All except 5 of the participants have been removed from the campaign due to not being up to the quality we are looking for. Enrollment is now open, new participants can apply here or PM me. You can add the avatar and personal text after getting selected. The status can be checked in this google doc. What does it mean ? Those who participated in the campaign before and now not on the list, can not re-participate ? Fine. I am removing my PesoBang avatar then...

sound not ... good. use an API to send/received bitcoin fund ... instead of use bitcoind (or j) to do this ? human are bizarre. As far as I know, even BitStamp uses BitGo API to send/received bitcoin fund. In fact using a trusted API is a better option unless u have a highly skilled security expert to secure your app server, which is very unlikely for StartUps. Anyways, we now have an official announcement from blockchain.info regarding this issue. So, nothing much to worry... API users: We are currently experiencing delays with payments forwarding. Thank you for your patience as we investigate the issue further. Source: https://twitter.com/blockchain/status/595212871560114176

They frequently go down for a few hours at a time. As easy as it is to implement their API it is not worth it.
Not really. They are the market leader and has to handle huge traffic. Also they are prone to frequesnt DDoS. But, the current problem is not related to that. Their service & API are working fine. Only funds are not getting forwarded.

I am using blockchain.info API to receive payment. Since yesterday, they have stopped forwarding funds. Does anyone know what is going on ?
Maybe they have some problems with the API, transactions are rolling in. Is the problem still unresolved? The APIs seem to be working from here, but I have never used the receive payment part. API is working fine and generating address. But those generated addresses are not forwarding the fund to the main address. They are seating with the fund and I dont see any update regarding this on their twitter handle. If they acknowledge the problem, it is fine. Otherwise it is concerning.

What's the relationship between Coinlearn.org and Coinlearn.com? The latter looks like a half-finished site that will offer courses in Bitcoin once it's fully developed. Is it an upcoming project by the same people?
The answer of your question is given in this article http://coinfire.io/2014/06/23/behind-faucets/

Title says it all. I cannot wire money at this time can Nepal banks will not accept paypal payments, so I read somewhere can do this via bitcoin but I need step by step instruction for sending and for my friend to covert to Nepali Rupee and withdraw?
In general Indian rupee is usable in Nepal. At this crisis moment it is very difficult to get a bitcoiner wanting to exchange Nepali Rupee. Better aproach would be ask your friend whether he can withdraw Nepali Rupee/Indian Rupee from his bank if amount is sent in Indian Rupee (INR). If the answer is yes, follow the simple steps... i. Buy bitcoin against your own currency from Circle/Coinbase/LocalBitcoins/100bit.co.in ii. Go to LocalBitcoins/100bit.co.in and create a SELL trade for bank transfer against INR. iii. Provide your friend's bank account no. to the buyer for the SELL. iv. Ask your friend if the amount has been deposited in his account and then release the bitcoin to the seller.

Wow! Interesting share! Have you ever tried this site? I don't think its legit! I will try it right now and edit this post No. I have never tried. I'd be interested in your feedback as well...

Leave accurate feedback and eventually, you may get added to default trust list Someone on default trust needs to add you.
Now, trust depth 2 is default depth. So you will have to be added by a person in trust depth 1 or by DefaultTrust(default depth 0). I think OP is asking about how the DefaultTrust depth 0 is selected, not 1 & 2.

If u really plan to establish Bitcoin ATM in India, look at border cities, port areas and cities with international airport where international users visit. Bitcoin ATMs may work as a replacement to money exchangers. I highly doubt people within India will use Bitcoin ATM as there are already enough way to encash Bitcoin online.
No one offered a location yet.. I think you should try a goa near casino or place where poker games are played or pubs or bar +1 I think it would work best inside the Casino. That would secure it from administrative problems as it would be on a private property.

Just a note: Those .bit domains are Namecoin domains. You will need to install a plugin for your browser (either Firefox or Chrome) for it to resolve .bit domains. Your site visitors will also need to do the same.
.bit domains can actually be registered for much cheaper than $1. However, the process for doing so is very complicated and involves downloading a copy of namecoind or Namecoin-Qt and the NMC blockchain. Namecoin is pretty cheap right now and 1 NMC can pay the registration fees for many domains. Unfortunately, it also means that many domains in the .bit namespace are already taken.
Does it mean that .bit domains will never be available on normal browser like .com ? If that is the case, then it will turn into another heaven for underground sites like .onion.

|
If you are so much interested in free extensions domains, why not try out https://getdotbit.com/You will get your first .bit domain for free and then $1 afterwards for all domains, ain't that a nice deal? Also, these domains will look much better as compared to the ones you mentioned. Has getdotbit.com been operational ? I can see the site is running and found bitcoin.bit is already taken. But, when I tried to reach bitcoin.bit through my browser, it failed.
