41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Experience for new and old gambler? on: September 20, 2023, 11:56:45 PM
Do you think it is the same experience for a gambler who has practically experienced and been involved in gambling evolution since gambling was on the street side with personal belongings or money, to spaces and buildings for gambling with money, to gambling with money online, and now to gambling with cryptocurrency online with a gambler who has experienced a few or just one of the forms of gambling?

Generally, the main purpose of why people gamble is to expect something good in return therefore, either old gambling or new gambling, the same purpose is still what they are eyeing for. If we talk about the gambling experience in terms of innovation, obviously there are lots of changes as platforms always come up with new idea to attract users and of course, the technology behind gambling is changing as it progress.

whose addiction will be harder to break?

Gambling is gambling whatever the form, type, or changes it made throughout several years from the current time. The addiction depends on how gamblers will approach gambling in general regardless if they gamble in physical casinos, online casinos, or the crypto-gambling world.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are no KYC casinos taking risks? on: September 20, 2023, 11:42:57 PM
Do you think your casino can be regulated without the AML policy? The requirements says it's all, so is it possible that those casinos doing their no KYC stuffs are not even registered?

As far as most users are concerned, they tend to choose a regulated casino in most cases. Therefore, for gambling site owners, having their site registered is a plus point to somehow attract users to take part in their platform. The AML policy is part of the regulation and we should understand that it's already a usual thing in gambling.

The KYC-related concerns are only a big deal here in crypto-gambling because, in the first place, crypto is not supposed to be like that. In online fiat gambling sites, almost the majority of gambling platforms are regulated and KYC is a must and even asked directly at the registration page.

About the last questionm if we talk about fiat online casinos, yes it's possible that if a gambling site doesn't have KYC stuffs, they are probably not registered. But if we talk about crypto-gambling, there are decentralized gambling platforms in crypto where KYC is out of context.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the drive that makes women go into gambling? on: September 20, 2023, 11:29:23 PM
I think for many women some of the few reasons they go into gambling, is that gambling provides them with the opportunity to be sociable and enjoy time with friends and also use it to escape boredom loneliness or even stress, excitement is also part of the reasons why women goes into gambling the sense of winning creates an additional anticipation of something bigger having the spotlight on you as a winner can make you feel good even for a brief moment. This has eventually turn into frequent trips or long session in gambling.

What's the deal? Is there any something special or surprising if women got involved in gambling? Regardless of the reason why they become involved in gambling, it should be the same as how males got into it, generally in most cases. Human nature after all no matter what the gender.

I agree that gambling is also considered a form of entertainment therefore everyone is always welcome.

Might just be surprising to others if they saw females doing gambling because that is something not usual to see but again, no big deal.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 17, 2023, 11:58:40 PM
But if they aren't making money with their teams, I think it's essential for them to consider a long-term solution. In my humble opinion, I believe they should revamp the rules system of the PBA, perhaps by starting to phase out farm teams. Even Helterbrand, who played for Ginebra before retirement, suggests eliminating farm teams.

The problem is, what companies are willing to put an investment in the PBA?

I agree with you that the system should be changed but SMB, as a big foundation that made PBA where it is now, might not allow their counter companies to join the league. Even if they opened up an expansion, maybe only a few companies will be allowed to join and that needs big money to enter the PBA.

Farm teams were being called farm teams because they don't have the capability to keep the considered star players on the team for long and big companies like SMC and MVP are those who are only capable of giving that player a good contract after their rookie period. These players will obviously take that big contract instead of staying at these considered farm teams.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 17, 2023, 11:47:41 PM
For now, Oguni is the one which Casimero needs to fight and win against. After that we will wait for any update for his next opponent
hopefully if ever, it isn't Inoue yet but someone who is also close to a belt challenger.

He might get there someday since Casimero is now ranked by most boxing councils.

Another win against Oguni, especially if that's an impressive one will boost again his ranking, and now close to being a title contender again.

And no need for those fans to be worried since there's no plan for Inoue to move up if he wins against Tapales, at least "for now". Adding to that, if Tapales won instead and upset The Monster, Casimero would now be close to facing Inoue much more. But that was too early to think.
46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Those who forget history will be disgraced. on: September 17, 2023, 11:37:34 PM
We have compared the current Bitcoin 1-day chart with past data(NASDAQ) and found similar patterns. You can use this as a valuable reference for investment.
https://heartbitintro.oopy.io/

Although past performance can't guarantee future results, talking about Bitcoin, it's somehow a good reference.

