722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Best Cryptocurrency to buy in 2020 on: April 08, 2020, 04:30:12 PM
I would say that all the time, Bitcoin stands the best cryptocurrency to invest and hold for long term without worries because it has been tested and trusted by a huge number of people if not all in this space. As for those coins in the list, I would start with Ethereum because everyone knows of its aim for more growth and another in that list is Enjin and BAT. But there is one which I didn't find, maybe because it isn't decentralized and that is BNB, it is also a good coin because the team are always active and ready to go for more advancements.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to trade the usdt market on: April 08, 2020, 04:11:02 PM
Hi community members,
I have been an active trader of the bitcoin markets for couple of years. Now I want to enter the usdt markets. So basically I'm used to 0.00002-.00003 max withdrawal fee from most exchanges but i see usdt exchanges charge somewhat around 10usdt for withdrawal which Imo is very high to someone who is used to the buy sell Btc on low fee exchanges without many kyc verifications. Could someone point me to such low fee exchanges dealing in usdt?

That exchange is not friendly to be frank, 10usdt for withdrawal charges is too much and will only drive users away. And just like everyone keeps suggesting, visit Binance for it, the withdrawal fee is not upto 1usdt that is, less than 1usdt which is really a fair deal. Lastly, when met in a crossroad or faced with a situation like this one, selling to other coins with lower withdrawal fee is a good idea.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: April 08, 2020, 03:59:58 PM
This makes me remember Tokoin and tachyon protocol bounty campaign, after hunters are paid they made huge profits from this bounties and still the value are rising and not dumped, so my question is why are other bounties getting ruined after launch? Or after hunters sell their rewards? Probably because they are bad projects, hunters aren't to be blame here isn't it? Good projects will never dumped because hunters sell off

Your last line or statement explains everything, that is the difference between a good and bad project. Another thing is, a good project never worrys about bounty payments, they put their energy on making their products and services a good one but a bad or questionable project will look for where to shift blame, from which they start saying that either the bounty didn't produce results and/or the distribution will be delayed. And if they eventually pays, and hunters sell, the blame will increase but in the case of a good project the price will hardly feel the impact of hunters selling off as investors will see it as an opportunity to buy more.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bot attack bounty thread on: April 07, 2020, 03:47:40 PM
This happens most of the times and I only but imagine what they gain from doing so when knowing fully well they will be banned. In cases like this the bounty manager knows the best, either to close the form and request more data which will filter bots or allow them then filter it gradually by asking for verification from participants, either way he knows how best to handle the situation so that those bots don't affect the good participants. The annoying thing is, people will continue using bots for such acts and it is the duty of the bounty manager to maintain order.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Project 2020, suddenly stopped! on: April 07, 2020, 03:32:24 PM
I am still pondering on the criteria you used to decide that a project like this, is the best project this year, not that it is even listed on prominent exchanges. Although we can't judge a project based on exchange but yet an exchange helps to bring exposure of the project to more users, hence the need for a good exchange. I guess you saying they stopped is being directed to the bounty program, do not be deceived, always take your time to critically analyse every projects before knowing which is the best etc. For the record, a good project bothers about development even amidst challenges thus good projects do not end or stop anyhow they continue improving.
727  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right mindset needed for all traders on: April 06, 2020, 05:39:06 PM
This is a good advice and guidance as well which will help upcoming traders at the same time helping experts to re-evaluate themselves. In addition, I would like to point in one thing which is greed. This is also one of the factors which makes traders lose money, mastering the act of removing or resisting greed from/during trading will go a long way in helping as well and this can only happen if the trader is disciplined enough to resist it and stand to his views about trading. Lastly it is good to be positive about trading altogether, because it helps to shape the right mindset.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hurray, Ethereum 2.0 brings Deflationary feature on: April 06, 2020, 05:26:21 PM
One of the things I see good about most projects is the ability to enhance services, upgrade to serve users more and bringing in more features which will help set the platform on another level of growth. Thus, if this is really put into action or better still into the upcoming upgrade, I think it will help better the Ethereum blockchain and that also shows there might be more to be expected from the upcoming upgrade. It is a matter of time, as all we can do is to wait while hoping all works out well.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project- Cargocoin is scam or not? on: April 06, 2020, 05:15:56 PM
From your post there are many red flags or factors which points to a scam project. First you said the project was created since 2018 and since then there have been no progress till date, in my own opinion this shows a team which aren't serious at all, 2018 till date is a long time to at least bring something good to the community. Also, for a project getting such amount of money and yet can't follow the roadmap is another turnoff, okay let's assume there was a shift in the roadmap what happened to the funds generated? Why aren't there any progress? It also shows that, either they lied about the funds generated or it is no where to be found. Lastly with the huge reduction in the telegram group points to a platform which users have lost interest in; to me, the difference is too much.
Furthermore, in my own understanding, you can ask questions in the group to know more but to be frank the project doesn't look legit with this type of actions.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Fiat currencies on Exchange on: April 05, 2020, 06:16:03 PM
Binance has recently added five new fiat currencies for Latin Americans. Recently, Binance had closed its platform for trading. The exchange stopped its operations because of unexpected infrastructure default. Once again in March, Binance crashed due to overload. It is a good move to add more fiat currencies.

