1521  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone tried KryptoKit- an instant Bitcoin Wallet extension for Chrome? on: December 11, 2013, 10:11:10 AM
Heard an interview with the developer on Let's Talk Bitcoin.  Very interesting stuff and they claim to have nailed down security concerns.

Still wouldn't trust it to be infallible. Honestly, if your willing to put your BTC in a browser extension either you're extremely lazy or you're a fool, either of which are good habits to get rid of which will only happen if you lose your coins. So put it this way, if you feel you need a moral lesson, by all means be my guest and use it.
1522  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: A guy selling a miner on Ebay that ripped me off on: December 11, 2013, 09:43:44 AM
This is another demonstration why Bitcoin is a more solid transaction method in general as well.

Yeah, refundable services like Paypal are a real pain in the ass when using them in transacting stuff to other people (esp Bitcoin related stuff). Rather disappointing how many people still have issues with PP and eBay; we still haven't spread the word enough about these services.
1523  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's intrinsic value on: December 11, 2013, 09:34:32 AM
I don't know whom you replied actually, but no, demand comes from value, not the other way round. And your case just confirms it. People would value signed t-shirts, and thereby arises demand for them...

Actually, I'm pretty sure you have it the wrong way around. Supply comes from the fact that there is value, with value in in itself being derived from the fact that there is demand. Supply does not dictate demand, instead suppliers will move to fit the demands of the consumers. If no one in the world demands your signed t-shirt then it has no value and then no one will bother to supply it. If there is demand, someone will eventually find a way to supply such a demand (provided it is viable).

Thanks for running this giveaway (although I did prefer the other one a bit more, this one is far harder to win).

1526  Economy / Services / Re: Make your computer a happy computer! 0.5 BTC CHEAP! on: December 11, 2013, 07:17:18 AM
Lol, I'm sorry but I think we disagree on the meaning of cheap, I don't really consider 500 bucks cheap for something I can easily do by myself without having to allow you root access to my computer. If your looking for a market that will pay that kind of money I would suggest you don't bother with here as most o us are savvy enough to do everything you "offer" and even more.
1527  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitrogenSports.EU - Bitcoin Sportsbetting - Best Odds - Free Bitcoin Promo on: December 10, 2013, 11:44:42 AM

1528  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THE CRASH OF THE BITCOIN BUBBLE HAS BEGUN! SEE CHART. on: December 10, 2013, 10:50:32 AM
Haha, it seems every single moment another person spreading FUD pops up. Please stop trying to scare everyone else, we haven't crashed and remained at that level since the initial rise from ~$150,an there really isn't anything to suggest we're going to see a crash soon.
1529  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Payza for BTC on: December 10, 2013, 09:31:06 AM
Make sure to use escrow

Do you even understand what escrow is? Escrow will not help you if Payza decides to be an ass and freeze your account and the money you have there which is basically what happened in his case.
It might not help.. but escrow can request proof of ownership

I still don't see how escrow provides any advantage (aside from costing you fees which isn't really an advantage for you). It doesn't protect you from chargebacks or from Payza deciding to freeze your account. It only helps you if one of the parties is a scammer, but then the question should be why are you dealing with a scanner in the first place...
1530  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Invest in btc or ltc? on: December 10, 2013, 09:09:54 AM
I would say LTC but I'd also invest in as many other altcoins as possible.

Uh, I really wouldn't invest into altcoins as most of them are simply cheap ripoffs which actually have a tiny volume of which are just pump and dump schemes. If your looking for long term gains go with BTC as it should do better in the long term. LTC is ok but it really doesn't have much of a use in comparison to BTC so honestly I think it will just die off one day.
1531  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.4BTC/month just by posting! on: December 10, 2013, 06:17:47 AM
Well i've decided to hop aboard and contribute my time towards this forum. Can you post anywhere in bitcointall.org and still get paid? Thanks!

Yes, as long as you make constructive posts, anything that contributes to your account's post count is considered to be a post. Make sure they aren't some random one liners and not to spam (i.e read the rules on the first page) as those posts will be docked anyway.
1532  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Transaction fees too much? on: December 10, 2013, 06:13:05 AM
No, transaction fees are fine where they are at the moment, if you can't afford 10 cents then you why are you even transacting in the first place. If your really that tight then you can send with no fees, just don't expect them to be transacted anytime soon. As a side note, how exactly would a virus be able to target the miners themselves, even if it actually occurred people would notice and it wouldn't get particularly far...

1533  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Duplicator, scam or legit? Any experience? on: December 10, 2013, 05:59:37 AM
You can ask this question every Miner factory and miner farms. WHY they would not invest alone, instead of sale shares or sale machines?

So in your fact, they all are scammer?

Some do invest alone, but none of them claim ridiculous things like having 100% of the hashing power of the Bitcoin network. This site is a clear scam, it is unviable/unprofitable for the admin's if it were legitimate and most definitely is not designed as a charity so the only category it falls into is a scam. If you lack the common sense, I suggest you invest all your coins right till the time the site closes and lose it all, that way you'll at least learn a moral lesson worth more than the coins you lost.

Ill just assume this is some kind of british joke...

Yeah, in all likelihood it is, I don't have a clue what their talking about so I'd attest it to me being Aussie.
1535  Economy / Lending / Re: REQ - 0,2 BTC on: December 10, 2013, 05:40:10 AM
The world is fucking sad, that's logic.  He just didn't have enough time on his hands to make a better cover story, that's all.

Honestly, scammers are getting both stupider and smarter, half of them get better and the other half are complete crap that expects everyone else to be on the same moronic level they are. OP is the latter case; your not going to fool anyone OP this is simply a blatant loan scam.
1536  Economy / Lending / Re: Req. .16 BTC on: December 10, 2013, 05:32:14 AM
bump anyone?

I would advise you not to bother, as your not going to get anything without having either a lot of trust here or some form of collateral (which you do not seem to have). The fact you have a new account is also quite a big problem as it means there is no real reason you can't just run away with the BTC (seeing as the account will have little/no value to you).

Everyday online and not pay...sounds not so serious.  Huh

Well put it this way, he still hasn't paid out some investors and some of the gamblers there yet and I think those guys are going to see the money come through first. Until such time he manages to pay those guys out, I'd be worried whether you'll see your coins.
