...
Unfortunately, I can't recommend any mentors to you. All the legitimate groups I know are close knit and it's difficult getting random new people in.
Search around: use tools like, YouTube, Quora, Steemit etc, filter all the information and you'll eventually find the one that will suit you.
Note: all information you get from others are just suggestions and you should always do your own research, you bear the consequences of your actions.

PLUS trade only what you can trade... Plus, asking for loans to invest isn't really an optimal thing to do so trade what you can.
That was already included in the OP
At every point, only invest what you can afford to loss
4862  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner’s giveaway | guess first Bitcoin Block in 2020 [9.5 mBTC] on: December 01, 2019, 09:06:22 AM
I'm making a new post as I've already edited my current post and do not want to edit my number into it.
There's 30 days and 14 hours left till 2020. So: (30 x 24) + 14.44 = 734. in minutes = 734.44 x 60 = 44040
On average a block is mines every 10 minutes, although some sites average it to 9.5 minutes, in the coming four weeks I'll leave the average at 9.8 minutes.
So, 44040/9.8 = 4493.9 blocks
Current block height: 606120, adding 4493.9 ~ 610,614

I'm a newbie, so this is a wild prediction, also there is a little time irregularity due to posting time.

@RaptarX has explained most of the questions already. On the topic of mining difficulty; to my understanding, it is the level of difficulty in finding a block. Miners are required to solve complex computing work, this is the mining difficulty.
That's why it's run on the PoW algorithm; Proof of Work, the computing work verifies the block and also prevents and malicious attempts on the chain. The mining difficulty is adjusted to maintain the number of bitcoins created on average. The difficulty could be increased or decreased. It is done every 2016 blocks

- How is BTC price affecting miners and therefore also mining difficulty and block generation process?
Miners earn a fixed number of bitcoins per block created, regardless of the value of bitcoins at that point. A decrease or increase in price would affect their reward. If the price increases, mining becomes more profitable and attracts more miners and this increases the blocks created, and the mining difficulty is adjusted to balance the rate, so only the miners with the best mining rigs can find blocks. So the cost of mining increases.
Also if the price drops, mining becomes less profitable and miners could drop out reducing the competition and the rate at which blocks are found, the mining difficulty would be reduced, this reduces the cost of mining. So the existing rigs find blocks faster.

In my opinion, the price of Bitcoin and the mining difficulty are interdependent and balance each other.
4864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Tips for newbies to trading on: December 01, 2019, 07:34:13 AM
Trading can be very complicated especially for newbies. Lots of people are still split on whether it's down to luck or skills on the analysis (technical and fundamental). As a trader, there are bery simple steps you can take to improve your chances of gaining and also minimize your losses and they can be useful for day traders as well as long term traders (investors)

1) Read and research: This is important for both newbies and experienced traders. The internet is a repository for information and lots of knowledge can be gotten from reading through it (this also includes watching helpful videos). Also do your research, knowing what is happening on what exchange or what currency is planning a fork or a halving can help shape your decisions.

- Practice: Through regular practice, you will find the strategy that suits you, this can be done through demo trading.
One important point to note is that during g practice you have to treat it like it's the real thing. Use only the lot size, capital, leverage, etc that you will use during an actual trade.

- Start small: There is no hurry in trading and as a newbie, you should start small and grow with time. Losses are ineluctable, so a small capital will reduce your losses.
At every point, only invest what you can afford to loss

- Be patient: Every trader should have the quality of patience and also timing.
It is important to know how to control your emotions and only act on your analysis. This would also help you handle losses and profits.

- Explore every option: There are lots of tools at your disposal, signals, technical and fundamental analysis, etc, not every one of them would be helpful to you, discard those which are not and stick to your strenghts. Bitcointalk can also be a useful tool, it's an interactive forum where you can ask questions.
4865  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC FRAUD on: December 01, 2019, 07:04:05 AM
is there any chance to find it out ?!

Yes, you can find out the IP, and if the hacker used a VPN, that can be bypassed and you get the real location, you need someone with good computer skills. But that's about all you can get.
You can file a report, prove that the BTC was indeed transferred out of a wallet you own and then you can monitor the hacker's address, if he/she slips up and uses an exchange directly then their full details can be retrieved. But there are so many ways to circumvent this: mixer services is one. So there is only a slim chance your assets can be returned to you.
4866  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Almost there (Hero Member) hoping to reach it before 2020 starts. on: December 01, 2019, 06:51:00 AM
You're almost definitely going to hit your target of hero member before the end of the year. And it shows the level of community support here on the forum, especially when you interact respectfully and also qualitatively.
I'm preparing for my next rank; St member, I do not have a personal target set as yet, but would love to hit it before getting to the 1000 post mark (by my calculations that would be before the end of this year). I'm confident I can reach it if I improve the quality of my threads and replies.
4867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: November 30, 2019, 06:14:41 AM
The featured game of matchday 15 would be Barcelona visiting Atletico Madrid on Sunday. Barcelona currently top the standings, 3 points ahead of Atletico having played a game less.
Atletico have been in slow form with 3 draws from their last five.
Barcelona are giving a slightly better chance to win by bookies. They've scored the most goals of any team in the top four and conceded the most while Atletico have scored the least and also conceded the least.
4868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 29, 2019, 10:34:56 AM
The post Wenger era just officially began, and now Arsenal can sack coaches without sentiments and personal attachments. Unai Emery failed to deliver despite the clubs brisk business during the last transfer window. His team wasn't lacking in talent but in mentality.
Now the questions; How many coaches would they need to change to get it right? And would Pochetino consider a return to North London?

