The DB issue has been resolved for quite some time now. There is definitely no worry regarding that anymore. The back end of QORA is extremely solid, in fact we've already started a partner project utilizing this back end. We aren't talking about that project quite yet, but it's going to benefit QORA quite a lot, and the guys doing it are awesome.

As mentioned in my post above, it's literally only the UI that is causing things to be 'delayed' in any way. But we're working that out.

There is a lot of news, actually.


We have figured a way for QORA to have a TRUE DEX built atop its chain. Direct cross chain transfers with BTC and any BTC clone we choose can be done, and we're working that out now.


There is one slight thing that happened, and the UI dev seems to have gotten overwhelmed or something, so there are a couple options as far as doing either another or taking over development of the one he was doing. But I'm working that out now.


The exciting thing that I wanted to talk about was the DEX. We should have no need for an exchange, as we will be our own. We will not require any third party. We are also looking into the 0x project, to make use of their ledger they are building that will support DEX projects.


The vision I've seen for crypto overall in the future seems to be coming together. All things will have a token and all tokens will be directly tradeable with a worldwide p2p ledger. Beautiful.


The only thing holding us back right now is the new UI... so... there are a few options, one is that we can do the relaunch with the existing UI with a few other new features being the focus, then making QrowdFund into Qrowd, with a better UI, and a direct portal to BTC and LTC... the idea here is to utilize QORA only as a service token, allowing people to utilize the SmartContract crowdfund directly with BTC or LTC, not even realizing that QORA is being utilized in the back end. This can be done very easily and this is what we're doing on the back end side right now.


There is absolutely no issue with development other than the UI, which I'm finding a replacement for now, and am in communication with both a partner team, and a couple other potential new devs. One way or another we'll figure it out....


So basically what I would  like to know from the community, do we want to await the completion of the new UI, which will make everything much easier to use, or do we want to move forward without worrying about that, and simply focusing on other aspects until we get the UI back in development and moving towards completion?


The BackEnd is GREAT, and cat is doing AMAZING work for QORA, Gen 2 is already moving along quite well, and Gen 1 is ready on the back side, and we're adding the DEX support now.

I have multiple projects that I run, on top of managing many other things, so sometimes I don't stay on top of all of them as much as possible...

If there was a swap, it would seem I missed it? Can I have any other details?

Suppose I'm just 'used to' being the one to do these types of things with projects that I'm involved in... as usually those projects are ones I either started, or jumped in full force and started building services for, etc. (and now POLY is no exception, lol...) I simply can't help myself when it comes to the good ol 'community project'. They get me every time.

I see all sorts of interesting and fun things in the future of this project, and those things are only what I'm building myself so far, can't wait until the rest of the community wakes up and starts throwing out ideas.




I will put up at least 150k POLY towards the 'natural marketing' fund, and more towards others who are interested in starting poly related things. I will also make an offer to host anyone's service that is running a service POLY related. If the rest of the people in the community were do do similar things if they have the ability to, I would say that the project would be a smashing success in a very short period.

For some reason there doesn't seem to be a load of people ready and willing to put effort into growing the projects they will put their mining power or money into, and I find that a bit strange, however, support of the platforms that my company and team puts together, is another way for people to actively support the overall project itself, without having to do anything other than tell their friends about the services we're going to offer. I'm considering putting out some sort of referral system for POLYSHIELD, but it would have to be one that is done in a very detailed and non-gameable manner, due to the unfortunate abundance of jacks willing to screw anyone over for a dollar, or attempt to hack and steal from anything they possibly can, then automate it and do it on a larger scale. Since those types of things have to be considered in the world today, straight forward mostly 'trust based' programs like referral systems and such have to be under a whole new light and different scrutiny.

To users that still have stuck transactions on Crypto-Bridge... I have done everything within my power in terms of 'fixing' the issues. (All involved an email to their support with an explanation on the act of re-synchronizing the blockchain... the only reason I can imagine that didn't happen by default, is that they didn't realize the issue due to the low volume of POLY on a daily at this point...)

If you STILL have transactions that are stuck either IN or OUT of the exchange, this means that you were one of the ones (like myself) who issued a transaction while they were not on the correct chain (which should never happen again as I have fired up many more core nodes and am having them imlpemented into the codebase...) YOU WILL HAVE TO EMAIL CRYPTO-BRIDGE SUPPORT YOURSELVES AND RELAY THE INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR TX. We do not have any control over the exchange, nor any ability or time to provide a list of every individual user in/out transactions and get back answers then relay them back to people...

This is something you would always have to do on your own, with any exchange. I have done the most difficult portion in making sure the coin is active and functioning again (even though in order to do so it took me multiple days and some very odd replies to my emails along with confused replies back from me wondering why the subject matter completely changed from one reply to the next ... O_o) THE POWER IS YOURS!!! (to get your own individual transactions fixed on the exchange )

The community aspect is awesome, that is what drew me and my team to the project and to get as close as possible to the original creator devs, and take as much off their hands in terms of development and such  that we could. 


