If I'm using a blockchain.info wallet how do I see my own private key.

Obviously I know my wallet address but where is my private key visible?

When u get into blockchain.info wallet dashboard, u'll find a Download Paper Wallet link at the bottom right corner. Click on that to download it in PDF format. Your private key is there in WIF format.

Hey ,

Can I ask you what is the  max spot number ( enrolled users) ? is it 50 or 100 ?

Cheers.

For this first month I think 50 will be a good start. May increase though.

In the OP it is stated that the rate is monthly and the payment is weekly. I'm confused. Which one is correct ? If it is a weekly campaign, then what are the weekly payment rates ?

I believe the payments are made weekly and total to 0.1/0.05 a month. (0.025/0.01 a week)

I think the same. But it needs to be explicitly mentioned in the OP.

By the way, for which sig campaign u r wearing your sig ? How much are they paying ?

Changed it to show the weekly payouts.
I was meaning 0.1/0.05 per month but I know people would prefer to be paid weekly.

Thanks for updating the OP. Here is a little suggestion. Current sig campaigns are offering 0.1BTC/month for 50 posts. So, your 25 post requirement per week seems a bit high. It is good if u plz take it down to 12-13.

1408  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: @BitVortex: Reviews | Suggest a Website and Earn Some Cash on: October 11, 2014, 07:07:53 AM
I started a Bitcoin-website/service/etc reviewing site that can be found at http://bit-vortex.com/reviews. A faucet as well... off this domain http://bit-vortex.com/faucet.

Anyway - here's what I'm offering. Suggest a hot website for me to review that's not already reviewed and you'll get 20% of advertisement revenue just for suggesting it.

The more traffic the post gets, the more revenue, so once it's reviewed, you can drive people there. Smiley

Do u write review for faucets as well ?
1409  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [FREE] BitcoinDice 1.0 - Free Open Source Dice Script - Run Your Own Casino on: October 11, 2014, 06:57:22 AM
Working on cleaning it.

Is there any implementation of web socket in this project ? Otherwise how come real time bet updates are taking place ?
Using ajax caling from a mysql database, its not hard for realtime bets. when the bet is placed it instantly goes into the mysql database and ever second or so the bet table is updated. Thats how my website goes anyways, I don't know about this one.

But, I read here that using Ajax for a dice site may make things terrible.

Well, for example pocketdice.io sends a PHPSESSID cookie, so it's safe to say they use PHP ( https://pocketdice.io/index.php works too Wink). Besides that, you can easily see the socket.io socket.

A socket is an open connection between the client (browser) and server with bidirectional communication. If you make a bet, you send the info through the socket (and you get the result) and if others bet you get the bets from there. So it's all real-time, you only connect once. There are different libraries/servers for this, Socket.io is a popular one made in node.js. Perfect for a dice site.

An alternative is indeed getting new data with AJAX requests. With that, the browser would make a connection/request every x seconds to see if there are new bets. Obviously for a dice site this would be pretty terrible and give big lag and other problems. However AJAX is useful for other purposes.
Haven't gotten to bet-making.

Chat uses ajax though.

Is chat using a conventional DB or a flat file for conversation storage ?
1410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar presentation by ops lead Sam Patterson on: October 11, 2014, 06:43:06 AM

A marketplace cant run on decentralized trust similar to bitcoin. There is no way to stop scammers effectively jeopardizing every deal. OpenBazaar is not going to be successful as a mainstream marketplace. It is only good for dark trades which cant take place in a mainstream marketplace.
1411  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Brand new to mining on: October 11, 2014, 06:29:05 AM
What do I need to do to start mining?

IMO Cloud Mining is the only solution left to new entrants... but getting a reliable yet profitable cloud mining website is a big deal.

First impression is trademark of Bitcoin that funny and good. Sorry!
Then, I realized whole sentence has been trademarked.
Nice, choice of color and everything. I like it!
Thumbs up to designer lady!

Yeah, most of the TM'ing has been done on the advice from our legal counsel.

Thanks. We did want something bold and something that stands out in a nice way.

What comes next will be way cooler. Initial tests have shown something way better than what we started the drawing board with.
Should run it on public BETA as the next step.

How do u achieve the real time Tx updates ? Ajax or socket.io ?
1413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can I create a Bitcoin address with pen and paper ? on: October 11, 2014, 05:50:48 AM
Just for the fun of it, inspired by Ken Shirriff, I have gone ahead and written SHA256 in a Google sheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mOTrqckdetCoRxY5QkVcyQ7Z0gcYIH.  It does so from scratch, so to speak; it actually calculates the two sets of constants.  All steps are fully revealed demonstrating the intricate details of the algorithm.

