1461  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I just reverse engineered a scammer. Enjoy! on: December 30, 2013, 04:31:15 AM
I understand the potential of abuse if mods had such discretion, but when the evidence is so clear, I dont see how they wouldn't make a correction. I also sent a message to an administrator (who should have more authority). Thanks for the additional details on how the system works though.

I'm pretty sure that theymos and the mods don't make these sort of corrections anymore even with clear evidence (they may have done so in the past, just like the scammer tags). Good luck with your request, but if it doesn't work out don't be too worried, people in general aren't that big on trust coming from newbies; just don't scam anyone and you should be fine.
1462  Economy / Lending / Re: [$35] Loan - BTC on: December 30, 2013, 04:27:48 AM
I may be able to provide this. What rate will you be paying back?

Also, what part of the UK are you from, as I will require your details such as address, landline number and a scan of your passport as collateral.
How will you wring out the coin from a fake passport, address or land line? I'd almost pay to see that.

People fail to realise that collateral is something you can sell in case the debtor defaults on their loan. The word is so loosely thrown around here it has lost its meaning. Even with legitimate details you can't exactly sell them stopping short of extorting the person/committing identity theft.
1463  Economy / Lending / Re: i need a loan of 2btc on: December 30, 2013, 04:23:01 AM
Tatics = collateral?

Let's be realistic, he probably has no collateral, or even if he did, he wouldn't give you any. Every single day another newbie gets out and posts here asking for a loan, when they have nothing to offer except some "ID" which probably isn't even legit.
1464  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I just reverse engineered a scammer. Enjoy! on: December 30, 2013, 03:59:59 AM
So he left me a negative trust rating as promised. I'm going to see if the mods will remove it. I hope they have this ability because if not, it would deter people from exposing scammers.

Yeah, mods in general don't remove negative trust from people, otherwise there is the possibility of abuse if the mods are not impartial. I wouldn't be too fussed about a single negative rep, as the user isn't on default trust so it doesn't give you a negative score (for people who haven't changed their trust) and if someone looks deep enough they'll realise its simply a newbie member giving trust, who themselves has no trust.

Is there any chance in the future you would be able to offer set betting for tennis matches (hopefully before the Australian Open)?
1466  Economy / Services / Re: Earn upto 0.6 BTC per month for your signature! on: December 29, 2013, 10:35:16 PM
0.13 BTC owed, hasnt paid out, i gave him a couple of days to pay out, not giving negative trust

I highly doubt that OP is in any rush to payout if he even had intentions to payout in the first place. It's far more likely that he just took you guys for a ride the whole month.
1467  Economy / Gambling / Re: A puzzle on: December 29, 2013, 10:17:35 PM
If I may state something, having a rule that states that the last person simply to ask a question wins is not particularly "fair" as it doesn't provide all players the opportunity to actually get a reply in (e.g people in different timezones who may be asleep). You may wish to revise this rule in later games and find some other method of distributing when the timer ends.
1468  Economy / Services / Re: Premium download from hostings - pay 0.00005 BTC per link! on: December 29, 2013, 09:04:24 AM
but theres free services that allow us to do the exact same thing.

There aren't necessarily free services for all download hosts and some hosts have blocked such attempts. It just depends on how much your willing to pay and the extent your willing to search for a free solution.
1469  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 3.5 BTC for Paypal/skrill/Dogecoins on: December 29, 2013, 09:02:26 AM
That rep is only because i wouldnt go first??? it has nothing to do with me scamming.

There have been reports of you scamming, if you would just look at your trust rating. Next, if you have so many trades on another forum would you be able to direct us as to the account on that forum or even better yet just conduct the trade there?
1470  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 1 BTC with Paypal on: December 29, 2013, 03:28:12 AM
but finding a escrow that is ok with it is tough.

Your not going to find someone who is going to escrow you with PP. It doesn't matter who has the PP, you can always chargeback, in this case you'll just be taking it back from the escrow, so it's no different that not having escrow at all. PP trades require trust, and there aren't a lot of trustable users left especially not very new ones.

Tried a question to see if I can narrow it down.

Still looking.
1473  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] iTunes Gift Card $20 - Australian Store on: December 28, 2013, 04:19:31 AM

Well, OP last logged in on the 16th and his last transaction was apparently a scam and I’m not even sure whether he sells Australian cards. Guess it’s a no go.

Still looking for someone either willing to sell a card they've bought, gift me within iTunes or if someone wants to do a microtransaction via gifting me with Infinity Blade 3 ($2.99 AUD).

Thanks.
1474  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] iTunes Gift Card $20 - Australian Store [CLOSED] on: December 27, 2013, 05:36:06 AM
I'm currently looking for an Australian iTunes Gift Card valued at $20AUD. For this I would be willing to pay the equivalent of $25AUD according to Preev, either through BTC or Paypal (whichever the buyer prefers).
Please PM me or post here if your interested.
1475  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price at end of 2014? on: December 23, 2013, 08:38:59 AM
Honestly, it's either going to flourish to something like 2-3K per BTC or completely crash and burn sometime in the middle of the year to $30-50 depending on how widespread adoption becomes and whether anymore legislation appears that hinders that path of BTC.
1476  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can someone lend me 0.1 bitcoin? on: December 23, 2013, 12:54:54 AM
Yeah, no-one is going to "lend" you 0.1 BTC when you don't seem to have any intention of paying it back. Considering your newbie status and lack of trust, you'd need some form of collateral for someone to even fathom lending to you, which it seems you don't have.
1477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why are you guys using paypal on: December 23, 2013, 12:47:38 AM
Because PayPal is easy, cheap, convenient, and not everyone in the world is a scammer

Only 99.99% are lol. Paypal is primarily used because of its ease of use, lower fees and the fact that it can be used by scammers to chargeback. There are very few people left who actually are trustable enough to do a PP trade.
1478  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitrogenSports.EU - Bitcoin Sportsbetting - Best Odds - Teasers - Mobile on: December 23, 2013, 12:37:59 AM
Regarding the nitrogensports.eu interface, would you be able to make it such that the box on the right that hold my bet slip moves down and up with me as I scroll along the page? Currently, it is extremely annoying to have to find the game I want to bet on right at the bottom then scroll back to the top to place a single bet and repeat that 20 times (especially for CF). It would be a lot easier if you could implement something like this.

Hey Light, that is how the betslip used to work, but some people (in certain browsers) were having issues with the bottom button getting cutoff when adding lots of games to the betslip. We are working to get this functionality back asap! Thanks for the feedback!

Well if you can't get it working in all browsers, maybe you could provide the option for it to move in one of the checkboxes in either your settings or the actual box itself as a workaround?

Typical spam reply for 0.0002 btc. Thats what i was talking about stunna.

That is one of the most hypocritical statements I have ever heard. Guess someone's mad that they can't deal with logic.
