1081  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: [WTB] VCC on: April 17, 2015, 05:02:58 PM
Brother you can get VCC for free from entropay.
You just need to add your debit/Credit card there and you will get a VCC but they do charge fees though.

I don't want to add my debit/credit card , tat is the reason am looking for a VCC

I doubt any bank will give you a VCC without a CC/DC. And if someone sell u VCC, he'll probably be at risk in case this VCC is handled in some wrong purpose.

I have DC/CC , i tried making a VCC or "Virtual Card" as they say in SBI , with my onlinesbi account but i think it was a VDC and it didn't worked.
I do have a CC of ICICI Bank but i can't find how to make a VCC from it! AM not looking it for illegal purposes , i just want it added to my azure account since i cannot proceed without it , the money won't be used so even 100 inr or less if possible is fine with me.

If you have ICICI CC, then it should not be difficult to obtain one VCC. Following link might help you...

http://www.ehow.com/how_6755548_create-debit-card-icici-bank.html

If you still face trouble, call ICICI helpline as per your location in India - http://www.icicibank.com/customer-care.page
1082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which countries or currencies do not have their own bitcoin exchange yet ? on: April 17, 2015, 04:56:59 PM
Majority of the countries do not have BTC exchange in their own currency.

Care to share a list of those ? Please note that Majority of Europe is already covered as they accept EUR.
1083  Other / Off-topic / Re: 10K BTC accidentally lost - may be somebody could help me find them! on: April 17, 2015, 04:53:04 PM

1085  Other / Meta / Re: BFL subpoena on: April 17, 2015, 04:44:02 PM
I recently received a subpoena related to a case against BFL (Case No. 14-CV-2159-KHV-JPO). I had to release all database info on a few employees/ex-employees of BFL (including their PMs), plus a complete copy of every thread in which anyone mentioned BFL or in which a BFL employee participated. (It was a huge hassle to put all of this info together.) The subpoena originally demanded all PMs that even mentioned BFL, which is ridiculous, but I managed to get this part eliminated.

If a PM of yours was released due to this, then I already sent you a PM about it.

I don't think that I'm going to send PMs about deleted posts that were released. 3196 users had deleted posts released, and I don't really want to send that many PMs when almost no one would care. I feel like people should have basically no expectation of privacy for something that they posted publicly anyway.

I also released all "report to moderator" reports involving or mentioning BFL. I don't think that these are very sensitive, so I'm not going to send out PMs about these.

I wonder how do they send you Subpoena ? Does not it require to have your physical address ? But, do they have it ? What would they have done if BitcoinTalk owner were not located in USA ? Sending Subpoena to forum admins appear ridiculous to me. Conversations are all open in public. They can directly collect their info from there. And how would they verify whether you are sending them correct PMs or not ? How can this become an evidence in a judicial process ?
1086  Local / India / Re: At what INR value you would dump your coins ? on: April 16, 2015, 02:36:34 PM
I wish to see it reach 60000₹ + mark again(Like it did at the time of mtgox and previous halvening).
I would "dump" most of my coins at ₹1lakh +

Time to create another Willy Bot ? Wink
And another exchange that supports willy  Cheesy

I wonder who would like to play this wild game ? Benson, Kamesh or someone else ?
I do have some other names in mind , cant disclose them, don't wanna annoy anyone.

What to annoy ? We are just speculating here...

There are only four players now who operates in INR specific market - Benson, Kamesh, Sathwik & Mahin. Out of them Sathwik & Mahin does not own real time exchange where willy is possible. Left are 2. Now, if you know about some new player that's a different story. But, willy bot is not possible in direct trading exchange or bitcoin shops. It has to be a real time exchange like Mt. Gox to employ willy.

Sigh, If we had willy working with us, I would never complain about volumes Smiley..

Do it buddy. Take the price to 1 lakh INR/BTC. Volume will automatically follow. Just consult MK about how is the life after Willy Wink
1087  Local / India / Re: Bitcoin isn't legalized by RBI (What's the argument here?) on: April 16, 2015, 02:24:34 PM

No probs mate! Just gets a bit crazy when we hear these things after a lot of work around Bitcoin.

Can truly understand and I myself want to make it a recognized currency. It hurts when I think I am using a currency which is not legalized by RBI and anytime it can get bitcoin users in trouble. When I check the RBI facts of not accepting bitcoins, those facts are right in their own way but when I am doing nothing wrong with bitcoins and earn bitcoins from small jobs and campaigns, I feel bad about it.

Did you get time to check the video link I gave you to see what RBI governor Raghuram Rajan is saying about it ?

Can I start in India?

Bitcoin currency is considered illegal in India.

Not sure if you are Indian or not. But, it is better not to comment on something you do not know. Learn the truth from RBI governor...

RBI has not and will never legalize bitcoin, because by constitution they can not do so. There can be only one legal tender in a country printed by the Government, which is and will remain INR. That does not mean bitcoin is illegal. If bitcoin were illegal, then FlipKart voucher, Sudesko coupon, Amazon credit and even mobile recharge cards are all illegal.

Probably your intention is good, but this is not going to happen. Because, the moment this forum become restricted, another forum will pop up to take its place.

may i suggest you a good hardware wallet ? actually Trezor wallet is the best choice i think..  Wink  my referal link : https://buytrezor.com/  Thanx !  Wink

Trezor is not the best bet.

Read: Extracting the Private Key from a TREZOR ... with a 70 $ Oscilloscope

I still prefer paper wallet downloaded from blockchain.info.

1095  Economy / Services / Re: Someone who can help to know an average price for a new website on: April 14, 2015, 10:13:47 PM
Is there any user login or regular data update required on your website or you need 4-5 well design pages to represent your business ?
1096  Other / Meta / Re: How many active members are there? on: April 14, 2015, 10:09:08 PM
I'm wondering. How many individual members are there that have:
- Posted at least once in the past week
- Logged in at least once in the past week

- Posted at least once in the past month
- Logged in at least once in the past month

Do not include newbies/brand new users.

Would be nice to see some stats regarding the above. Around 250 new members register each day, most being bots that disappear after they are created.

I do satisfy your criteria Wink
1097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can the Bitcoin Foundation best help Bitcoin? From New Exec Director on: April 14, 2015, 10:05:33 PM

Some things that I'm planning to focus on is to increase decentralization,

Hi, Bruce.  I always find it interesting that decentralized bitcoin has a centralized foundation.  I was wondering how this setup coexists with the underlying bitcoin philosophy?

If you understand how a decentralized product like Tor works with a centralized dev team, it would be easier for you to understand.

What about these people that lost in legit sites like amhash and gaw? Well, gaw is not very legit, but at least it is a registered company with public owners (going to jail soontm) and it is rated quite good in Puppet list having in mind how scammy they are.

Investing in GAW was warned by community especially their ponzi coin.

I don't blame AMHash completely assuming it wasn't a planned theft. Anyway, there is risk in everything and I didn't only tell about ponzi sites. I used "most" but I understand it can does have a second meaning.

From the mail communication that Rock Xie published later, it seems FriedCat's theft was indeed planned.
1100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinions on Online Gambling and Bitcoin on: April 13, 2015, 11:10:14 PM
I think rather than Govt, Jurisdiction etc. u need to focus on game features. Tell us what Open Ocean can offer over BitDice.me ? As someone else pointed out, gambling is a pretty saturated place now with already established players. Bringing in regulation is not a nice feature in my opinion.