To use it yourself, copy the sheet (File->Make a copy...) and then in your copy go to 'input'!B2 and enter up to 55 printable ASCII characters.  Be patient; it can take a minute or more to complete the calculation (many thanks to Google for making compute power available).  The resulting 512-bit hash will be displayed as 64 hex-digits at 'post-round 64'!A10.

Sorry, the file you have requested does not exist.

Make sure that you have the correct URL and that the owner of the file hasn't deleted it.
Did you delete this file???

In theory this would allow you to use google's resources to try to "mine" addresses for possible brain wallets

Correct link is given in the quote below...
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mOTrqckdetCoRxY5QkVcyQ7Z0gcYIH-Dc0tu7t9f7tw now works.  It computes the SHA-256 hash of the null string or a string of up to 55 printable ASCII characters.  It does so from scratch, so to speak; it calculates the 2 set of constants.  All steps are fully revealed demonstrating the intricate details of the algorithm.

Ken Shirriff was my inspiration.  http://www.righto.com/2014/09/mining-bitcoin-with-pencil-and-paper.html
It is not supposed to mine address. It is supposed to find hashes.

#1 way to starve the banks? Use Bitcoin in its pure form wherever you can.

Simply put: More merchants need to accept Bitcoin and more Bitcoiners need to push merchants to accept Bitcoin.
1415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain.info api. How to read transactions data. on: October 10, 2014, 09:46:04 PM
I am trying to list all the transactions of a given wallet address using https://blockchain.info/address/. My requirement is to list receive and sent btc separately.  But somehow I am not able to understand which values to read. "result" key in json seems consistent as it gives + or - integers but the first result is always 0. Values in "outs" "value" key are correct but no way of knowing whether amount is received or sent.

Any Help is appreciated.

There is no received or sent btc against a certain address. Within a Tx, an address may be in both input & output.

Consider https://blockchain.info/rawaddr/1EzwoHtiXB4iFwedPr49iywjZn2nnekhoj

Code:
"out":[{"spent":true,"tx_index":45037626,"type":0,"addr":"1EzwoHtiXB4iFwedPr49iywjZn2nnekhoj","value":2000000,"n":0,"script":"76a914998f169318eb1d8d2a4e53dce2712f5678c6f06e88ac"}

Says 2000000 is input of 1EzwoHtiXB4iFwedPr49iywjZn2nnekhoj

Code:
"prev_out":{"tx_index":17584482,"type":0,"addr":"1EzwoHtiXB4iFwedPr49iywjZn2nnekhoj","value":10097213,"n":1,"script":"76a914998f169318eb1d8d2a4e53dce2712f5678c6f06e88ac"}

Says 10097213 Satoshi is output of 1EzwoHtiXB4iFwedPr49iywjZn2nnekhoj

Now u need to properly read the JS to format it against Tx ids and then find out the respective input and output against the given address.

1418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? on: October 10, 2014, 05:56:27 PM
For local wallets I think Multibit is the best (and they are working on a new version that looks awesome). For convenience, blockchain.

I have used multibit without problems for months. Recently I tried to download the latest version from their website, but my browser refused to load the page and gave a certificate error. This really pissed me off because I refuse to download the client from anywhere else.

This might be a result of the HTTPS related HeartBleed bug.

If it was it seems fixed now: https://filippo.io/Heartbleed/#www.multibit.org

I checked them on SSL labs. Overall rating is B => https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=multibit.org
1419  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Win Free Bitcoins Each Hour at CoinLearn.org on: October 10, 2014, 04:21:21 PM
It has been stated multiple times that the trick to earn from CoinLearn.org is to use the referral scheme they offer. Create your referral and spread it across different internet forum, facebook and twitter... then see the magic. Wink

Why only CoinLearn? Every Bitcoin faucet works the same way:)
It's impossible to earn with them unless you have a bunch of referrals.

There is another trick. Some faucets including CoinLearn.org offers to redeem your earning by offering ad spot on the site. These spots actually generate high traffic. If u can win such a spot (for CoinLearn.org it is at the bottom right of the home page) and place a referral of a gambling site, it works like a charm. Wink

p.s. If u want to tip me for this trick, my address is on my profile Smiley
