1162  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sell Just-Dice Custom Gamble Script on: March 28, 2014, 11:24:01 AM
Just so everyone knows - there is no foolproof system and with martingale it's really only a matter of time till you lose your bankroll. Playing on -EV games in the long term will just result in losses, so I wouldn't personally buy something that'll offer no advantage at all (rather it's a waste of time). There are NO systems, if there were everyone would use them and dice sites would be broke. It's simply mathematics.
1163  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Paypal for BTC! on: March 28, 2014, 09:06:57 AM
I have $872 in my paypal that i would like to exchange someone for .75 BTC! Not all athe money just what the current price would be. I was just letting you that i had that much! I'l give you $400 for .75 BTC! Gonna say this right off the bat and say that im not comfotable sending first or using an escrow. I can provide proof that i own the money in my paypal! thank you

I'm sorry bud but with that clause you pretty much denied any chance you remotely had of doing some kind of deal with anyone here. It's basically a requirement of most here that if your using PP you send first and even that that's not a guarantee - BTC is irreversible, PP isn't.
1164  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Free Bitcoin Vanity Address Generation Website. on: March 28, 2014, 09:04:09 AM
And what about your wallet software. Are you sure, that there is no back-door, which logs your private key to an hidden server every time your wallet software generates one? To have source code of that software is no win. Hack has been written in javascript, everybody was able to see that hack directly on the web page. And nobody did during three long months.

Just out of reference if you were really truly in want of making sure you were secure, you could run armory offline, use vanitygen to generate addresses and import those addresses into your cold storage/air gapped device. From there you could create transactions on your internet connected device, then move that transaction to the offline device and have it signed then move that back to the online device to be broadcast. It's a lot of work, but it pretty much guarantees that it's impossible for your keys to be stolen. It's simply a matter of how lazy you are.
1165  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Free Bitcoin Vanity Address Generation Website. on: March 27, 2014, 03:22:10 AM
So what is the best way to fix this problem? I have it in a wallet with other addresses..can I just delete that address and not worry then? Or should I start all over with a new wallet and new addresses?

Just delete the vanity address and never use it again. The rest should be fine provided you generated them yourself using your own client. Delete all the vanity ones you made with this site.

A sig campaign get people exited about the casino and create a lot of attention and traffic

I dunno about you guys, but I never pay attention to the ad spots that theymos sells, I just scroll down past them. Comparatively, when I see like 5 PD/Bitmixer/Zoomhash sigs in a row I tend to remember them a little bit more. And in general, I would prefer to use the sites that are willing to give back a little to their users (hence why I'm jumping ship once PD3 is out - had some issues with PD2).
1167  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Free Bitcoin Vanity Address Generation Website. on: March 27, 2014, 12:34:29 AM
AHha... Rely ? That is wonderful. WHos fault is we lost balances ? I don't care about 0.003 i paid for it. It was urs responsibility to provide SECURE keys like u say on ur site . Nvm as far i am concerned , u may not even be hacked. For 3 months not to notice change in ur own code its ridiculous. Now will be refunding what we paid for them , but not balance that was on them.... Hahahaha.... Great.

Well let's be honest - there aren't many people nice enough in the world to refund 10K of losses unless your a bigtime player or a big business. There are really just two scenarios:

a) Not hacked, instead maliciously edited code to steal coins. Then logic tells you that he would never refund your losses, but possibly only the cost of the addresses themselves in order to maintain some respectability for his account
b) Hacked, and refunding because it's the least he could do. Still can't give you a full refund because he doesn't have the funds necessary to cover it.

Both cases make sense with his actions so you can't really tell. The lesson to be learned with all of this is that is your going to make addresses do so yourself and don't trust it to any external party at all.
1168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Specific Address Wallet? on: March 27, 2014, 12:24:30 AM
I'm pretty sure currently that something like that isn't supported by Bitcoin itself. However, you could probably implement something like that using a Blockchain wallet and its API.
1169  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: March 27, 2014, 12:14:19 AM
GAW offers essentially 0.0016BTC per post (up to 50 posts) and GAW has proven to be reputable in shipping products and is using EvilPanda for the signature ad offer - who is reputable in doing these kind of things in the past for several other companies and doesn't conduct the offer unless he already has received funds from GAW to cover the cost for the first month - so using the "new" argument is disingenuous, IMO.
Just sayin' Smiley

Edit: So unless someone makes 134+ posts a month, then GAW is the better offer. But if they do post 134+ a month, then your offer is better.

