2141  Economy / Lending / 1$ BTC Loans! on: August 01, 2014, 04:26:28 PM
So Guys I decided to give small loans for now. What do you think of it? I will increase the amounts as my membership upgrades.
Rules:
Newbies Don't even try to post as it will be waste of time. Unless you can provide a collateral
Max Loan:150$ MAX  Cheesy
No PMs.

Escrow can be used too.

You must provide a reason for getting the loan and How will you return it. I will only offer this loan first to only 1 member as i don't have that much trust on community( Just saw a vip hero member scamming)  Grin

So lets see who will take this loan.

Update: Currently Paused as i need funds for my website.

Then if you let choose member there number and lets say u sell 10 tickets and all the members choose between 1-100 what will be the chance that they will get their lucky number?

You would be better of that they chose between 1-10 and then their will be a 1/10 chance that they win the lottery.
2143  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Lottery on: August 01, 2014, 01:40:32 PM
You can still use random.org Just google this "random number generator" and select the "integer" result. there choose how many integers you want. If 1 winner than "1" in the first box if 3 winners choose "3" in the first box. And let your members select any number between 1 and 10. and the number generated by random.org will be the winner.

Don't forget to send 1% of the total amount for helping you  Grin
2144  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Lottery on: August 01, 2014, 01:28:14 PM
Make member select their lucky number it may become interesting then. And you should be not a part of that as you are already a full member. 0.01 BTC is still big amount and may be no one will invest. Try it to be reduced to 1$ and may be you will get success.

Edit: Don't mind this, Don't steal or use other members ideas. This idea is same like me i introduced few days ago But no one was interested  Grin

You should check the millions of lottery websites that exist and ask yourself: can I do something different, can I add some exiting feature?

Bitcoin lottery like this please name them.
2147  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lottery Discussion on: August 01, 2014, 11:35:06 AM
You would need a system which proves you are picking it at random and place money in escrow.

i am building a official website not escrow stuff. i will ask my builder to put Provable fair too. Anything else?
2148  Economy / Gambling / Lottery Discussion on: August 01, 2014, 11:22:56 AM
In what type of lottery will you participate guys? I am planing to build a lottery website. I have come up with some rules

1st prize 5$
2nd prize 2.5$
3rd prize 2$

Ticket will cost 1$ and once 10 tickets are sold a draw will be held by the system. The same model could be applied for expensive tickets like 5$, 10$ Can this website get success. What do you prefer as i need your opinion urgently on this matter to make a deal.

any website creators are also welcome. I have a budget of 300$ will this be enough?
I want the site to have BTC and some other Cryptocurrenies.
2149  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Lottery Result Announced! 1st Place Funbitcoins! 2nd Round Started! on: July 31, 2014, 05:14:46 PM
Can't believe I won the first prize  Shocked Thanks

But even I won the biggest prize, it seems I still cannot withdraw anything  Sad Look like I must win the first prize at least twice before I can withdraw. Sounds not good enough

Anyway, I've updated my post for the round 2

You are getting free BTC for just editing a post. I have not got any funds from investors till now. I will be giving out of my pocket Hoping that few members will invest at least 30 cents. Sounds not good enough Right? Anyway Congratz for being the winner.

i am not serious  Grin i am asking the price so you think i am not serious???
You got a cool idea here.

I would like to first get any reviews from seniors members too first. 500 Bucks is still little out of my range. Have you done any work earlier like this.
2152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to provide Escrow service? on: July 31, 2014, 03:55:20 PM
Yeah i am not planing to start any thing soon. I am trying to sell stuff currently once enough trust is made up and get some respect from community then and only then i will start.

See i will have to exchange later too. I am thinking to reduce the price too. Probux doesn't allow Bitcoin. So if you do exchange of BTC to Payza or Neteller you can lose upto 5% of btc amount, then receiving cost on Payza 2.5%+0.25$ And then investing in Probux adds more 2.5% and 0.25$. Its Still very fair price. If you think over it. That means if you invest yourself, 10+% approx is lost. And I am rewarding my affiliates too Which increases the costs too.

 Huh Huh Huh

2157  Economy / Service Discussion / advertisers? on: July 31, 2014, 12:58:57 PM
This topic is for advertisers.
Please review this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=718116.0
And tell me if these rates are acceptable? 1 more question are here advertisers any way? I have not seen a single advertiser who wants to get Direct referrals etc. Most of the time they are the companies.
2158  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to provide Escrow service? on: July 31, 2014, 11:21:03 AM
Step 1.  Participate in discussions on this forum regularly for 1 to 2 years.  Contribute usefully to discussions and demonstrate over this period of time that you are intelligent, even tempered, and fair.

Step 2. During this 1 to 2 years time, engage in transactions, and build a reputation as a reliable, honest, trustworthy individual.  Assist others with no benefit to yourself, but simply because it is the right thing to do.  Demonstrate a strong sense of morality and ethics.

Step 3. Learn to use PGP for encrypted communications with those that desire it. Learn to use PGP to provide and verify digital signatures.

Step 4. Consider all the things that might go wrong in a transaction, and structure your standard escrow agreement to account for as many of those possible issues as you can.  This way there will be no surprises or frustrations with the way that you handle the settling of disputes.

Step 5. Get a second computer to run Armory offline.  Learn to generate and use paper wallets offline in a safe and secure manner.  Hold all escrows in paper wallets stored in a secure location with backups so you will never risk losing your customer's bitcoins to theft or hardware failure.

Step 6. Do it for the benefit of the community, and not because you believe it will bring a profit.  In the past month, I've spent more than 20 hours handling over a dozen escrows for a total profit of $0.78 for the month.  There are much better ways to make money.  There are several very trusted people in this forum that already provide escrow either for free or for very cheap prices.  Nobody is going to want to pay more money to a less trusted person. Those of us that do it, do it because we don't like to see newbies getting scammed or shut out of potential transactions due to lack of trust.  We feel that providing a safe and secure business environment here at bitcointalk benefits the entire community.

Step 7. Create a new thread announcing your willingness to offer escrow services. Add a link to your announcement thread to your forum signature. Mention your willingness to the two most commonly used escrow lists on the forum. Wait and see if you are as trusted as you think you are.

Step 8. Provide your customers with information on how to contact you outside of the forum so they can complete the transaction if the forum goes down or disappears for some reason.

Best answer nicely summed up. Thanks.
