1501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $350 during november? on: October 29, 2015, 03:40:00 PM
I think Stability is more important the price rice, If we can get a stable 310+$ at the end of the year it would be pretty good, Fluctuation is one of the reason bitcoin hasn't gone fully widespread yet.
1502  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: October 28, 2015, 11:00:13 AM
When BTC started, nobody had any and it was worthless, so it was right to give away thousands of BTC to make it popular. All that has changed. Now that BTC's worth something, now that companies are building on BTC, now that serious business transactions are made with bitcoin, it's about time for faucets to adapt.

BTC is real. It's money, and you've got to work to earn some. I hope all faucets will disappear in 2015. Faucets are hurting bitcoin by making some people believing you can get it while doing nothing sitting in your home. No, BTC isn't like that, and it shouldn't be any easier to get than any fiat currency. Even for small amounts.

Believe it or not, My Referrals make me around 60 K Satoshi a week, Me without even logging into my account, Once a week i go and withdraw what i have earned. If you take in real longterm consideration, of about 10-20 years, Just like back in the day, 5 bitcoins were given each roll. These 700- 800 satoshi per roll may become 70-80$ or may be even higher. Its not bad to have the additional income which in future may be life changing one. Bitcoin will create new elites thats for sure.
1503  Economy / Speculation / Re: $300 before the end of this day or nah? on: October 25, 2015, 10:47:54 AM
$294 on preev. It looks like it will break 300$ on preev today. But main thing here is stability we dont want $350 and back to $ 270. I hope it remains stable.
1504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Realistically does bitcoin have any competition ? on: September 19, 2015, 11:57:40 AM
I understand there are 600 other coins and that banks might be involved in trying to put in place there own mechanisms based on the blockchain but now that bitcoin has become as big as it has is there even a 10% chance that anything could replace bitcoin in the next few years.

I think no, Because Bitcoin has become something like Dollar, Which has placed a value in users mind. But with a little different way as we know because of mining.
1505  Economy / Digital goods / WTB Fifa 15 key on: September 06, 2015, 12:21:52 PM

1506  Other / Off-topic / Re: What you do with BITCOIN ? on: September 06, 2015, 11:57:40 AM
What you do with BTC

Where you spend?

Where you sell BTC ?

Where you buy BTC ?

1) Buy stuff
2) Mostly online stores
3) Payza
4) Mostly earn it Tongue
1507  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: anyone rolled 10000 ? on: September 03, 2015, 12:32:52 PM
I have been rolling on the site for quite a while, 2+ years, Around 2-3 times per day, I have not seen or won the biggest prize. The max i won was 36K satoshi.

As  for hitting the 10000 i think the possibility of hitting it is very small,
1508  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Why do people use faucets? on: August 30, 2015, 05:56:31 AM
They're so stupid, I could easily tell you to get a job but there are other things you can do online which will earn you alot more.
Checkout /r/beermoney for example.

It takes 5 seconds do a roll on freebitco.in and we can win upto 1 Btc. What are we losing here? People use it just for luck etc purposes, Faucets cant be replaced by a job. and freebitco.in has lottery so what are we losing. I have like 3 active referrals and i make around 50K satoshi from them.
1509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the deflationary nature of BTC "encourage hoarding and delay spending"? on: August 29, 2015, 02:28:42 PM
Most recent entry to "Bitcoin Obituaries" got me thinking..

Quote
We have yet to see any meaningful adoption in the retail world and the institutional world seems quite lukewarm. . . . The deflationary quality of Bitcoin - by design and not by accident - is a major drawback. Deflation naturally encourages hoarding and delays spending, which is the behavior we are witnessing with BTC holders.

Original article here:

Wondering peoples opinions on this.. Does the deflationary nature of BTC "encourage hoarding and delay spending"?
If so, is that a huge problem? .. and can it be addressed?

I do get the impression with Bitcoin that there are more speculators (on this forum at least) than people who really want to use the technology in their every day lives.

what i think is that the bubble made the situation worse for bitcoin, Many people started to look at bitcoin as something which will make them rich quick so this increased the holding. And the effect is still not gone many people just buy bitcoins to become rich.

1512  Economy / Speculation / Re: New low? on: August 25, 2015, 04:43:53 PM
$220+ on preev now, Looks like bitcoin is going back up again. What has caused this? Any good news going around? I think bitcoin will be a better place if people could learn not to panic, What we see all the time is people who want to get rich fast start to panic sell bitcoin if bitcoin falls by few dollars. Then something good happens and the price starts to restore and they come back again.

