This is a big misunderstanding. I am from that time and have a hell of a lot lot less than 3k. At the same time I believe I have more than most.
TF on the other hand probably has a nice stack of coins. Whether that's more than 700 BTC I cannot say, but considering what he paid for advertisement it seems likely.
Completely concur, I don't know why everyone propagates the myth that the oldest members are swimming in BTC. I'm from late 2010 and I definitely don't have 3k lol. Anyway, TF is probably busy selling the stolen BTC at the hugely inflated prices right about now (at least that's what I'd be doing).

It wouldn't be an addiction if you were winning. Is gambling addiction really just another way of saying piss poor gambling strategy? I think it is. Learn how to gamble...learn how to EARN money. Depends on what your gambling on, if your gambling on dice sites there is no "strategy" which you will continuously have a +EV unless of course the house has a negative edge. If your talking about something like poker/sports betting making more information and experiences will help you to make a more informed decision. But fundamentally gambling is gambling, there is always risk despite what some might think.

I love that just little tiny add-in part, that he might be legit Haha, I'm not that cynical of the world that I've lost all hope in humanity. Just 99.99% of it.

Yes, you're correct that we could try to pre-guess what the player will do, but you're forgetting any player can imagine we're doing that, just as you're imagining. They can then know with higher probability what the computer will select and alter their choice to win -- in other words "fake out" any prediction algorithm, choose "left" four times in a row to get the computer to select "right" as you say.
As I describe above, there are only 2 choices, and one will win, which is shown. The player always has a 50/50 chance to choose correctly. There is nothing we can do to stop that.
I'm not forgetting anything. Do me a favor and beat this in 30 rounds: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/science/rock-paper-scissors.htmlMan this thing is pretty good fun, finally got there on my second try. I'm not exactly sure what the whole purpose of the exercise proves, just because thought patterns can be "predicted" over a set range doesn't mean that statistical probability doesn't approximate the expected for extremely large cases.

Hoping to get scammed? I'm sure you won't, not for so little.
Yeah it's quite unlikely that he'll be scam you with such a minute value. It'll be more likely that he tries to build trust so that he can get larger and larger loans and then scam someone out of a huge loan. Either that, or he's legit but you never know these days.

Could we lower the min bet again?
Again? How low is it now, like .0005? No actually it's at BTC0.005 which is at currently valued at like $4 USD which is rather high for a bookie depending on your unit size. I too would advocate for the option of a lower minimum now that BTC has been skyrocketing.

Pretty much all provably fair casino-style games like Blackjack and Roulette have the same or better odds compared to real life casinos.
Some of the BTC online Blackjack sites actually hit on soft 17 which is not usually the case with real world casino. It adds about 0.2% house edge which is quite large compared to the standard house edge of ~0.4%. So I'm not too sure that there are that many sites with better odds.

Mass adoption requires time and for more people to see the benefits of using it in comparison to fiat currency. It also requires less obstruction by governments which is exactly opposite to what is actually happening in the real world. I suppose BTC is going to go one way or the other; up or ground zero.

I'll be watching this thread closely, hopefully you do good on your promise and people will start to trust you more. However, if I were you I wouldn't take the lack of trust too personally; time has shown that many cannot be trusted and even those that are often shouldn't be (e.g TF). Good luck.

To confirm, nobody had the Rams?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that no one posted for the Rams, but just waiting for confirmation from Bitbook. Looks like it's going to spillover to next week.

hey its not over huge 3rd down here for the patriots!!
It's embarrassing tho, you lead 24-0 and suddenly your fumbling and throwing them game. Well at least my spread has a chance now, I assume it's going to OT?

Goddamn the Broncos another huge choke by them. Looks like I'm definitely stepping out of the NFL arena, predictions are just crap lol I might as well just play every single underdog zzz.

not to much do you bet on tennis alot!
Yeah, I'm pretty big on tennis so I know my way around who to bet on. Just waiting for the season to start, right now it's just off season challengers who are playing and they are completely unpredictable.

Well at least the Broncos are covering my -1 spread rather well, still not enough to overcome my losses tho. Anyway, was wondering whether anyone else here follows Tennis?

Wow, is that the usual going price? 400 dollars per 1,000 followers? I'm sure people online would follow you for 10 cents each no?
Yeah you can most definitely get 1K followers for a lot less than $400. I'm not sure whether he realises that tho.

What a horrible day for NFL.
I called a couple upsets, but can't believe Detroit and KC didn't take care of business today. They effectively killed all of my parleys.
Yeah Detroit destroyed one of my parlays, luckily I placed a small bet on Tampa just in case to offset my losses if it did happen. Well looks like I've gotta stay away from the NFL it's way too volatile to predict properly. I'm going to look at some NCAAF and Basketball and wait on the year for the start of the tennis season.

I'd be willing to wager my last coin that I'll be 6 feet under the ground before BTC even remotely gets close to that figure. I suppose one can always dream right?
