well the cloudflare can be passed when the real IP behind is identified via some tricks like mails etc.

Generally mail server IPs remain different from web server IPs. But, I'm not sure whether attacking mail server also affects the web server in some way.
1142  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Forum Software : Tell me what you want on: March 24, 2015, 05:29:04 PM
You think as I do.  Perhaps that statement surprises you.  Theymos apparently has paid 200k for forum software.  I wouldn't have asked if I had not heard of that.

Probably that contract was made in terms of Bitcoin when the price was far low. U can get a contract now when bitcoin is ~300 USD and encash that bitcoin when it is ~30000 USD. Just make sure that your contract is in bitcoin, NOT USD.
1143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for Active traders... on: March 23, 2015, 10:31:41 PM
Depending on the current feedbacks from users who joined early for testing, we are changing a few rules. Joining will be free now. Trading fees will also be in %. We'll inform you when the changes are done...

Nice move. Please do inform us once you are ready...
1144  Local / India / Re: [ANN] TOXCOIN - Secure Bitcoin Exchange on: March 23, 2015, 10:28:40 PM
You may want to work on the name a bit. "Toxcoin" does not give much confidence  Cheesy
Thanks, but we want to keep the name as it is Smiley
It's our brand and we want to continue building trust with it.

Greetings,
TOXCOIN Support

Very difficult to build trust on this name. It instantly gives the idea of an Alt Coin.
1145  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [03-23-2015] Antiwar.Com Seeks Bitcoin Donations Following Google Adsense Suspen on: March 23, 2015, 10:25:19 PM
http://btcfeed.net/news/antiwar-com-seeks-bitcoin-donations-following-google-suspension/

Antiwar, an organization dedicated to exposing the horrors of war, recently had their Google adsense account terminated – as a result of showing the disgusting treatment of prisoners at the Abu Ghraib prison, by U.S. military personnel. Adsense advertisements had been running on Antiwar for almost 11 years, without any objections from Google about the

...

Rather than asking for donation, they can try out a-ads.com, adbit.co etc. There are also good ad services other than Adsense in FIAT world, e.g. BuySellAds.com, Media.com etc. In any case, there is no alternative of Direct Ads, which is used on BitcoinTalk.org.
1146  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Bouny Hunter: Bitalo DDOS attacker discussion on: March 22, 2015, 11:23:26 PM
@DD4BC,

how about earning our bounty of 2 BTC with something CONSTRUCTIVE? Twice as much as the (initial) ransom you tried to extort ;-))

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=999414.new#new

Script kiddies do not know how to code, they only know how to use existing tools to create attacks. If they knew how to code, they would earn money with coding, not extortions.

How come those, who are using CloudFlare are vulnerable to this attack ? I think CloudFlare works well against DDOS ...is not it ?
1147  Economy / Services / Re: BitDice.me - Signature Campaign! [STARTED][ESCROWED] on: March 18, 2015, 09:41:18 AM

1148  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to charge $30. in bitcoin? on: March 16, 2015, 04:54:45 PM
HI,
I am about to start accepting Bitcoin at my hair salon.  I charge $30 for a haircut.  Do I need to look up the rate and convert each time I want to receive a payment?  Or is there a wallet that does the calculation from Dollars to Bitcoin on the fly.  I've downloaded Mycelium, but I don't see this as a fuction.

Thanks,

Check the API of CoinBase.com or BitPay.com. They'll serve your purpose, i.e. accept Bitcoin equivalent of $30 and transfer the FIAT to you...
1149  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Bitcoin-Mixing-Services.com on: March 13, 2015, 08:47:33 PM
This business requires very high trust and bitmixer.io is already riding high on it. If u want to get into this niche, I believe u need to run a decent signature campaign on this forum for long. Slowly people will start trusting u. Best of Luck Smiley
1150  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: dice game open sourced on github on: March 13, 2015, 08:23:29 PM
The demo site is hosted on a free server. So the server may be slow or unstable sometime.

You can download the code and run it on your local machine.