4869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter CEO Sees Big Future for Bitcoin in Africa on: November 29, 2019, 08:04:43 AM
I came across that tweet few minutes after it was posted, but didn't pay too much attention to it. Interests in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency from top individuals in different fields is welcome but shouldn't overshadow the actual objectives.
I believe Africa is going to be a hub for technology in the near future as the growth of smart phones become more evident and the continent would also influence the growth of Bitcoin. I'm speaking as an Afripreneur
4870  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: FUDsters become active when the price goes down - learn to spot them on: November 29, 2019, 06:27:42 AM
A regular post here on the forum gets averagely 200 - 300 views in total if it's on the first page of a board for a while. With the number of bitcoins in circulation whatever effect it has on the reader will not be reflected on the market, so technically they are trolls not FUDsters. Even if they spread it randomly on other websites it will still have an insignificant effect.
Also FUD I not necessarily a bad thing, it could be the reality of the market in some situations, and I wouldn't tag a user solely for it, except they are engaged in other shady deals.
4871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 29, 2019, 03:55:54 AM
so far there only 8 teams has been qualified ,
And 8 more to go to make up the round of 16. The RO16 is easily the most exciting round in the tournament, with all the variations to the draw and possible picks. RB Leipzig have been the surprise package this season, 2nd in the bundesliga and through to the next round of the UCL.

I will also love yo see Ajax make it to the next round and also how far they can go in the competition this year after getting so close to the final last time out

I made this thread sometime back on how best to protect you capital and it contains some helpful tips for newbies: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5169648.msg51977684#msg51977684
The thread is currently locked but you always do more research if you have any questions or ask on this thread.
Looking up a project for scam link is very essential for new projects, but if you view every project as a potential scam you would act in a way to protect your investment.
4873  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What have you bought with Bitcoin? on: November 28, 2019, 06:17:57 AM
Unfortunately I am yet to buy any physical goods with bitcoins or any other cryptocurrency. I have however purchased VPN/Hosting services and gambled using BTC. I have also been paid for services in bitcoin and never had issues with payments, will highly recommend it to anyone with at least basic knowledge of the functionality of the blockchain technology.
4874  Economy / Speculation / Re: MasterLuc new long term prediction on: November 28, 2019, 04:25:13 AM
Bitcoin surpassing the current all time high would lead to a huge influx of new investors and lost of FOMO which would bubble up the price even more, so I think stability would come a while after this. The price would need to correct and balance, supply and demand as well as mining.
Should we buy back now ?
If you're shorting and sold at a much higher price, it's a good time to buy back and has been so for a while. Best to buy intermittently as the price rises and falls to try and get the most suitable support levels.
4875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 7 on: November 28, 2019, 04:08:21 AM
I am not very good at gambling myself so I'll likely try out the child's fumbling except it's not a very ridiculous odd accumulation or if the entire deposit was put into the wager.
As for getting mad, the mistake was due to my carelessness so I can't get too angry.
Another question should be; what percentage of the winnings is the child entitled to should the game be successful?
4876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 28, 2019, 04:01:39 AM
...
It was quite a remarkable come back, silly mistakes led them to being two goals down early in the first half, but they were always expected to win and they pulled the game back.

Barcelona were also expected to win and put up a remarkable display at home, controlling majority of the game with brilliant displays from Ter Stegen as well as Messi. Dortmund now have a slim chance of qualifying and would be hoping that Barcelona do not let off against Inter Milan as the Catalans are already through to the next round.
4877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: November 27, 2019, 06:17:04 AM
Why do you gamble?

Why do you do not invest that money instead?
Why you do not donate them?
People gamble because that want to and they can. Some see it as a quick investment which like every other venture can fail or give ROI, the risks are high when gambling, but it is so in any other investment.
As to why people do not donate instead, what one does with his money is their prerogative as long as it is within the ambits of the law.
I gamble because I love to predict the results of football matches as well as some other sports; basketball, boxing etcetera
4878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 26, 2019, 09:57:27 PM
A brace from Harry Kane helps Tottenham to victory after having to fight back from 2 goals down. It's a little early but Mourinho maintains his hundred percent record. PSG also fought back from an identical situation to pick up a draw away from home.
Full time scores from around the grounds:
Galatasaray 1 - 1 Club Brugge
Real Madrid 2 - 2 Paris Saint-Germain
FK Crvena Zvezda 0 - 6 FC Bayern München
Tottenham Hotspur 4 - 2 Olympiacos
Atalanta 2 - 0 Dinamo Zagreb
Manchester City 1 - 1 Shakhtar Donetsk
Lokomotiv Moscow 0 - 2 Bayer Leverkusen
Juventus 1 - 0 Atletico Madrid
4879  Other / Meta / Re: Should we report questions that can be easily answered? on: November 26, 2019, 09:50:25 PM
You can report a post based on your assessment as everyone has a different criteria with which they judge the quality of a post, it's up to the moderators to decide if they agree with your report or not.
Some users find it easier to ask a question than to visit a site, it depends on the context and the extra layers to the post.
I've come across post from high ranking members asking questions that can be easily answered through a forum search.
4880  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Almost there (Hero Member) hoping to reach it before 2020 starts. on: November 26, 2019, 12:55:49 PM
I try not to focus on the number of merits remaining for me to get to the next rank; Sr member (although it's a bit difficult). Rather I pay attention to learning and improving, and this influences my post and would likely attract merits. I also have to resist the urge to start threads on hackneyed topics but to rather read, join quality discussions and start threads when I have something relevant to discuss.

The community has been very helpful in my journey to this stage and it's a little prove of the fact that the merit system is reflected on every member irrespective of rank.
