5463  Other / Meta / Re: Obliterate all Aridropped Merit Please @theymos on: May 30, 2019, 01:18:09 PM
and let the struggle be fair for both we the lower rank members and those claiming to be higher rank members with or without merit earned from inception.

I do not think there is a struggle, of course there are personal objectives everyone has while joining the forum, and earning from bounties (preferably Bitcoin paying) is high on the agenda. Anyone diligently contributing to the growth of the forum would be far more recognized than members who do not contribute and probably hide off in some spam section.
There are other factors as the input of those accounts when the forum was not rewarding and their contribution to the growth of the forum.
5464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins in hands of whales - should be worried? on: May 30, 2019, 01:07:22 PM
It's an asset, that is acquired with cash, of course it would be largely in the hands of those with deeper pockets. Bitcoin improves transparency but can not bring equality.
Bitcoin can also favor even the small fishes in the sea and also work against the whales, unlike in the traditional financial system controlled by the people at the top
5465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let’s Play the Hodler Game on: May 29, 2019, 08:03:57 AM
Bitcoin is not a pump and dump scheme where you build it up and then cash out at the expense the network. The basic idea is not to get too greedy. Bitcoin is an improving network, and while taking profits (or trying to), one should not key out of this industry.
5466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinCasino.com The Most Dishonest Casino, Here's What To Expect on: May 26, 2019, 07:50:44 PM
Some sites prioritize profits over quality service and this is reflected in the running of their platform, and use of sneaky tactics like these to cheat out the customers. Look for a reputable gambling site with a proven track record to patronize.
And others should also try to save conversations such as these if such a situation arises.

5468  Other / Meta / Re: Infographic Stealing on: May 26, 2019, 05:22:52 PM
The source is the link included in the "[img'][/img']" tags, don't be stupid and annoying. Thanks.

Does that also apply if I download an image, upload it on imgur and copy the bbcode, will the source indicated be from my account or the original one?

In most cases the original source is not the actual source which makes it complicated to track down plagiarism or define it even.
If it's an infographic created by a member in the forum and posted here, it is courteous to reference the owner when using it here on the forum. But putting any strict punishment would have to cover a much wide scope and we'll have much more ban appeal discussions.

5470  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Advice] Keep Records of Telegram Chats on: May 24, 2019, 08:48:50 PM
You can screen-cast the entire conversation if you want to. This way you will not lose any piece of information. OBS software is a good tool for screen-cast.

Imo, screen recording is the best way to safe keep a chat, especially as a screenshot (or cast) can be easily edited and manipulated or created from nothing.
5471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook plans to launch 'GlobalCoin' currency in 2020 on: May 24, 2019, 08:36:00 PM
I actually see it as a positive thing but I still doubt it at some point. We all know that Facebook has banned crypto advertisements before

Actually, Facebook banned ICO advertisement and not cryptocurrency as a whole, as most ICOs at that time (and even now, although it's not nearly as popular) were defrauding investors and contributors.

It would help if they do adopt an existing cryptocurrency or create their own. As at now it's difficult to pay for advertisement using lower currencies and it's not as effective as when you use a dollar-account. So a cryptocurrency would balance the process.
5472  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Quality post really ? on: May 19, 2019, 06:32:41 AM
Impact is one character of a quality post. A post that can not impact on the reader in any manner wisely can not be referred to as a quality post. A quality post can be minute but still contain very useful knowledge in it
5473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the God of crypto........ on: April 03, 2019, 05:25:11 PM
Bitcoin undoubtedly leads the cryptocurrency market, it has lost a lot of grounds in terms of dominance but it still controls majority of the market. Knowledge of these could direct investors on the right investment decisions, it dies not necessarily mean one has to sell all out for it.
A lot of people has successfully traded altcoins and profited from it, and it offers lots of utility which would be useful in different businesses and industries
5474  Other / Archival / Re: Road- Give Merit for help others (I have 9 sendable merits) on: April 01, 2019, 06:26:07 AM
I am not going to bump you down cause you are still at a low rank, but in general, I am averse to this sort of merit giveaways, even from much higher ranking members. It just looks very like an attention bait. Merits can easily be distributed quietly, to deserving posts. There is also now a sort of reward for giving merits to this post. Although they are quite expensive  Cheesy

5476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what kind of trading will suit for me? on: March 25, 2019, 07:05:24 PM
Some people thrive better exchanging currencies quickly in day trading and some work better monitoring the market over a short period of time. You would have to try out both with small capital over a very short period to see which suits you best.
Firstly do you have any previous trading experience? If you are pressed financially cryptocurrency trading is not the best bet for quick cash.
5477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what to do, if an exchange disables trading for certain currency? on: March 25, 2019, 06:59:50 PM
It serves as a huge red flag and hints at shady deals going on in that project, if I was not already an investor but was watching the currency, I would surely not be investing.
Of you already own those coins, you have an option to panic sell before the official delisting, it would go for almost nothing considering the controversy, and there's a slight possibility that the project would survive and thrive.
5478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Bull is in the Crypto Arena on: March 25, 2019, 06:48:55 PM
This publication appears to be a shill, and the market right now is very similar to what it has been for a long time now, except it us slightly above the $4k mark, this does not mean we are on the verge of a bull run, just means the price is slightly higher than a week ago.
5479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who are they behind ico? on: March 25, 2019, 06:44:24 PM
even the creator of bitcoin doesn't receive the slightest profit from his own creations.

This is not true, the CEOs of projects gets to create tokens for themselves during the token sale phase and even allocate a portion of the total supply to the team working on the project.
Bitcoin did not have an ICO, but during the early days it was pretty easy and cheap to mine out bitcoins, and Satoshi is surely sitting in a huge pile of Bitcoin right now.
5480  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bearish road over? on: March 25, 2019, 06:35:05 PM
I would say the bearish road or trend is over, cause the market is still low, but the downward slump mighy be over, and we may be at an 'accumulation phase', which is the most common phrase used. We might experience slow rises over the next couple of months before we begin to see real growths.