Personally now i am believing $210-220$ will be the bottom low even with the XT Drama.
1513  Economy / Speculation / Re: New low? on: August 24, 2015, 05:49:15 PM
looks like in 24 hours it will be 1BTC to $199 USD, lets wait and see and maybe it will just play around $210-$220

lets hope so but the trend is getting little permanent yeah at this rate within 24 hours i think bitcoin will be below  $200, and this XT drama will last till January so this means it will continue to drop.

216@BitcoinWisdom too.

Still, with the World falling apart; China >10% down, Latin American currencies in a 22 years low, oil at 39USD, Bitcoin isn't suffering much.

Bitcoin should be doing better than, If other fails bitcoin should succeed, This is basic economics, Gold is crashing oil is at $39. But  bitcoin should be booming but this is not the case instead it is crashing too.

You seriously compare latin american currencies with bitcoin? I think bitcoin is more often pegged with USD/EUR.
1514  Economy / Speculation / Re: New low? on: August 24, 2015, 05:22:35 PM
this price is from preev

and it looks like it's still going to same direction which is down  Sad
i'm still hoping for $240-$250 at least before end of August
It was just some weeks before the bitcoin XT drama started that everyone was saying that Bitcoin to $300 at the end of August.
And now everyone is hoping for $250.
Wow what a beautiful dilemma.

World of bitcoin Cheesy No one can predict a day ahead Smiley

$210 now on btc-e
$216 on preev now so it is selling below $210 for now, Lets hope it doesnt starts a panic sell.
1515  Other / Meta / Re: Potential activity? on: August 24, 2015, 02:11:15 PM
You know girls, She may never use it Tongue I am thinking this account will be sitting here for a while Cheesy Unless she is really interested in it. Any ways thanks again, locking this thread.
1516  Other / Meta / Re: Potential activity? on: August 24, 2015, 01:42:44 PM
Hey thekools, lemme explain it in simple terms. Potential activity is like  "saved" activity points that you can "use" if you have enough posts, say if you have potential activity of 200 but have only 100 posts then you can get to 200 activity with 100 more posts, without waiting for the nxt activity period.
So each 2 weeks you get 14 activity points and if you manage to post even 1 post in the activity period, the rest 13 are "saved". Say you do it like this
1st activity period - 1 post- potential activity +13(Total posts 1, activity 1, total potential activity 13)
2nd activity period- 1 post- potential activity +13( Total posts 2 , activity 2, total potential activity 26)
And so on. Hope you understand it.

Thanks for explaining, now i understand what people means by potential account Cheesy (i'm still a newbie here even though i have a member rank hahaha)

Lol I was senior member i did not know it too Cheesy

Thanks "DiscoverCebu" I think i get it now

the account has potential activity of 125 i think and currently it is sitting on 85 posts and 85 activity so if i post 40 times in next two days it will become full member account? Actually my sis is getting interested in bitcoin So i thought i would give her that account.
1517  Other / Meta / Potential activity? on: August 24, 2015, 01:12:10 PM
Hi guys i want to know 1 thing what is potential activity, I have an alt account "thekool1alt" i created it when my this account got hacked. It has potential activity of 126 I checked it from this website http://www.satoshiquiz.com/bitcointalk/getactivity.php

What does that mean? If i post few times it will get to 126 activity or full member rank in the same week? But there is a limit of 14 activity per 2 weeks i think. so how does this work out?
1518  Economy / Services / Re: Whiteboard Animation Videos $5 on: August 24, 2015, 12:55:48 PM
Bump after a long time, Finished 2 more videos but these are private for now as the users asked it to be.

currently looking for orders Smiley
1519  Economy / Speculation / Re: New low? on: August 24, 2015, 12:12:14 PM
I can only speculate, but i'm hoping for 180-200 price range, and did my trades accordingly. I may be wrong, but having coins sold @ 270 to 260,
even if it shoots up, i can still rebuy with profit..

Looks like we are going there. Below $220 Right now, The poll is showing the right result i think we will be seeing this price range soon, I hope bitcoin doesn't crashes. if this triggers a panic sell me may not see $200 range for a while than.
1520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is big problem in using of bitcoin on: August 24, 2015, 11:04:59 AM
what problem do you have in bitcoin.

Fluctuation is the main killer for bitcoin going mainstream. A daily swing of Thousand dollars would cause business to start and collapse daily Tongue thats why business use bitpay etc. All we need is small fluctuations when bitcoin goes mainstream. The only way bitcoin can take over is fiat dies or if fiat is around businesses would be hesitant to store profits in bitcoin.
