I was wondering, regarding the security of this BitcoinVanity, would I be fine if I generated a split key from BitAddress and added the public key to the BitcoinVanity and kept my private key and then combined the private key from BitcoinVanity with my own to get my actual private key. Would there be any way someone knows my private key for the vanity address or am I in the clear? I’m not too cluey on the notion of vanity addresses and split keys so I would appreciate if someone could fill me in.

I think I'm going to see this through; I haven't invested that much so I can afford to watch the rises and falls without too much anxiety. Although I don't think we're going to see such massive valuation anytime soon, it's more likely that this is simply another bubble that is going to pop soon, just depends on whether there are still any buyers on the market at this price.

Personally, if I were you I would use Bitbook. Their support is pretty fast (which is critical) and very helpful and the vig is pretty low for most of their bets.

Not praising, but : Greets to all. Congrats on the parlay win (I take it that it's a win). I don't really follow basketball but it looks like you have a good feel for it

Personally, I would wait and see if we can get some stability at ~$1000 before we consider it going up to anywhere close to a million. There's a lot of optimism now with the price skyrocketing but really I'm not sure whether we will stay there for any reasonable period of time.

From a statistical point of view you losing ~30 doesn't really prove anything as it is all part of variance. It's very flawed to think just because you lost in the past you'll win again in the future (see Gambler's Fallacy). If it's actually a bug I would think that it would be more systematic than simply you. However you do have my condolences.

Proof that you have 10KUSD to your name.
If he actually has 10K I don't see why he can't buy a single BTC or at least provide us with some verifiable way in which he has actually shown he has made money through trading. Even then, I don't trust anybody enough let alone a newbie with no history and no background.

Think if we hit $1000, the bias is gonna be clearly upward
More desperate buyers than liquidating early adopters
I'm not too sure about that, from my perspective it looks as though this is just another bubble. If it gets to 1k I'm gonna sell off half of what I have and wait for the market to crash.

Haha couldn't have said it better myself. Man if I had a buck for every single scam here...

If you want to have small amounts to use for online transactions then online wallets are fine. But if I were you I wouldn't store more than 1 BTC online. You can just store the rest on your HDD or a paper wallet or in cold storage which is far safer.

reading Julia makes me think that there is something wrong with the human genome
There is something wrong with the human genome. We can see that clearly because Julia was even born lol.

Stop lending to people on BTCJAM. They are all scammers. You will never get your money back.
This. BTCJAM should be put to death. If only hackers could do something useful for the community, for once... BTCjam doesn't do shit with defaults, and the only person who has paid me out out of 6 of my investments was from the user MAC. I still can't understand for the life of me why people still persist in lending there if it has just become one big scammer's paradise...
