1341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin Improve? on: June 14, 2017, 10:07:12 AM
So to my understanding, bitcoin has two big problems and one actually corresponds to other. That is increasing high fees or else late transactions.
So the question is, can bitcoin solve these issues? I mean with increasing value of bitcoin, won't fees always keep on increasing? Is there a solution to that?
And I think that solution will also solve the timing of transactions problem.
What do you say?

Well the solutions do exist. E.g.you use coinbase or xapo for dust transactions, the transactions are free between the users. You can always keep the spending amount in these wallets.

As for other solutions there is lightning network (long term) , Bip148 should temporary solve the high few rate, but eventually we will move toward lightning network. If bitcoin wants to become a day 2 day used currency.

Ethereum tackles the solution and continues to do so - you can be blind all you want and believe what the trolls here say, still does not make it true.

Alright this proves it, This guy is a troll. Did you bother reading the replies above you? Or Did you even bother to "Google"? The Fees are still hovering above $1.2 plus you failed to mention how much dust you were trying to transfer, Yes bitcoin has become inefficient recently to transfer dust, but so has ethereum. Just look at the current transaction fee.

1343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 14, 2017, 07:42:08 AM
Well another day of cricket is on our hands, Should be a quite simple one for England, My Bets are on England, If England wins the toss they should ask Pakistan to bat first and bowl them out quickly by making use of the conditions, As so far All the Matches Pakistan has played they have won chasing, it would be interesting to see how they perform when the tables are turned.
1344  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: looking for ad networks that pays in btc on: June 13, 2017, 08:16:29 PM
You can try peerfly they have some offer that has banner allowed so if you have related website or blog look for some offers there that fits to your website it can gives you more leads if its related website and peerfly are paying per action not only for clicks but they are paying sample email submit if someone click your offer banner they will redirect to a site where asking for email after send email by visitors you will receive i think around $1 to $20 per email..
And peerfly is newly accepting bitcoin as payout there so just check and find the awesome offer there that fits to your site..

Well first of all they don't pay on email submit, after submitting an email the user has to do a short survey which then rewards the publisher, often these surveys require purchases or subscriptions. So that's why they pay any where from $1 - $20. Its just a marketing gimmick to lure in newbies.

As for op i will recommend you to try adsterra, they do payout in bitcoins.

I don't know in which mutli verse you are living in but the last time i checked the average transaction fee for ethereum was around $1.4 for each transaction. So it doesn't matter which coin you use, you will end up paying the same amount of fees

Can't buy coffee anymore when Core has refused a blocksize increase and fees are more than the coffee.

Last time i checked, the average transaction fee for ethereum was around $1.4. Ethereum is facing the same problem as bitcoin right now. Ethereum is just promising a fix, we have yet to see it in action.
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 12, 2017, 08:58:27 PM
First of all congrats to Pakistan for the win, 2nd this is one heck of a tournament, it has already made me lose couple of hundred dollars as my third prediction in a row gets failed. Srilanka could have won this quite easily and i really feel bad for malinga.. Poor lad, 3 catches dropped on main stages. But it was just not their day. Any way the first semi final should be a pretty simple one. England knocking off Pakistan. I hope there are no more surprises in this tournament. We have had enough.

1349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep altcoins/crypto alive on: June 12, 2017, 07:36:07 AM
Hi guys,

I have my bitcoins since about a year. I fully support the concept of stateless currency, thats why I bought my first bitcoins.

now, I see other coins start growing a lot. My concern is about Bitcoins status as leader. I believe we can have a major crash and developers run away if Bitcoin is not the "gold standard" in crypto. First question I have: would you agree with this concern?

Second question: what needs to happen to make Bitcoin a secure #1? I dont think we even need to do payments in btc, but at least make it relevant.

Your concern is very much valid and in my opinion the only way to get a secure #1 is for a scaling solution to be accepted by the whole community like right now. Otherwise ethereum will overtake bitcoin very soon.

Ethereum has also yet to solve the scalability issue. The fees of ethereum are also hovering around 80 cent for each transaction. If the lightening network gets implemented in the coming years then there will be no stopping to bitcoin but it has yet to happen. The community needs to make up its mind for a single altcoin which can be used for day to day transactions or else we won't get any where.. Its just divide and conquer with so many altcoins out there

I would like to see an online poker tournament for bot makers.  And FYI some of them don't do it mostly to cheat or make money.  They're mostly in it for the pursuit of science.

The tournament part sounds interesting, but i don't think someone working on an AI for poker won't use it to make profits, human's don't work that way mate.. Things are about to get interesting. The rise of AI may eventually lead to the end of many online gambling games.
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Open AI Gambling Bot/Discussion on: June 12, 2017, 06:46:02 AM
AI as it exists in this day and age, works best in deterministic areas where all data affecting the outcome of an event can be quantified, measured and defined to some degree.

An AI neural net trained to be good at an atari game where all in-game variables can be measured is very different from skill at trading stocks or poker.

In a video game, all variables can be measured & quantified. Simple atari games essentially execute in a digital sandbox.

With poker and stock markets there are many factors and variables which are immeasurable & unquantifiable.

Attempting to predict poker or stock markets is partially non-deterministic similar to predicting the outcome of the superbowl or a sports event.

AI and computers can measure deterministic variables like wind speed, temperature, points scored, accuracy %.