The truly decentralized community run projects are the ones that will succeed in the end. Mark my words.


This project in particular I have a soft spot for, since we're developing POLYSHIELD and looking to be the premier service provider of the project. But also because small, slow starting, naturally growing projects are the ones that I've always had a love for, and ones that I've always tried to help out and get to their next stage.

This one has so much going for it, I see nothing in the future aside from growth and fun and a large community of people supporting it along the way.

There is no 'official' anything, unless we decide as a community to believe something is 'official' and treat it as such, but the same fashion something that is considered that way can be replaced if no longer holding up to the standards of the community. This is how things should be, keeps everyone honest and doing their best to stay that way.

It's going to be a lot of fun with this project, and I have no doubt at all that the 'valuable' or 'very precious' nature of the namesake, will come to fruition. Get in contact with me and let's chat!

We have noticed a few things in the wallet for cryptopool.party, I have implemented a temporary fix that has allowed the pool to hit two blocks again.


As far as the overall network, it seems everyone is synchronized, but it does seem there was an issue a few weeks ago, which I'm working on resolving with cryptobridge. Cryptobridge is definitely screwy and likely not on the correct chain, but not entirely sure how or why.



I am going to setup some more core nodes, and get crypto-bridge to resync their chain, and hopefully the issues will be resolved.

UPDATE - Contact received from crypto-bridge, I will keep everyone updated as everything progresses.... However, so far it DOES seem like there was some sort of fork a couple weeks ago. Could have coincided with the attack on my infrastructure which caused 3 of my host hypervisors to have issues in various ways.

At this point, I don't know exactly what has happened, but am working on figuring out the problem. According to 3 people I have checked with so far, they are all on the same top block that I am, which is the same one that the block explorer is on as well.


Deleting and resynchronizing your db should resolve any issues if you believe you are on a fork chain.


I am setting up a few other nodes in different places worldwide to prevent things like this in the future hopefully, though I did have core nodes on 3 different hosts worldwide already... so this is odd.



We could use a few people who would like to run core nodes for us potentially, that might be helpful. I would be more than willing to give someone a few coins to set something up.

Hmm... I haven't noticed anyone else complaining about dual chains.  But we should definitely look into this if you believe it to be a thing.


As for crypto-bridge, like I said I've already messaged them. As for the rest I can't say right now but I'll start looking into things and see what is going on.

Funny you mention this, as I was just coming here to talk about a partnership I struck with EasyDEX, another DEX that is being built atop of BTS blockchain. So yes, POLY will be getting listed there.

I can get behind this. I will do more updates on the forums, that's fine. I have plenty of reputation here anyway, and use the forums regularly.


We have repaired the damage caused by the attacks on my infrastructure recently. Got the pool behind 8 distributed worldwide DDOS protection filters, etc. Also repaired 4 of the core POLY nodes that were also disturbed.


I have put a new website up as well, as the webserver previously was one of the things that took collateral damage from the attacks. Will modify the website more in the near future and add more to it.

POLYSHIELD is back in full-time development and we hope to have it completed very shortly. Hopefully within another couple weeks. We're really excited about this.


We have a few new ideas for the wallet, and a 'wrapper' built around it that will provide access to a few services as well.




I also have an idea for the MasterNode system in the future when we implement it into POLY, which will allow it to be host for a 'decentralized craigslist' type website.


The price is extremely low, great time to acquire more before we really start pushing things. Once we're completed with POLYSHIELD open beta, we will be focusing on gathering a ton of users, and have the means with which to accomplish this.



I am working out a partnership with EasyDEX and getting POLY listed there, as well as working a few other partnerships with other services. POLYSHIELD will likely be a provider for MasterNode host/share services for MYCE and another project. Also for a large crypto community.

Right now I only have the 1 board listed, and like I mentioned in the OP, the board was purchased refurbished, and never used. So it's still in 'new' (refurbished) state.

As far as all the people talking about volume and exchanges etc... I think you might be missing the 'point' of QORA a bit, but I get what you're saying.


I don't think volume will be an issue whatsoever once we are listed on ANY exchange that allows deposit and withdrawal automatically.

We will for sure get listed on EasyDEX, and I think cryptopia is a decent idea as well, however I'm not sure what they think about custom blockchain platforms, hopefully they'd be okay with getting together with a few devs.


Though, I'm not worried about that quite yet, and don't want to get ahead of ourselves. I think the UI is the last thing we're waiting on before we can do an official 'rebirth launch'.


We also have a Gen 2 repo going already and we're already partially through the complete db change and other implementations there. So things are coming along well.


Once everything is in the right place, we will focus on other aspects. For now we're focused on getting Gen 1 rebirth finished, and getting on at least 1 exchange that allows automated withdrawal and deposit.


I'm not sure why OpenLedger hasn't done this yet, as the wallet has been stable now for quite a while. But I'll be trying to get them to do so as well. If we can stay on OpenLedger, and get on EasyDEX and they are both automated, I think that's fine for now. Then we can focus on other places.
