821  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Will home mining become a myth in 2016 ? on: December 28, 2015, 09:40:40 AM

I mine 100 to 300 satoshi per day in average...
if I only mine 50 to 100 it will not change much for my life (lol)

That's not mining, that's barely even being a "lottery" player.

No...it's not a "lottery player" because I do not mine solo...I mine in pools.
I mine more for testing how the pools work.
Perhaps I will never see a single satotoshi from my mining in many pools...but it does not matter.

But I hope a payout from CKPool where I have "accumutated" more than 10000 satoshi now.
It is why I propose the "co-mining" service.
There is no point in mining such low amounts with any hardware because the mined amount will never be able to cover the electric costs.

Browsing a few faucets might get you 10000 satoshis faster than waiting for a payment from CKPool.
822  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: THIS IS AN ISSUE: Bitcoin mining network uses a min. of 257 Megawatts per hour. on: December 28, 2015, 09:36:40 AM
We run on 100% hydro-electric power so fossil fuel use is not an issue.    Many mines do not have this access so it does create pollution.  What I would say is that Bitcoin is worth the pollution because it decentralizes power to people in a fairer manner.
I agree with you. The pollution caused by bitcoin mining is worth it because it decentralizes the money system.

I think that after some time we will be seeing more green mining farms in operation.
823  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is mining still a good idea? on: December 28, 2015, 08:59:47 AM
It should be a hobby and stay a hobby. There is no way you will get your money out of it.
The miners market is run by big time bitcoin farms now.
There are plenty of home miners mining now. Sure larger farms are slowly taking control with a diversity of proucts.
But since mining (when you have a low electricty fee) is still profitable, there is enough incentive for miners to keep on mining.

Hobby miners do have the advantage though over home.  Able to do larger amount of watts, and also most hobby use 220/240 so that is a decent advantage when getting new gear and PSU's.   A good server PSU is less then a nice ATX almost always.

Home miners do have the advantage during winter of using them to heat a house, but some miners are loud so just varies.  I think we will see more go to hobby size or very little at home.  Not sure 100 percent which way the market will go.
After some time most home miners won't be making a profit on their mining hardware and they might switch to hobby mining or quite the mining game altogether.

@Windpower: Stop creating alt accounts to spam your signature.

@OP: Since this loan has been funded and repaid you should lock this thread.
826  Economy / Lending / Re: sport tipser needs 0.03 btc loan! on: December 28, 2015, 08:45:00 AM
You need to offer a valid collateral for someone to fulfill this loan. If you don't have any collateral you should close this thread else you will get negative trust.
827  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.03 loan on: December 28, 2015, 08:43:10 AM
@OP: If this loan is funded on another thread you should lock this thread to avoid confusion.

835  Economy / Lending / Re: NEED A No Collateral LOAN OF 0.001 BTC on: December 24, 2015, 05:30:19 PM
I don't need it back. That was to make you regret for posting such a thread.
Why would i regret for this, i dont understand what you want to say?
I'm really serious abut this loan you just helped me, i dont want those coins as favor.
Pleaae provide the address otherwise i will send them back to the address from where i got those coins.
I think he meant that you will regret this because you will receive more negative feedback due to this.
Dont think he means the same what you are saying but could be if i was unable to pay in next 24 hours
I don't see how you could be unable to repay this loan. You can repay this by making 3-4 post since your enrolled in Yobit(IIRC, They offer daily payments).

837  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Bitcointalk Legendary forum account on: December 24, 2015, 12:15:20 PM
Are you able to provide many information about your account? Then, don't you consider that price is very very high? If I want to see some ROI, I have to work and wait many month. I advice you to reduce the price to 1 BTC, it will be great.
Your asking him to reduce the price to 1 BTC.

The current starting bid is 0.6 BTC if you bid there is a quite good chance you will get this for under 1 BTC.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining btc and alt on: December 24, 2015, 08:27:46 AM
altcon have their section, but i can tell yu that what you want to do does not work anymore, it's better to mine bitcoin directly

in the past the alt mining + exchanging for bitcoin was a better way to acquire many bitcoin faster than simply mining bitcoin

then, many scammers has appeared with many scam coins, and the altscene faded away slowly, now the section is almost dead

it's sad i remember that i had a great fun instamining almost all altcoin of late 2013 and 2014 with a gpu rig  Grin
Altcoin mining can still be done but you need to do your research first. There are some new altcoins that might have the potential to succeed.
839  Economy / Lending / Re: Requesting .01 Quick Repay on: December 24, 2015, 07:33:56 AM
I would give it to you but your collateral is to week. It is worth around 0.003 BTC according current market price.
His account is now almost worthless after he received a negative feedback for selling trust.
840  Economy / Lending / Re: Duomo's Micro/Mini Lending Service on: December 24, 2015, 07:28:13 AM
for me, do i have eligibility to loan .01 without collateral? Huh
wanna know if you want.

What would you desired period of time for the loan be and repayment be ? I'd be willing to consider this since you have previously paid back a loan before.
7 days, 8~10% interest in total.
i will provide address if you grant.
luckily you saw that the oldest -ve trust is the rip off. Smiley

Will you sign a message with this address ?
