1241  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTB] .25 BTC for PPUSD [DONE] on: March 07, 2013, 01:08:01 AM
I will pay $9.  See my extensive OTC ratings.

BTW: Don't bother making an offer if it's not $9.

Any offers?

Done.
1242  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OKPAY Bitcoin debit card - fees reduced to 2.5% on: March 07, 2013, 01:00:37 AM
OKPAY is a scam. I followed all their instructions to get a debit card and it was declined because they decided that instead of my DL they wanted my national ID. My country (USA) does not have a national ID. Now I have an OKPAY wallet which is pretty useless.
You could always use a passport card (or a regular passport).  I use my passport card for all of this stuff, you can get it for $20 extra when you order your passport.
1243  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox Won't let you cancel trades on: March 07, 2013, 12:34:55 AM
Is it just because there's a lot of orders or are they getting DDOS'd?
1244  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Circle of Trust [Game/experiment] on: March 07, 2013, 12:12:52 AM
Can I play more than once?
1245  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [Auction/Sell] qcu.co on: March 07, 2013, 12:01:26 AM
bump

I am guessing so many people agree that your domain is worth ~$450 to $1,100 Wink too bad I was going buy it, but I brought a domain qcl.me for $38, just so you know Wink
Well, you just said that you would pay 25 btc if he proved it was worth that.  He did, and you didn't pay.
1246  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MASTER'S SCAMMER LIST on: March 06, 2013, 09:52:14 PM
I am not in control of it. The community makes and verifies the claims.

Then take tradefortress off the list.
This +1.
This +2.  TF is not a scammer at all.
1247  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] 3D Printing Service for BTC http://www.3dp4btc.com on: March 06, 2013, 03:19:44 PM
I recently just got a 3D printer myself, and found a couple people willing to accept BTC for filament and supplies:

Open Source Powered Cool guys, recently bought a bunch of colors from them.

ProtoParadigm Good selection of stuff, I just got laser cut spools so I can limit the exposure of my stash.

I also spoke with the guy who runs Makers Tools Works in #reprap and he seemed pretty hip to accept BTC in the near future as well.  Send him an email requesting BTC payments, and they should get on board pretty soon.

I only have a wee little Printrbot Jr., and I'm still learning to ropes.  Managed to get it running rather stable though, a couple 8+ hour prints under my belt (in PLA).  I might be interested in printing some of the smaller (130mm x 110mm x 100mm) things out for you if you had too much of a backlog, or helping out with design/modeling/conversion of formats.

Good luck, BTW.  It's awesome to see what you guys are doing. XD

**EDIT**

I forgot to add that I, too, have dabbled with a "Bitcoin Coin" in the past...

OMG.  How did you get the QR on there?  I've been trying that for weeks.

On a side note, I use the Rep and Rep2, and I recently built a Printrbot JR (worst instructions ever).
1248  Economy / Lending / Re: 5 BTC Loan Request on: March 05, 2013, 10:57:06 PM
Hello, I would like a small loan of 5BTC to be paid in two weeks or less (repaid 5.2). I want to buy ASICMINER shares with it.

I don't have an OTC account yet (Silly me). But I have a proof of funds if you want. I would sign a message proving my ownership to an address with over 150 shares of ASICMINER. Of course the proof is the address being included in the dividends transactions and in the original verification transactions.

Thank you dear lenders in advance.

I could buy 5btc of ASIC shares in my name.  Then when you send me the 5.2btc, I would transfer the shares over to you.

You OK with that?
No.  He can't scam you if you keep the shares!
1249  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] 3D Printing Service for BTC http://www.3dp4btc.com on: March 05, 2013, 10:35:51 PM

So, you would be able to print based on the .STL file?

