As of right now, I'm not extremely worried about getting it listed on other exchanges. I think the work needs to be done on the coin first, and new version needs to be released that is fully solid, before we attempt to get it listed on other exchanges.
However, once that IS complete, yes, that is an option.

Hello everyone.
Just wanted to pop in and let you all know what is going on currently.
1. I've got a bunch of new nodes with modified QORA version running that should be stable.
add these nodes to your settings.json file
"122.129.64.12", "122.129.64.13", "122.129.64.14", "122.129.64.15", "122.129.64.16"
2. I've built a new team to develop QORA. 4 dedicated people are now working on the project. I am suggesting that we figure out the db issue first and go from there, but I have plenty of ideas for the future, once I've gone over them with the devs I will post here and we can talk about it as well.
3. I've let the CEO of OpenLedger know that I have a full time dev team now working on QORA, and we'll be listing QORA on OpenLedger ASAP.
The new nodes should keep the network strong while we fix the other issues in prep for a new release.
I have some other ideas as far as modifying the coin's algo, etc. But we'll have to discuss that more as well.
For now I just wanted to let everyone know that things ARE going on, and now there will be a much more active situation.
Thanks, and apologies for the delay, there has been a bit of drama going on with scammers attacking me, thefts, etc.
I'll be back with more updates soon. Thanks!

Hmm based on the 7/61 Virustotal results, I shall be (unfortunately) passing on this one.
Based on what I'm seeing on virus total... every one of the results seems to be nothing to worry about... I mean... obviously it's got a miner in it... and 'unwanted program' is nothing at all... I believe the wallet uses IRC to find nodes, or so I've been told, at least on the older version, so that explains the 'ircbot'. So IMO, there's nothing here that is actually alarming. Just my 2 sat.

legit team, community takeover by some awesome people. This should be good. Good luck guys, I'll be supporting!

Figured I would share this as well... obviously a spoofed email... but interesting nonetheless... I'll let you all decide what to make of it...

I definitely want all of these, so consider them sold as soon as we talk.

I think I'm interested in these, I'll PM you.

Hello everyone, apologies for my absence from bitcointalk for a while, things have been incredibly busy lately.
I wanted to make sure that everyone knew that BURSity asset has acquired the following assets...
BURSTaker
BURSTeam
ByteEnt
and I've taken the liberty of 'rescuing' the holders of BCAPITAL so that is also included.
everyone will need to swap their assets for BURSity from the above assets.
you can send to the alias bursity, or... BURST-3U24-2PLM-AXRA-AG45H
Many apologies for not coming here to let people know sooner, I had assumed that most BURST people were on burstnation by now or at least were reading about the assets there.
Also - for the people who have suggested that I 'change the description on the blockchain' for the assets that have merged... I really wish I could do that, but unfortunately it isn't possible...
So the only way people can find the necessary information is by watching the forums.
Thank you

Poloniex On May 2, 2017, the following will be delisted: BBR, BITS, C2, CURE, HZ, IOC, MYR, NOBL, NSR, QBK, QORA, QTL, RBY, SDC, UNITY, VOX, XMG
Anyone knows something about it? Is the only place we can trade Qora, right ?
I've done what I can in reaching out to polo, but I've never seen them change their mind. I have a lot lined up, but things are slow moving at the moment on the development side. This doesn't mean there's no hope, there will be much to come. I'm certain this will end a lot of people's QORA trip, but it won't end mine. It's stupid how much control an exchange has over the life of a coin, but it is what it is. Remember this... QORA can still direct trade with BURST, and I have plans to expand on this functionality. I will continue to do what I can for poloniex, but it is likely that it is already set in stone to be delisted. This doesn't mean the coin is dead, far from it. Things just didn't happen quick enough, such is life, and the ones that think QORA dies because of this, they can sell off and I'll be there to buy whatever I can before the exchange closes, and move it off to a local wallet. Anyway, for those of you who still believe in the project, don't worry. Yes, things aren't moving as quickly as any of us would like, but I'm only 1 person, and I have many many things that I'm working on, QORA isn't the only project I'm involved with. So yea, it is a slight annoyance, but IMO centralized exchanges are likely to only be around for a short time anyway. Decentralization is king.

I've gotten in contact with another Java developer who I will be bringing in to assist with QORA development.
Also, I've stayed in contact with Skerberus and vbcs of the original QORA team, as well as others who I will only mention if they say it is alright.
Things may be moving a bit slow at the moment due to personal things going on in a few people's lives, but I'm hoping to keep facilitating other things and moving forward.
The temp jar release that I put out seems to have run solid for me for a majority of the time on both my debian and Windows installations. I did have 2 crashes in the past 3 months, but that far surpasses how it used to be.
This is merely a simple change, nothing that would be considered a 'real fix' but something that will definitely assist with the stability of the overall network.
I'm continuing to get others to run nodes as well, and keep things moving while the slow time gets by.
There may not be as much active development as we would like to be seeing right at the moment, but I am prepping to make that happen. Anyone else is more than welcome to assist.
Also, I'll be contacting polo and giving them the new jar but I'm not sure they'll run it as I don't have the source code up on the main git. I will do so when the devs work out a few other changes and we can push the next version.
Just giving updates, more to come. Thanks!

I've been watching this coin for a while now and it seems way undervalued for its tech innovations.
Glad the price is starting to pick up even on low volume (but steadily increasing) - 126 satoshi now. It looks like a bullish flag. If we break 130 satoshi the FOMO might kick in and we may see 200-300 satoshi levels once again.
EDIT: Price already up to 142 satoshi on Poloniex, with relatively low volume of only 67 BTC. Looks like accumulation before another bull run.
Not to mention, we now have 6 developers working a fully revamped wallet for the next release, or the one after that if we decide to push small fixes first. There's a lot more coming as well.

QORA is the winner, I think, by making you jump through 3 announcement threads to get to the current thread! I think it’ll be tough to find a coin with more. (Starting with Google, of course. https://www.google.com/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=nx7cWM31GOiJ8Qf7l6L4Dg&gws_rd=ssl,cr&fg=1#q=bitcointalk+qora&* ) Seriously now, correct me if I'm wrong, but there is new block generation with 0, as in zero, reward? And the richest wallet has over 66% of the entire supply in it? And people are paying good money for it? What am I missing? There's quite a lot that you're missing, as well as a bunch of other people I'm sure... I'm low on time, but there ARE a lot of plans for QORA, and many things that are beginning to get together in the background here. But yea, vbcs has recently had a new addition to his family, and thus is a little busy in real life at the moment, so things are moving a little slower... However, I've got another dev that I'm now talking with about potential involvment, he's currently working on one other project on my other side of things at the moment, but he's quite good, even knows machine code, so I'm certain he'll be a great addition to the team. Apologies for my not posting as much lately, I also took a 5 day basically unplanned vacation from which I just returned, so that also put me a little behind on what I had hoped to accomplish. But yea, anyway, the people who come in and start talking nonsense of QORA, and the same ones who have done no research on it, the devs and people behind it, and what is possible therein. The thing is... many projects that are now VERY big, have taken QORA tech with which to build what they have, not many people know this either... does that tell you that QORA tech is crap? I don't think so. So yes, things may progress a bit slower than we all would have liked, but that doesn't mean there isn't anything happening. Right now, I'm working out a temporary solution that has given me a solid node with a compiled jar file I had done with some changes. I'll post that with information shortly. Thanks!