Addition of new fiat currencies points to one thing and that is, recognition; it means crypto is getting the attention due for it which is very good in all ways. Supporting of fiat currencies will make it easy for people to understand what crypto is all about since it's now easily accessible to them. I think, crypto adoption might not be taking the shape we thought it will take or happening the way we want but with this developments, it is a good step towards greater heights. Lastly, Binance exchange is through this way, gaining more users, making its exchange the best and proving yet again that it have everything that will make it last long term; crashing due to overload means more users are inbound.
731  Economy / Speculation / Re: With Effect On global economy, will Covid 19 affect expected Bitcoin Halving? on: April 05, 2020, 06:05:29 PM
With the advent of the Corona Virus otherwise known as Covid 19 global Pandemic, will it impact negatively on the eagerly expected Bitcoin Halving come May 2020? For me I have watched closely,  the movement of bitcoin from the bearish to bullish, back  and forth. Could it be worse with this pandemic? The covid 19 pandemic has undoubtedly affected global economy and I believe crypto will not be an exception. What's your take?

Currently the fear and the panic which has been induced by this pandemic in various markets is still having its unfriendly effects and with no cure forthcoming, it is creating more anxiety which is not good at all for the crypto market. In the case of halving, it might not meet the expectations we are placing on it but it might result to something good. It is humans that are the driving force of the crypto space and now, virtually everyone is affected in one way or the other be it in business etc, so there is divided attention currently which can't be argued; this divided attention is what I think is the problem.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the potential benefits of the present crisis for crypto? on: April 05, 2020, 05:55:55 PM
Yes recognition of crypto at this point in time is the idea, that is, since there is lockdown in various countries people might need new ideas, skills (trading) etc and this might be the good time to introduce them to what cryptocurrencies is all about and what it holds for the future. Also, I keep saying this to my friends, if only current cryptocurrency platforms will enhance their services and make their token have more utility, it will go a long way in bringing exposure to this space therefore serving it's purpose even in this pandemic.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: April 04, 2020, 06:52:18 PM
Airdrops used to worth the attention but nowadays it requires very high degree of patience and due diligence to get the right ones hence why most people call it waste of time. That is, no matter how the airdrop looks like, always ensure to check the neccessary information such as the team, their community etc to be sure you aren't wasting your time. Also, any airdrop asking for payment or asking for transaction fee etc is scam, and be careful of most airdrops asking for kyc.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will this have any impact or not? on: April 04, 2020, 06:43:06 PM
What's going to happen if CZ and binance start getting rid of some projects on Coinmarketcap? Especially those with bad volume and Liquidity and also dead projects, because many are on coinmarketcap, what do you think this will do for crypto space? Will it have any impact or not?