May I know which free server is supporting node.js + socket.io + mongodb + handlebars.js ? As u r saying that it is a free server, I assume it is on a shared hosting platform... am I wrong ?
1151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitnodes Project 2015 Q1 Report: Peer Index and Incentivized Full Nodes on: March 10, 2015, 05:43:55 PM
A good read for anyone running a full node.  I'm going to check my PIX value when I get home (don't know my IP address off the top of my head).  The incentive program looks cool, too.

http://blog.bitcoinfoundation.org/bitnodes-project-2015-q1-report-peer-index-and-incentivized-full-nodes/

Quote
During this quarter, I have also started the Bitnodes Incentive Program as a personal experiment to allow reachable nodes with Bitcoin address set to receive weekly incentive paid in bitcoins. The program has issued its first incentive just last week and will continue to do so until the end of this year or when we hit 10,000 reachable nodes, whichever comes first. While the program is the first of its kind, it is still far from an ideal solution but hopefully we can see some more serious discussions, e.g. #5783, from the community to look into ways to sustain more full nodes distributed across the globe. In the mean time, if you are already running a full node, you can enroll your node in the program by following the instructions in https://getaddr.bitnodes.io/nodes/incentive/.

This is interesting. Incentivizing full nodes is a good step forward. This might attract more people to run a full note and thereby make the network stronger...
1152  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: CoinLearn.org : Newbie Learning + Hourly Earning on: March 10, 2015, 05:34:52 PM
i suggest you add some videos to the learning page, from youtube.com so that the main purpose of coinlearn which is learning is fulfilled. there are a lot of videos on bitcoin right now.
this way users don't have to just keep a tab open, they can learn something.

Very good idea. U might suggest some good videos here...

1153  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Block Explorer do you use ? on: March 10, 2015, 05:32:40 PM
For mobile I prefer https://insight.bitpay.com/ which renders great.

Give Blocktrail.com and Biteasy.com a try. Both are good but I like Blocktrail more because of the UI and it's features. You may also like https://goocha.com, not an explorer but a helpful search toll.

I was trying https://goocha.com. It is saying...

Code:
Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from goocha.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).

Hello Bitcointalk,

I was hoping there may be some benevloent individual within this learned community who may point me in the right direction...

I'll have to come back here very soon as I'm not allowed to delete my own posts... Angry

You are looking for the right direction in what respect ? Care to explain ?
1155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bitcoin logo open source? on: March 10, 2015, 05:16:03 PM
cheers dude, will send some tips for bit boy.

fantastic work.

You are most welcome. What u see on Bitcoin today has been built by so many people contributing their time & skill set for free. So many people have even spent time on this forum explaining bitcoin to new people. It is sad, that most of the people today only think about getting bitcoin cheap as if it is a product of private company, rather than holding some bitcoin and then contributing positively to collectively raise its value.
1156  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: CoinLearn.org : Newbie Learning + Hourly Earning on: March 10, 2015, 05:07:49 PM
Will you add another article about bitcoin?
I saw almost no new article since my last time visit

Nope! how can you expect for something new when they think we take an hour to read a single para

U dont need to keep reading a single para for a whole hour. Simply keep the site open in one tab and do your work on other tabs...
1157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Block Explorer do you use ? on: March 10, 2015, 05:03:16 PM
I found https://insight.bitpay.com. It is a great one because it is offering the source code on Github. It is also stable, because LocalBitcoins is using it. Should be included.

It gave a big error saying my total sent and received amount as ~7+BTC.

Can u please show some example where https://insight.bitpay.com is giving wrong results ?

Awaking the Zombie. As a Mod/Bitcoin Expert/Bitcoin-Qt core developer if you want to test www.100bit.co.in, you might like to PM us. We will be happy to provide the joining fee. Please note that, right now, we have almost zero or no volume. Also https is not yet implemented...

Nice to see that you are still at work. Very few projects I have seen in BitcoinTalk that they announced months ago and ultimately delivered the end product. Probably Trezor was the longest running in this category, it took around 2 years to deliver after the announcement.
