I am interested in your account. Which full signature campaign is the account enrolled in?
Same as yours, its currently on the bitmixer.io signature campaign. Hope you are really interested and not just posting to raise post counts heh, I am really interested in your account. Is it possible to bid 0.1 for your account? IMO, 0.12 is a little high. Sorry its not possible but 0.12 BTC is the least I can ask for the account. Take note its a sr member with a high potential activity and with good quality posts, definitely worth it for only 0.12 BTC (minimum) I agree with you but it still needs 42 more days to become a potential hero member. Sending you a PM.

Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: My first miner! Where should I point it?
|
on: November 23, 2015, 09:30:31 AM

Hi guys, I just received my first miner - a USB sapphire. I know it's pretty much useless nowadays, but the thing was $5...figured I might as well mess around and learn the ropes Where would be a good place to start mining (SHA256)? Should I point the thing at whatever new shitcoin comes along & pray its value rises? Solo mine a less-shittier-shitcoin and hope to win big? I've only successfully connected to LEAcoin, where the pool said I was hashing @ 900+ MH/s...when the miner was advertised @ 330MH/s Thanks in advance for any help, I'm sure more questions will pop up here soon Sure, slush is good, go ahead with that. But don't expect to make much with this. Don't do any altcoin, stick to BTC. It would be simpler too. Anyhow just keep in mind that it will take a very long time just to make it over the minimum dust payment threshold. And when you do there will be a fee of ... 100k satoshi, is it? Why do you say 'stick to BTC'? I figure as I'm going up against everything from single ant S7's to giant mining farms, it'd prove a higher chance to mine some random altcoin with the hopes its price rises one day. Maybe I'm looking at it all wrong? Thanks in advance! Most altcoins have a mining profitability lower than bitcoins so I would be better to mine bitcoins and buy your preferred altcoin with that money. You would get more bank for the buck that way.

there are a bunch of antminers on ebay that are sold with an included power supply you cna buy one of those
otherwise i would go with corsair mostly(fully modular), and maybe cooler master
My experience with cooler master is not really good. But that is related to the merchant i bought it at. Corsair however are the best i experienced. Very reliable and they honor their warrant. I sent 3 back and they sent me 3 new ones. yeah usually after corsair it is recommended to buy seasonic, which are even better, they ar enot manufactered by flextronic, like corsair If your running a large scale farm buying multiple Corsair PSU's will only add more time to your ROI so I prefer the BITMAIN ones.

well since you will be mining from an office, and if you have the money,i would suggest an antminer s5. For Home use the S5 has very loud fans, but since it will be in an office, then go for it! As far as the PSU goes,i would recommend you not to go to cheap and buy one with an 80+ gold rating. make Sure it comes with enough 6 pin pcie connectors.
If your buying an Antminer you can buy the PSU made by BITMAIN. That would be more cost effective than buying a general PSU.

Mining has become very competitive in the recent times. I am just buying more coins and holding on to them until the price increases.
Even with free power it would take quite some time to get an ROI.

What are account on bitcointalk.org worth with todays value of btc?
-Jr member -Member -Full Member -Sr Member -Hero Member -Legendary
I would pay the following for bitcointalk accounts. -Jr member: 0.001 -Member: 0.005 -Full Member: 0.03-0.04 -Sr Member: 0.07-0.08 -Hero Member: 0.1-0.15 -Legendary: ~0.2-0.3 are you willing to sell your account for 0.04 , i will pay extra 0.01tip imo my account is worth 0.2btc ,normally seniors are 0.13-0.2btc Its what they are willing to buy for, knowing very well that accounts sell for more. You know, buy low, sell at marketprice. Buying low and selling high is the only way to profit from bitcointalk accounts after the closure of many high paying signature campaigns.

My biggest suggestion is I would move "8] Lending" to high. You can see a LOT of people in scam thread who have been burned from loans.
Even sites like BTC Jam that are suppose to help you if the person defaults gives you their info and wishes you luck. There just is not enough safeguards as most will not have collateral for entire loan or they would not need it. So I would rank high, but might be just me.
I agree with notlist3d, Lending is a very risky business because there is nothing you can do when someone defaults on your loan. Even with their personal information you need lots of paperwork and additional money to try to get your loan back.

I will buy yore account for 0.02 BTC. PM me if your interested.
i can not send you that account for 0.02btc because due to the terms of the auction i would have got the bidded amount of first and second highest bidder. That means 0.02 + 0.018 = 0.038btc if you want to buy the account for that much then send me the fumds to my address in my profile and paste the transaction link here or find a trusted escrow. I think second option is good for you. How about 0.03 for Buy it Now? The amount I am offering is almost close to the amount you would get from both bidders.
