1261  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How muh does it cost to do an animated video? on: August 08, 2017, 06:01:51 PM
Can people give me a ballpark figure how much its costs to make a professional looking a couple of minute professional animation with voice over etc to explain a project.

Are there people on this site that will do it?

Well it truly depends on how much customization you want. Most people on fiverr use templates mostly stolen from the internet. The good ones cost around 100 to 150 dollars with voice over synced, i have made couple of animated videos in the past, if i were to make a unique video from scratch, i would charge anywhere from 500 dollars to 1000, but if i were to use templates the cost would have been around 200 to 250 dollars.
1262  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: best affiliate program for website on: August 08, 2017, 05:23:54 PM
Im working on a project which is bitcoin related

what are the best ways or software solutions to integrate affiliate marketing to my project?

What kind of project is it? WordPress based? Or shopify based one? I need more information to suggest you one, you can try clickbank, if you are looking for affiliate marketers. Can you give a bit more detail about your project, only then can i give my final recommendation.

im working on an ICO and i want to add affiliate marketing to get more traffic for my ico

Well i will recommend you to make a signature campaign for your ico, As it will be too much of a task to handle a Affiliate team, how will you award your affiliates who will bring in the traffic? you will need a custom tracking system which won't count multiple hits if you will pay them for per visit and so on, In my opinion if you are serious about your coin, make a signature campaign and promote it from there, Else you will be heading towards a mess. Anyway best of luck!

@Thekool1s South Africa is not in the best of form for a very long time and they are loosing a lot while touring,so it is not a very big surprise for me as England does have a very good team at home and with ABD in their squad they did miss a world class player who could change the match in any situation, not much interesting things about cricket in recent months.

I agree its been a while since they have won a test series, ABD was a big loss for them, South Africa are still a strong team on paper but they are not performing on the ground which matters the most, Likes of imran tahir are being rested. who could have turned the game towards RSA but "could been, have been" doesn't matter in cricket. You have got to play with what you have got and South Africa Played no where near to the potential they had.

SA played well today but the bowlers did not do a good job and gave away runs at almost 6 per over. Every bowler had an economy rate of 6-7 and only Dala and Pretorius could get wickets. The openers played really badly and they would have struggled in the end of the match had Iyer not made 140 runs and taken the game in his control.

No scoring 200 runs per innings is not good batting period. They should have batted like England. They were too defensive in my opinion. Its modern day cricket, You are expected to make 300 runs on the first day of the match, But South Africa has failed to reach that mark countless times in this series. Just poor batting, Can't blame the bowlers too much here. Also you have got to respect the way England Batted. They have handled the pressure way better than South Africa did. Anyway looking forward to CPL.
1264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ㉫ ENJIN COIN [ICO] Ultimate Gaming Currency + Virtual Goods Platform on: August 08, 2017, 09:14:17 AM
So i went through the whitepaper, I really liked the idea behind this coin, As a unity Developer, I would recommend you guys to push up the unity SDK a bit ahead, The more Indie studios you can get on to your side the better it will be. Getting a AAA publisher on your Side can be quite a challenging task, so my recommendations will be to get indie and smalls studios on board asap, Also i will recommend you guys to get some mobile developers on board too, If you can get SuperCell (Creators of Clash of clans) on Board it will be a big push for the Enjin Coin. Also Partnering up with websites like Miniclip and Kongregate can help Enjin Coin a lot.

Also if i am not wrong Google Play Doesn't allows the developers to use any other payment gateway except their own one for In Game Purchases, how do you plan to tackle that?

1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 07, 2017, 06:36:44 PM
As expected England has won convincingly, South Africa was down and out after the first inning. It was a good fight by amla and faf thou, but in order to win a test match to you need to fight as a team but that didn't happen for RSA, a good series win for the Englishmen, thou they need to work on the upper batting order, south Africa has clearly missed bowlers like dayl styen. Anyway a fantastic series comes to an end. Looking forward to Bangladesh vs Australia A

Bought in for 365 to a poker tournament, cashed 18th out of 1442 23 hours later for 4.2k .... good times, but even better run good! Invested it all into coin.

That's an Incredible run. You have got skills that's for sure. How did your investment yielded? was it profitable?

My portfolio is up around 42% since investment. bought BTC around 1.4k US in April. plan on a withdraw in November to hit the next tournament series.

Wow! all i can say is best of luck for the tournament!
1267  Economy / Speculation / Re: thoughts on rally on the week on: August 07, 2017, 07:53:24 AM
in the past month or so, there has been a lot of negativity in the media regarding bitcoin. the news from all sites were talking about bitcoin splitting into two and things like that. the speculators were saying price will drop hard because of it. and on top of it all, there were a lot of FUD to make everything worse.

all this meant people either sold and got out or kept their money and decided not to invest in bitcoin until things become clear.

now they are crystal clear. Smiley
we know that SegWit has 100% support and it will be locked in, in about 1 day. and there is no split because of the 100% support. so the first things that I said (the first paragraph) is now moot. this means all those who sold and all those who had money to invest buy were waiting are coming back now. they are investing all that money back and price goes up. when something like this happens it is also followed by a Fear OF Missing Out (FOMO) and people invest even more. this can mean an even sharper rise upwards and a very big short term profit.