Yep, as long as the surfaces are well oriented and it's without holes.  Some scanned objects can have artifacts which need to be cleaned up prior to printing.  In general,  STL files are the only thing we currently accept as a data format, though it's a pretty common export format at this point.   IF someone has an OBJ that they REALLY want to print, we can probably help them out if we have to.
You can convert the OBJ to STL pretty easily, IIRC.  I get to use the 3D printers at my local library whenever I want (I volunteer there twice a week).  Free plastic and everything! Cheesy

Also, I don't have the STL off hand, but it was from thingiverse IIRC.
1250  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] 3D Printing Services on: March 05, 2013, 10:11:35 PM
If you don't like him, I can do it for a pretty reasonable price.  You'd have to make it relatively small though (I don't want to spend all day printing it Cheesy).
1251  Economy / Lending / Re: Bitcoin-Financial.com on: March 05, 2013, 10:09:32 PM
I posted it here if you want to take a look at it and shoot me a offer
https://www.elance.com/job/38439742/proposals

The script is attached

I added another suggestion in your thread. I unfortunately lack the time to take too much of a deeper look into this. If that suggestions fails, you'd have to hire Gweedo or someone (don't work with gweedo, he's insane)

This is from another member who I was talking about coding with. No one will work with you or give you a good word cause your actions.
So its not just me that thinks gweedo pollutes the forums just check around you will see it in plenty of places.

But yea back to the point its getting worked on. It's just a shell to the account access account.bitcoin-financial.com is the only address that matters. SSL was installed today takes up to 72 hours to aim at the new DNS.

You forgot to take the UID off of the name you were trying to hide, so it still leads to the profile.
1252  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM - Coinabul owe me 81btc on: March 05, 2013, 10:02:15 PM
Should this be added to the pending scammer list?
No, it's been stated several times that coinabul will probably solve this in a nice way.  I've, personally, had a good order with them.

They are not a scam.
1253  Economy / Lending / Re: 5 BTC Loan Request on: March 05, 2013, 06:35:37 PM
How do you pay it back if the stock nosedives?
He doesn't.  And he probably won't pay anyways.
1254  Economy / Services / Re: Invest in the U.S. Stock Market!! on: March 05, 2013, 01:20:59 AM
what are you stupid? GLBSE and NYSE is totally different
He means unlicensed exchanges / broker-dealers (this).
1255  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Ziggap Bitcoin Sales Service on: March 05, 2013, 01:17:04 AM
[...]
But I do see where the confusion perhaps arose. Could we get a clarification that Ziggap will in fact be repaying their obligations in full, on-time, as promised?

As opposed to something like this:

A loan FOR a business is not the same thing as a loan TO a business. How could Ryan or Stormy have taken a loan AS a business when the loan was used to create the business? It didn't exist before that.

Do you see how there are first and last names up there on the loan, but there are none anywhere on the IPO documentation or the website?

I guess this should be done, but this is pretty pointless to talk about IMO.  Aethero has been around for a long time and has over 500 points on OTC (all from very trustworthy people).  I don't think he'll default on his loan.
1256  Economy / Lending / Re: Bitcoin-Financial.com on: March 05, 2013, 01:08:00 AM
Oh, ok.  The bitcoin-keys site actually looked pretty cool.

Best of luck!

Thanks for all the great input, but the figures speak there own.

Uh, are you seriously doing business with that site?  Half of the links don't work, the site is inconsistent for half of the pages, and it downright looks like crap.

That does not encourage business.

no he playing business man no one would send money to a site that looks like a nigerian scammer developed LOL
Thanks for the input Gweedo we all know the community values your comments.
danieldaniel we just moved sites from bitcoin-keys.com all business was held on there.
The website was being worked on today, do not know how far they got.

Gweedo whens the last time your business did 10K+ in sales......
1257  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MASTER'S SCAMMER LIST on: March 05, 2013, 12:42:02 AM
Sublime, SynOps has been here for a long time.  Check his OTC ratings, not just the forums: http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=Synops.

I have a 3D printed Bitcoin.  It's not the exact one that you linked, but it was from thingiverse.  http://grab.by/kpVO

1260  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MPOE-PR's list of things you always suspected were scams but never dared say so. on: March 04, 2013, 11:19:42 PM
MPOE: You realize that CoinBase is legally allowed to do what they do, right?  It's blatantly listed in their TOS, so it's not a scam.  Their customers agreed to follow those rules.