But when people are involved and there are variables like attempting to measure the size of someone's heart, the human spirit, determination, will, the potential for people to make good or bad decisions, imagination. It can be extremely difficult for an AI to measure those things which would contribute to it lacking accuracy.

For an AI to be good at poker or stock markets would require a quantum leap in AI technology.

Look at google go ai, there are millions upon millions of moves, the portability of each move is very low and yet it has managed to beat the best of us. I don't think we need a quantum leap for just poker and stock predictions. There are bots which are already predicting the stock prices.

This is definitely advancement in technology but the issue here is that for bots to work on any site, the site must allow it and in this case when AI is winning all the time due to its immense abilities, then I see them installing anti AI systems which might make it less effective and by so  doing, users will discontinue its services. Aside that, to deploy AI at this time would be very expensive for an individual to be able to afford.

As i developer i know it will take me around a day or two to go through the documentation of it. But from what i have seen from the videos. It is already ready to use. You just need to know python and reward the AI accordingly. I think it shouldn't take more than a week to modify a bit. To train it on lets say 100k games, would take around a month or so i think, but as for websites detecting if it's a bot or a human player, that's almost impossible. There are many frameworks like selenium which make it look like its a Normal user, it will be quiet hard to keep them out, even if they implement a captcha system.. The bot can even learn how to solve a captcha in no time.

The future of gambling is interesting with all these AIs coming out. I will see what i can do for this.
1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 12, 2017, 06:12:37 AM
My bets are on Srilanka, they have yet to collapse in this tournament, on the other hand Pakistan has collapsed in their two matches. Anything above 250 from Srilanka should get them the game. But Pakistan is an unpredictable team, so anything can happen. Should be an interesting match to watch.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 11, 2017, 12:00:44 PM
And the chokers are choking again, There goes my bet down the drain, RSA will always be the chokers, They don't rise up to the occasion no matter where they are playing. Lets see if they can make a game out of it or not, Anything above 250 may give them a chance, But that's a long way from here (Currently 165/5). India now has to play really poorly to lose this one, Should be a walk in the park for India.
1355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 11, 2017, 07:39:27 AM
What a performance by bangladesh never expect that a team like bangladesh would qualify and a team like australia and new zealand would be out of the champions trophy. Congrats to england also qualifying by being top of the table and not losing a single match.
The match tomorrow would really be important for india as well as south africa as the teqm which loses is out. And i also don't like the way champions trophy fixtures have been this year coincidently 2 matches of india being on a sunday.
SA VS INDIA @INDIA odds 1.93 stake 20 mbtc return 37

I doubt india will win, Alot of RSA players have been playing the IPL So they will be familiar with India's bowling line up, I see RSA winning this match quite easily if they don't choke! As they have a habbit of doing it on main stages, But it will be an interesting match indeed, Both teams have good batting line ups, but RSA has the better Bowling line up of the two. My Bets on RSA, Should be a good match to watch.

From what I have read is if we dont change our nounce after each bet, we can lose alot more. The game becomes biased for the house. I was thinking may be the open AI could make use of it. As for poker yes. Any skill game can be mastered by open AI.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 10, 2017, 12:54:07 PM
England is back with rashid's two big blows, England has to play poorly now to lose this, This should be a simple chase but Aussies are good with the bowl so the things could get interesting, But my bets are on England. Should be a simple task if they don't take the pressure and play it as a normal game.
1358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Open AI Gambling Bot/Discussion on: June 10, 2017, 10:13:22 AM
same is the case with stock trading, The information is incomplete, But the guesses are quite right. Plus we humans tend to leave out patterns and we can't process thousands of games to find a pattern, That's where the bot is good at, Also The Open AI showed many exploits in the atari games which humans did not think of. So saying it won't work before even trying doesn't proves anything.
1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Open AI Gambling Bot/Discussion on: June 10, 2017, 09:23:37 AM
So Recently Elon Musk announced the Open AI as we know, If you don't know about "Open AI" just google it, It is basically a bot which learns from visual input and becomes a master at doing whatever it is trained on(Given enought time), It can master any Atari game and can even predict stock prices by given it the proper data, so i was wondering what if somebody trains it on Poker or Dice game? It will be the perfect player, far better than the human and could probably make websites go bankrupt, as there is no defeating to an AI. From what i am seeing the future will be AI's Playing against each other. The person who will have a better AI player will win the most bets, Let me know what do you think about it.

1360  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: How To Use Payza's New Bitcoin Services on: June 09, 2017, 08:16:30 PM
This is rather disappointing. I was a big fan of payza but 1.2 % for sending from payza to payza e-wallets is huge! Coinbase on the other hand offers free internal transactions. Are you planning to remove this in future? I moved to bitcoin from payza only because of transactions fee and you have disappointed me yet again.

The 1.2% fee is for sending Bitcoin to other Payza members, however, you can send Bitcoin from Payza to external Bitcoin Wallets for 0.001 BTC, with the miner fee taken from this amount. This is a flat fee, so when you send over .1 BTC this way, the fee is 1% or less.

That's what i said, services like coinbase and xapo allow their users to transfer freely with each other. That's why i am complaining. So if i wanted to send 0.1 btc from my payza ewallet to another payza member. I will be paying a fee for this, while i can transfer for free in coinbase to coinbase, plus they are insured. Are coins in your wallet insured?