Totally agreeing with you here, I have joined many groups on facebook, All of them were trolling when bitcoin went under $2000 after the $2700 mark Last month, I told them that it is the best time to buy but not many agreed with my speculation and a month later we have achieved the highest Bitcoin Price in history, I just hate trolls who don't even have a single clue about the technology they are talking about, Same can be said for these troll websites, They work for the whales and get a nice cut from the profits. Anyway interesting 4 months ahead. I think we can achieve stable $4K by the end of the year.
1268  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: AI Bot For Trading BTC Coin Pairs on Poloniex on: August 06, 2017, 08:47:52 PM
Well if it is truly an AI bot, it will improve by time, i will try it out tomorrow and do some digging on it, i have seen some bots which can predict the markets, will be interesting to see if they can predict btc and altcoin prices too. But i don't think it is a real AI BOT, as It requires a lot of history data of price movements and time to crunch those numbers. Will update this thread tomorrow.

1270  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What programming language should I learn for Bitcoin PTC site? on: August 06, 2017, 08:21:31 PM
I have basic knowledge on Programming Language. So that it will not hard for me to learn new programming language.
If I want to develop Bitcoin PTC site which will use FaucetHub API. And to develop such project, I should have knowledge on HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSON, MY SQL, PHP. What do you think what other language should I learn. Smiley

Well most of the ptc websites use php and mysql for user databases for backend, as for front end you should know how to code in html and css, if you can learn a front end framework like bootstrap it help you a lot, also let me tell you that, developing a ptc website from scratch is no easy task, you will have to keep in mind all the edge scenarios. if you are a total newbie i won't recommend you to make a ptc website as your first project. Go small and then go big when you think you have all the skills polished, anyway good luck with this project.

In short, learn html css Javascript jquery ajax php and mysql, you should be good to go.

1272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Road to $10,000 How Bitcoin Price Broke $3,000 and What’s Ahead on: August 06, 2017, 08:00:22 PM
Bitcoin's price will keep increasing as there will be only 21 million coins, also the internet is reaching more and more people by each day, if i am not wrong there are around 2 billion people who are not connected to the internet, so the price potential to increase is still a lot. Also Bitcoin is still in the early adopters stage imo. Bright future ahead for the Bitcoin if something more revolutionary doesn't takes over it, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Biggest Wins/Losses and Recoveries while gambling? on: August 06, 2017, 07:45:23 PM
Most of the time my focus is over sports betting and usage of casinos were very low. This is due to the ease of prediction with sports events which is not that effective with casino and slot games. My biggest winning is around 600$ when the price of bitcoin was around $1000 and the biggest loss happened consecutively which was around $1500.

I am also player of sports betting, and in sports we use our mind and prediction then it really work and sometime we have no need of luck properly.
But your lose is really big, and i also have a big lost 0.2 btc within 2 years, and now it is equal with your lose.
But i accept my lose because i have no choice except to accept it.

Indeed it is true the chances of loss are really low if you truly understand the sport. IMO your loss is a bit on the high side $1500 consecutive losses , also how much did you bet for the $1000 win? Would love to hear about that win. Thank you both for sharing your experience.
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 06, 2017, 01:27:24 PM
Well India has won the match as expected. Srilanka will have to go in a long rebuilding phase IMO, They clearly need to work on their batting, as for India they did everything right from the word go. Also I am surprised that not many people are following the England Vs RSA match. The match is definitely on, England has a lead of 221 as of writing and they are 4 down. I think if they can get anything above 350 mark they will have total control over the match. Any how interesting match ahead.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Biggest Wins/Losses and Recoveries while gambling? on: August 06, 2017, 12:57:54 PM
If I remember correctly, biggest win was $800 from a roulette bet on a single number.

Wow! that's good, mind sharing the bet you placed for this.

The biggest win on my gambling history is on dice site,it might not be big but i can consider it as big for me its about 0.5 btc but sadly it was being lost back again on the house even more lets say 0.7 because i decided up to add funds to recover those loss which is really a bad decision instead of recovering it , i do lose even more.

Sorry to hear about your loss mate, Yeah unfortunately it has happened with a lot of gamblers. People try to recover the lost funds and end up losing even more. Anyway best of luck for the future.

My biggest win is in slots in bitvest but it is only a mistake because i setup my bot incorrectly that the bot multiply 10x every time it lose so when i about to stop the bot because i am losing very fast in a low chance it got 1 win and i won 0.5 BTC that time. I immediately withdrawed 0.4 and played the 0.1 so my biggest lose in that site is 0.1 BTC Smiley

Wow! Your luck is just amazing! That's all i can say about this! Plus you did the right thing when you won those 0.5 BTC, withdrawing 0.4 BTC was a smart move!