It depends on how much you post in general on a monthly basis. For example, for someone who makes 200 posts a month Stunna's offer is better (as the cap is far higher and he's paying per post). Comparatively if you only make 50 posts the GAW campaign is a better fit. Basically, if you make more than 133 posts a month then Stunna's current offer is the best on the subforum at the moment.

EDIT: Haha, didn't see your edit until after I'd already posted. Woops.
1170  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: March 26, 2014, 11:07:54 PM
Hero Member = 1.5 years of active posting. That's not that easy.

I registered in early 2011 and I am still no Hero member Sad

Haha, I registered in late 2010 and I'm still behind you in activity. I have a tendency to lurk lol :/

Anyways, as to the argument that Hero members don't generally rent out their signatures - it's entirely up to them - I personally don't mind getting a few bucks on the side for something I already do as well as advertising for something that I consider to be ethical (hence the reason I'm not going with Ritz atm). Some of them, however, have enough holdings not to even bother as most Hero's come from an age when Bitcoin was cheap and so I'm not surprised that most have at least 50-100 and some of the oldest a good 1000+.

And don't forget the apparent 'loyalty bonuses', though I'd be happy with just the current rates and affiliates.

Nice to see some fightback from Stunna here. I'll be interested in seeing how the 'loyalty program' will work - probably will move over to PD once my term ends with my current advertiser.
1172  Economy / Lending / Re: Micro Loans Available, No Collateral Necessary on: March 26, 2014, 08:51:52 AM
Can't do this loan... for obvious reasons.

For once a lender that isn't completely blind to the scams. I wish you luck in finding the people who have real needs (and are truly willing to pay back) out of the minefield of scammers Smiley

1174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Solve This Mystery for me (Recovering wallet, PyWallet, Get paid 0.55btc) on: March 26, 2014, 07:23:02 AM
First off all, if your using the Qt client then the wallet will have at least 100 pregenerated addresses for each of your transactions, so don't panic about that. Before I bother with anything else have you tried importing each and every single private key into Qt or whatever client you're now using?

1177  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: NEW! bitcoin-scratchticket.com | Up to 23X Payout | FREE Bitcoin New User Promo on: March 24, 2014, 12:14:25 PM
Interesting game, would prefer if you could implement an instant deposit system that only paid withdrawals on 1 confirm as well as the option to speed up the scratching animation.
Username: Nilashoc

BTW: On your "limited offer" you spelled access wrongly ('acces').
1178  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Vanity Addresses! 100+ Vanities Generated on: March 24, 2014, 10:03:30 AM
Google oclvanitygen and download that if you want to make your own vanity on Windows Bitphotos. It's not too hard to open cmd from there and open the oclvanitygen directory and then and follow the prompts. That's how I did it for mine. I'm assuming you know how to use cmd?

yes ive done that, is there a certain dir to put the calc_addrs.cl file in? im just putting it in the same dir as oclvanitygen?

I'm not sure what you've got because I've beer had to deal with a file called calc address. Personally I used the one from here: http://lifeboat.com/oclvanitygen. I haven't had an issue with it so far.
1179  Economy / Lending / Re: Good Collateral on: March 24, 2014, 09:47:43 AM
You wouldn't turn them into BTC for the same reason your wouldn't sell your house to pay your monthly electricity bill. If it is necessary for you to keep ownership of them or you believe the collaterals value will increase relative to your cost now then you may go for a loan using that object as collateral so you can still pay your bill without having to sell your house.

Nearly anything can be used as collateral provided it is agreed upon by both parties. In general, most people use altcoins (low shipping costs - easy selling) but you can ship physical goods to an escrow.

No I cant tell the future but the outcome would have been different had it not happened (because the seed would not have changed) and that's all that matters.

I had small plans when I deposited and things were going well until the error threw me off and resulted in a quick and nasty bust. Not a fair way for me to have lost my btc.

Whether or not the former seed you used would have won or not is irrelevant. You knowingly took the risk to gamble with your money - and you lost. All that matters is that Stunna did not intentionally cheat you of a win (ie faking results/using known server and client combinations). Unless your claiming that he is not probably fair (ie that the rolls are correct given a specific client and server seed) then you don't have legs to stand on in this argument.