I think there is more to this than meets the eye. The first question I asked myself was, why did coinmarketcap list those projects and exchanges in the first place, weren't they properly audited? Why aren't they cautioning exchanges to be straightforward after they have moved out of order? Or aren't they aware that most exchanges reports fake volume. As for projects, what are they doing about those with low volume. Although Binance going for coinmarketcap would be for their own benefits but yet I think it can help straighten out many irregularities in coinmarketcap.
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: April 04, 2020, 06:31:25 PM
That is true and I think it is a bit higher maybe 95% should be okay. It baffles me when people who calls themselves project team launches a bounty and then play funny once it gets to paying up. Some project team always claim bounty had no positive effect, then comes the question, why launching and sticking to it till the end? In my own view, a project team should focus more on how to make the platform attractive, enhance products and services so that when the platform is being promoted by the bounty hunters, investors will see enough reasons to invest.

737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Integrating cryptocurrency in business on: April 03, 2020, 06:45:37 PM
Cryptocurrency in business is really a good idea and most projects have come up with different ideas in the form of e-commerce but yet many failed maybe they lacked the right expertise. On the other hand, setting up a business which will use crypto as a payment system might be faced with restrictions such as the payments being limited to the  country that project is based on or to limited countries since it is evident there are many countries which are yet to give a go-ahead order on crypto. But on the brighter side, the idea is a good one as it will come with cheaper charges etc while exposing the potential of crypto to the world and if adequately carried out, in a time like this, crypto can be used without issues.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are your safe haven now? on: April 03, 2020, 06:31:15 PM
It is not really easy in any place or country, the governments has already started imposing more restrictions and it's not funny at all and with that, comes spikes in the price of goods and services but yet the whole world is hoping for the best. My safe haven? it used to be more of BTC but with current issues around it is now less and more of USDT just in case I find it neccessary to covert to fiat. Even with this, I try to ensure I hold on to USDT hence being ready when opportunity calls to buy some coins because sooner than later a cure will surface.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY THE BLAME ON BOUNTY HUNTERS FOR SHITCOINS? on: April 01, 2020, 03:15:21 PM
From observation, most people who are bounty hunters are also investors themselves. In any case, the two groups almost have the same interest and that is to maximize profit on their token holdings. It is just two sides of one coin issue. It all depends on the individual involved because we have bounty hunters who hold coins longer than those who invested with their funds. It is about time  people act fair in their comments towards bounty hunters anytime a coin becomes a shit coin. By the way even in recent times, bounty hunting is not as attractive as it used to be, but still people are always quick to put blame on bounty hunters after a failed project meanwhile the tokens received bounty are very meagre to kill a project.

That's one of the things that normally happen and the best thing to do is to ignore them. And also people who say such things lacks knowledge about the crypto space. After a successful bounty campaign, most projects takes months to pay, and when they do the price have gone down, the question is, who are those that dumped the price prior to that of bounty? None will ask the question, but once bounty is sent they find excuses to tag on bounty hunters knowing fully well that bounty allocation is always small and was sent late. So, I see those who make such comments as people who lacks knowledge of how the crypto space works, rather they should ask the team and investors how the token price went too low.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are calling projects as scam when they are in a bear market? on: April 01, 2020, 02:57:26 PM
I kinda noticed that people will just easily call a project scam without even researching about the project, their judgement is solely based on the price and does not consider that most altcoins are affected by the bear market. If they can't change their mentality, this would affect the reputation of the project, this is like destroying a project's reputation in bad times, instead of helping them.

I concur with you, it is not right to say such things about a project during bear market as it does not help the project in anyway but funny enough those who don't understand the crypto space will still be too quick to call the entire space scam, have seen such on twitter. Bear market deals with all coins with no exemption and the best the team can do is to continue working on their project while the community members continue supporting the best way they can.
Also, maybe, the reason why most people call a project scam during bear market is that, the team aren't working neither are they updating the community on what they have achieved so far, which is not good. In the same way, there are projects which can exit scam during bear market, some can even shut down while blaming bear market for it.
In all ramifications, even though some projects can shut down etc, it still doesn't mean all are scam and hence every good project needs a supportive community at all times.