Unfortunately you may not come across here any recovery stories as most of the time those recovery attempts leads to further losses. Even if there will be in lesser number, probably they cannot have dealt with big money, I am sure.

The bankroll amount and wins/losses are not the big thing for the gamblers who are just enjoying gambling from faucet earning.

I believe most of the people here are not professional gamblers as they are just getting into gambling for the reason of their having some bitcoin or they are having the option to start gambling for free of cost. Hence there could not be any significant information could be collected here for any behavioral study purposes imho.

True, bitcoin doesn't have many professional gamblers. But i was just curious to see what have other fellow bitcointalk gamblers have experienced. I have seen some incredible stories so far, The amount won won't be that big but the returns some people have got are good.

Quote
I also one time own around 0.38 BTC because of wrong setting in a dice game. I realized this mistake after 6 consecutive losses and immediately wanted stop but before pressing a stop button got one win and it happened when Bitcoin prices were around 2500 range. But my biggest loss was around 0.8 BTC in few minutes when Bitcoin prices were around 320$.

Amazing! You have got the Luck gods by your side that's for sure. Thanks for sharing.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Biggest Wins/Losses and Recoveries while gambling? on: August 04, 2017, 06:29:20 PM
My biggest loss was when we bet for the nails. That was a nightmarish night. When I lost, my opponent cut off my nail, and it hurt so much. That was my biggest nightmare ever. I will never bet for my parts of the body. It is sick. And as for the recoveries, I always recover what I lost. I could not recover my nail. I always recover money.

Wow that's new, seriously never thought people would gamble their body parts. It must be painful as hell. I hope you can get some treatment for that. As for recoveries you got your bankroll back that's good enough. Mind sharing your biggest win?

I did 0.03 to over 1BTC on Bitbook when it was still operational. I made 11 or 12 consecutive all in winning bets on various sports. It was an incredible run but I didn't keep any logs lol. I don't care if you believe me or not. I know it was true  Grin
Losses are not so interesting  Cool

Wow that's quite a return you got there. Betting on sports the most safest option IMO if you Truly understand the sport you are gambling on. BTW you don't have to show any proofs, your word is good enough.

Quote
My biggest loss happened in Directbet site cricket betting I lost around 0.04 BTC, first time I bet multiple bets in a single game before starting that match. But my bad luck I won only 1 bet. And the same thing happened in Men's hockey world cup. I choose 4 teams to win a world cup before starting the event. One of my picks entered final, but unfortunately, they lost in the final game.

Ouch! That must have hurt you! I never place multiple bets on a single match. 1 bet does the trick for me. Anyway best of luck for the future.
1277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 04, 2017, 06:12:11 PM
India is clearly on top in this match, the only option for srilanka is to bat out the three days, which I don't see happening. They have already lost 2 wickets in one session and i think they will be all out by tomorrow and India will force the follow on.

On the other hand the England vs South Africa match is well balanced IMO, if england can reach around 330-350 from here they will have the upper hand in the match. My bets are on England and India.
1278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: August 04, 2017, 05:46:43 PM
The worst mistake I did when gambling was when I won on a certain dice site and it made me profit more than twice the amount I bet the amount with, what I did was I bet all the money including the profits I gained all in and lost all of them at once. I was in shock and even rub my eyes to see if I lost it all or not, that was plainly stupid of me to do that. Regretted it up until now and still could not believe why I did it.

Wow! That was pretty immature, mind sharing the figures you lost? I have seen people trying to recover money and losing their bankroll but opposite happened here. YOLO? Or just immature move?
1279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: August 04, 2017, 07:59:47 AM
What are some the more idiotic and stupid mistakes that you know you shouldn't have made but did anyway. Yes this includes other none gambling stuff like sending btc to the wrong address. I'm interested to find out the stupid things other people do.  Roll Eyes

Well the worst thing i have done is, actually believing that binary options websites are real. I lost around $100 on them. Then I learned that most of the websites use fake stats to manipulate the prices on the 3-4 decimal spaces, making the end customer lose money. This was the most stupid thing i have done. I didn't research enough and ended up losing my deposit in an hour.

It is foolish and Im sure that you dont understand what you are writing. The binary trading is actually not a gamble, you might see that it is almost the same as gambling but in reality it is not the same. In the end you are going to keep on making mistake if you dont even know what you are talking about

hahaha, Mate i have done my research, I have seen websites which help you launch your own binary option websites and they clearly say that you can adjust your profit margins in the admin panels. The Problem is the small 30 seconds trades. Also the way they use figures like 79.0592 etc which isn't obtained from no where. There are many legit ones out there but the Small 30 Second trades are total Fraud. No one can deny that.
1280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 03, 2017, 09:28:02 PM
Wow seriously! Many people here are blaming and shaming kholi, Just because he had few bad innings? Kholi is an class act! Just because he has got out of touch in few games doesn't means he is a shitty player.  Also Cricket is about teamwork! It's not a one man game! You can't always expect a player to perform! They are humans too!  Overall it was a Good day for India, interesting match ahead, i expect India to win this match too!
