I think OverStock is also working on a similar project and hence they hired CounterParty developers...

1422  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Win Free Bitcoins Each Hour at CoinLearn.org on: October 10, 2014, 03:57:08 PM
Yes first payout was quite fast, a lots of satoshi/min. But now is impossible to me to reach the payout. And the "lessons" are always the same  Embarrassed

It has been stated multiple times that the trick to earn from CoinLearn.org is to use the referral scheme they offer. Create your referral and spread it across different internet forum, facebook and twitter... then see the magic. Wink
1423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In which language top gambling sites are coded ? on: October 10, 2014, 03:46:04 PM
a lot of high end scripts are compiled to protect the companies IP work

so they say what they use, but inside can have a hybrid of languages and often due if you actually get to the source

Do u hav experience in running a real gambling site ? If yes, can u plz tell us the concurrent connections it experiences on an average ? By concurrent connections here I mean the real time visitors shown by Google analytics.

1425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My absolute biggest mistake in my entire life. Learn from my mistake, please. on: October 10, 2014, 03:40:04 PM
How about those who invested a lot of money in some altcoins and ended up losing 90pct of everything. I can easily name you 3 altcoins but i would rather not.

The thing is that this is part of what we should accept in investment. If you are certain for sure 100pct, then i don't think that is what u call investment. I had my share of missed opportunity based on wrong decision because i was not willing to take the risk and if i had, i would have lived a more comfortable life and retire early. But then, the question is 'would i have known'?

If that makes u feel better

Meh not really. The fact  that I got greedy and sold for, even though small in comparison, a big profit, really makes me loathe myself for being naturally impulsive. I was though, at the time, unaware that IPO's could almost always yield nice profits, as that was my first ever IPO, so I thought "Hell, I spent 50$, and make 2,500, so that is all good"> Never dawned on me that the day after NXT came out the price would be 2000% lower than if I had waited a month...

AFAIK NXT has made multiple millionaires. I dint know about NXT. Right now, I'm holding my Stellar that I got for free from FB accounts.
1426  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are there any stories of people recovering stolen/lost bitcoins? on: October 10, 2014, 02:34:45 PM
I've seen a number of sad tales on bitcoin users who have had bitcoins stolen.

But are there any tales of users recovering those bitcoins?

Are there any tactics that can be utilized to recover stolen/lost bitcoins?

Thanks.

Yes... there are. 1170 BTC was stolen and 462 BTC was recovered. Here U go...

Yes, I was tipped a sweet $3 for my time. Judges, mediators, and lawyers also get paid.

That's the trust that I've left against others. Your ad hominem attacks display your lack of reasonable counter-position.

If thanks to me you go away, then thanks to me indeed.

The identical tone and eloquence with the English language in this post vs PMs has removed any remaining doubt for others that you were the author of said messages.

and that is why your trust level is -6 fuck you too lol

Whose trust level is -6 ? I can see everyone on this page is standing on 0 trust !!!

Working on cleaning it.

Is there any implementation of web socket in this project ? Otherwise how come real time bet updates are taking place ?
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In which language top gambling sites are coded ? on: October 10, 2014, 11:39:42 AM
Busy gambling sites need to provide high security as well as serve high traffic. In which language today's top sites are coded ? Which DB are they using ?

I'm listing a few sites below. Please post if u know about their configuration. If u know about a site which is not in the list, please post that too...

Following table is updated as per latest data found in this thread...

Hey, why there's second BitDice.me with PHP settings? That's ain't true Smiley

Oops... that was my editing mistake. I forgot to change the first column while editing the table for PocketDice.io.

@dogedice.me It is nice to see U here. Care to tell us the column values for dogedice.me/bitdice.me ?
Thanks Smiley

I use tubesock to hijack rack and implement WebSockets in RoR, client code is my own with re-connection and error handling.

I do not have any front-end as it's single page app, JavaScript is written with CoffeScript and its pure jQuery with Bootstrap.

I'm not very familiar with some of the technologies U r talking about. I have updated your row with what I understood. Please let me know if those are fine...

It'd be great to know which DB U r using here...

BitDice.me & bitdice.me are the same Smiley

As main storage I use MySQL, Redis is being used to all realtime data & caching.

Oops... U r already listed there. I dint notice. I'm Sorry...
1430  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice.Ninja and all of their sites offlined??? Was this planned? on: October 10, 2014, 12:54:22 AM
darkdice.net & jpcdice.com are both offline too.

Darkdice.net, JPCdice.com and Dice.Ninja are all down atm.

Recently MoneyPot faced a problem regarding hosting a gambling site. Can this be the same for these guys too ?

Was really good. Well written, directed and it captured some very neutral views.

Definitely a must watch for any Bitcoiner who has been through the early stage dramas.

Wont it be screened in India ? If yes, when ?

1435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hosting a gambling site on: October 09, 2014, 05:20:56 PM
I saw MoneyPot had to move from Heroku and AWS because it's not allowed to host gambling site(without license).

What other sites are using to host their services?

Even if you have a license, some providers won't allow gambling like AWS.  It's more than likely that a competitor tipped off Amazon to dice.ninja/Moneypot.

Check out this site, it has some listings to start from. EDIS has some good prices...

How is NameCheap as a hosting solution for gambling sites ? They accept Bitcoin as well...
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hosting a gambling site on: October 09, 2014, 10:48:49 AM
I would prefer big companies like Amazon but certainly will check out!

AFAIK Heroku, Amazon or Google App engine does not allow betting website without license.
1437  Economy / Services / Re: Barwick Mining Signature Campaign ►Earn Upto 0.1 BTC Each Month◄ [OPEN] on: October 09, 2014, 10:45:12 AM

Accepted, but please remember not to go two weeks without posting like last month. Have a look at the conditions in OP.

I'm not planning to go to another holiday in the near future Smiley.

I can see the campaign manager is giving wise advise to people about how to post as per campaign criteria etc. I'd be interested to see how prompt they're about making payment after one month. I'd advise to keep checking people's post for the whole month and not delaying the payment in the name of post scrutiny at the time of payout.

Has anybody made any payments from their Circle wallets yet?

I see there is no option to select the transaction fee so was just wondering whether they go with the 'standard' fee of 0.0001 or whether they charge something else.

Yes. Transaction Fee was 0.0001 BTC.

How long does it take for a FIAT withdrawal against a deposit ?
