anybody has a hosted Black widow ? what's the hashrate looking like ? above 13mhs ?

I have one hosted and gets about 13.3mhs

Can someone with a Fury and a gridseed verify the barrel connector is the same size?  2.1mm I think?

I'd like to get a PCIE --> Barrel adapter but need to know they are the same size and polarity.

GAW, you sell these on your site, can you comment and let us know if they work with the Fury?  I have 5 on order and do NOT want a bunch of hot power bricks.

Thanks!

I just checked with the barrels that Zoomhash sent me with my Gridseeds and yes, they are the same size and it fits.

Got my first payout today after adding my x11 hashing power yesterday!

Are you using a coin switching pool? Try a single coin pool like a litecoin pool and see if it happens there. I have my Fury working at Clever and it's not jumping like yours.

Hi.. One thing I have always noticed when I mine on clever(And why I usually don't stay here long) is that it seems like the Hashrate Clever shows is a lot of times 10% to 20% lower than my actual hash rate.. Like for example right now Clever is showing me at 23 to 25 MH's but I have almost 30(29.90) MH's pointed here..  Rejects are only 2.7%

Clever reports 20.8 MH/s 24-hour Average

My Miners UI reports  29.95 Mh/s  24-hour Average

Are the hash states here not real accurate?   I know when I am on Waffle, it shows a steady 28+- MH's

I get nervous when I see part of my hashrate missing and don't really know why or where its going..  And right now its a pretty big chunk missing..

Yeah, it always shows a bit less but I can't complain about the payout. One thing I wish was less was the rejects. On some coins it will pop to like 10%

Has anyone tried a more powerful brick to see if the temp makes it less melty?
1228  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners (Scrypt ASIC seller) independent feedback thread on: May 30, 2014, 02:23:26 PM
Yes people can be stupid but they also may be approaching things from a different angle. For example, even though I have hosted miners, I wouldn't mind a Falcon at the new wattage because I'm sitting next to a 3x 290 rig with an 1100W PSU that is only getting 2500MHs. So yeah, that would be a hell of an improvement even with some HW errors tossed in.

There have been some pedaling/backpedaling going on but in the end I'm hashing away with real power on a real product that was a pre-order people said would never come in. I haven't been doing this that long (6 months maybe) but even I know nothing in crypto goes all that smoothly. I think one of the issues GAW has they brought on themselves by making it too slick, making it seem like anyone can mine when the reality is it's still a bit more complicated than that.

Quick edit: Yeah, I hope nothing blows up either, for anyone.

So you're officially his client and are represented now? That changes things.
1230  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAWMiners.com - NEXT GEN ASIC on: May 30, 2014, 01:54:58 PM
Hey GAW, have you guys considered (or are working on) truly making your own hardware using the Innosilicon chips?
1231  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners (Scrypt ASIC seller) independent feedback thread on: May 30, 2014, 01:42:12 PM
I understand there are issues but there's a reason why nvidia, AMD, Intel, Sun, Motorola and TI are not making these chips don't you think? They are inherently unstable it seems and are always being pushed/overclocked to eek out the most minor speed improvements.

As for the others, you certainly goaded them on well enough and it was pretty easy for you to do given your anonymity when they had to essentially let you know who they were. Some of the statements "from" GAW look/read like they are being passed on from Zeus. When they say "we" have been testing I think it's more like "the team of GAW/Zeus but really Zeus" is telling us.

Traditional mining is a dirty business and so is this it seems but I'll say it again, GAW tries to make it right and for me personally I don't have any buyers remorse (well maybe still some Gridseed Blade sting.)

One more thing, where is the "Zeus miner" thread instead of dumping this all on GAW?
1232  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAWMiners.com - NEXT GEN ASIC on: May 30, 2014, 01:31:33 PM
Both GAW and Zeus have updated the Power Consumption. Falcon is now at 1040?Huh?

That is not going to fly.

And WOW!  What an update.  Zeus has more than doubled their power estimate/MH, in one case almost tripling it - and they recommend 20+% higher wattage power supplies than their specs.

Good news:  GAW is whipping Zeus on the price of the Fury vs. Blizzard (which appear to be identical boxes or nearly so).  Zeus also appears to have rather seriously revamped their product offering, dropping several models, varying a few others...  Black Widow looks like its going to need a price adjustment to stay in line.

This is an amazing world we live in!

And this is why getting a hosted miner turned out to be a great decision.
1233  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAWMiners.com - NEXT GEN ASIC on: May 30, 2014, 03:46:39 AM
Hey Everyone

We are working on an update to bring down the power consumption considerably. We will release through both zen and the stand alone app

That's good news thanks
1234  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners (Scrypt ASIC seller) independent feedback thread on: May 30, 2014, 03:45:02 AM
I'm hoping that even with the power issues enough of these hit the market that the A2 chips (Inosiliconwhatever) drop in price because 28nm is where it's at and the people with those are not complaining nearly as much as the Zeus products. Still, even with the power usage it beats the hell out of GPUs.

It is rebranded and painted black. Same miner dude.

Dudes, just do what's listed here for now and wait for the Zen service to mature a bit more: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=628615.msg6999386#msg6999386

That power brick they give you with this gets super-hot!

Just an FYI in case anyone else is experiencing it:   I am having login problems at zenminer.  Registered yesterday and activated my controller, set up pools, etc.  Can't get logged in today.  The login screen just sits there doing nothing, not complaining, not logging me in.

I have e-mail support@zenminers and PMed their rep here.

Anyone else having similar problems?

Yes but only in Firefox. I logged in no problem with Chrome.

Oh!  Bless you!  I'm in via Chrome!

I've taken note of your findings and forwarded it to our developers. Leave it to Chrome to save the day Smiley

You're welcome  Smiley

Why would you be pissed that they stopped you from squatting? Seems like a legit move on their part.
