from top coins in coinmarketcap, a majority of other coins might likely not have good future with a bigger number going to most new altcoins, this is the way I see it. But however, to invest in any coin or project, one of the most important things to have at hand or to know is the team, who are they and what have they achieved. It is from the team that everything comes from, such as exchange listing, seeking for partnerships etc, therefore their level of experience and so on will determine if the project will have a bright future or not. Coins like BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA, XLM are good and have bright futures.

695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of lying project team on: April 27, 2020, 10:01:51 AM
If not for hype or possible exit scam, what else? Lying about getting listed on a top exchange is bad and shows that the team are not competent enough to run that project hence should be ignored and avoided. Announcing IEO listing on a top exchange is a normal thing as the project needs investors. But however, being an already listed project and spreading false information about secure listing on a top exchange when the exchange is yet to say so, is wrong; If such a thing should happen it could mean that the team have something bad up their sleeves, that is, with such news the price of the token on the first listed exchange could increase and might be a good time for the team to exit scam.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another Ripple fork, fake or real? on: April 27, 2020, 09:43:02 AM
Good you brought it to the attention of many people and probably will be saving someone as well. My say about this is that, it is just some scammers looking for who to defraud while using Ripple (XRP) as a cover up. The project doesn't make sense, in fact a lot of these fork projects are just used as a means to scam and there is a very high chance that this will be same with others. There are many good projects in the crypto market to look into, as for this one it is not worth it in anyway, so just count it as garbage and move on.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May I buy Bitcoin & Ethereum now? Or I am late? on: April 26, 2020, 06:34:18 PM
To begin with, no one can correctly say or predict the price of Bitcoin nor any other coin, this has been proven right over time, where many predictions were made and none worked out as predicted, hence be careful of those you listen to. On the other hand, both coins are very good for long term investment, because no matter how much they dump, they still rise, therefore, left for me, I can still buy either of them now or both. Also, with Bitcoin halving coming up, the prices will go up for sure but the actual price it will get to is what no one can say correctly.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: April 26, 2020, 06:17:59 PM
Assuming both are on the same level or maybe, let's say outside the crypto space, then i can say both can be trusted but coming to the crypto space I would trust Ethereum (ETH) more than Binance coin (BNB). My reason is, no matter how we look at most projects today, decentralization can't be taken for granted, it means a lot and any platform on that path displays good chances of transparency than those who are centralized. Therefore, because Ethereum is decentralized, I trust it more than BNB because some of the irregularities which might be seen on BNB can't be seen in Ethereum. Lastly, in terms of having the funds to invest in both, I would do it because they are good.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best coin in 2020 for long term buy ? on: April 25, 2020, 04:29:02 PM
What is the best coin in 2020 for long term buy? I'm going to invest in a best coin for long term please suggest me?

In my own opinion, there are many best coins and I would say they are mostly in the top 10 or maybe top 20 in CMC, but you said the best coin not best coins, thus the best all the time is Bitcoin. However, if you wish to add one or two altcoins then ETH is the first to consider followed by BNB, XLM, DASH or ADA , but a greater number might prefer BNB because of the team and their urge for growth and development.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy now 1 sat, sell next year 100sats+! It is not impossible :) on: April 25, 2020, 04:13:58 PM
This is really funny, in fact extremely funny, you found a gem and not only that, it is listed on an exchange with no good reputation, not only that too, but you kinda know that it will reach 100sats next year; only jokers or those who want to waste their money will buy into such idea like yours. Nothing was said about the project, what it is trying to solve, nor even a website to read about it, but yet you declared it a gem, this is very wrong. Moreover, all the time, Yobit is not a good exchange thus everything about this gem of yours is questionable.