The decision to invest in Bitcoin should depend on how far we understand the risks. One thing is for sure, bitcoin has only one path and that's upward although the question is "when it will happen". Anyhow, just accumulate as much as we can, if possible compare to think of anything.

Regardless of the reference, if one is solid about their stand about bitcoin, they will just continue to accumulate no matter what.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free spins are also a demo in disguise? on: September 17, 2023, 11:25:13 PM
Are free slots even real? I have tried few casinos that offers free spins on registering on the platforms and I haven't seen any crazy gains with free spins before, have you? That's not why I am here though, I am just curious.

The reason why I am here is to know if free spins are like demo too, I asked this because two of my friend including myself open account of a online casino and after using all the free spins we got the same result, around $15, I am curious why, because it looks like a matched up way to keep people hoping for more.

And we know that you have to deposit for wagering because that bonus really become yours, is free spin just another demo like free bonus? That's what I want to know, what is your own experiences like with free spins.

Basically, free spins are not demo in disguise. Just be thankful though that there are sites that offer free spins being a newly registered account.

But since it's a "free reward" as a new user, don't expect anything from it although there are a few new users who managed to hit the allowed maximum withdrawal amount based on those free spins. I was able to hunt those sites offering free spins with no deposit several months ago and I was able to cash out winnings smoothly although I comply with KYC (mostly fiat online casinos).

My advice is that just enjoy it and don't put your expectations too high.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage your money on gambling sites. on: September 17, 2023, 10:57:07 PM
I'm not sure if I'm the only one experience this but anytime I have a win in betting platforms, I developed this anxiety that if u don't withdraw my money, they will later accuse of one thing or the other if u don't withdraw them and all are because of the reports of scam and reputation threads I come accross everyday on the forum, I don't want to be dragged and I don't want to drag either. I will withdraw my capital and the profit instantly and when I'm ready for the next bet, I will deposit again.

That should be good practice, withdraw the profit, and just make another round of deposits the next time. If there's no plan on playing right away after the previous session, it's risky to store coins on a third party even how reputable they are. I admit to having stored funds on a gambling site for less hassle deposit the next time I want to play again but that's because I'm a regular gambler and it's not that I'm storing decent value in the gambling site.

It's good that gamblers should enjoy their profits and cash out their winnings. Come on, enjoy it!

It's easy to just make a deposit again and play instead of storing a decent amount of coins on the gambling site.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does monitor size affect trading? on: September 17, 2023, 10:45:34 PM
Is it just for aesthetics? or does trading on a big screen have an effect on the outcome of your trade. I often see that professional traders have created a work space for themselves where they invest heavily into hardware and big monitor screens. So I wonder if trading on bigger monitor screen has a better effect on trading because I think that with the big screens a trader will be able to make better analysis. Is this my opinion correct or is there no special effect that trading on big screen has?

For hardcore traders, or should I say full-time, that might be a mandatory thing to must-have.

"They want to see everything" and they really need to have a wide scope of view, especially for day traders. With the volatile world of crypto, lots of actions can happen even for a bit of a minute. Having multiple trades currently in action, a big screen should help them monitor all of those.

Self-preference indeed. These traders are more comfortable seeing that way.

Of course, the outcome still depends on their own strategy regardless if they are using big screen or not.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's Discuss Anything About Pragmatic Play Slot Games on: September 16, 2023, 11:58:23 PM

Pragmatic Play is always not accessible in our country. It's been a long time since I wanted to experience playing some of PP's casino games without the use of VPN as I don't want to use it in the first place to erase my worries for violating a term related to that.

But just recently, or should I say, a few months ago, I was surprised that some fiat online casinos here now list Pragmatic Play as one of their game providers. I don't know the reason why they were able to get eligibility to support the PP games accessed here in the country. Unfortunately, for most crypto-casinos, PP is still not accessible here.

If anyone from PH wants to have an experience of playing PP games without the use of a VPN, I can mention what online fiat casinos I'm talking about. I just don't want to share it here since that's not a crypto-gambling site and don't want to make it look like I'm promoting those.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 16, 2023, 11:45:03 PM
I don't think it should work that way. If the organization makes it a mandatory fight for the champion, they need to recognize that Nery is banned in Japan. Therefore, they should choose a location where both fighters can compete freely. I believe there are no rules stating that the champion should dictate where the fight should take place. It's a mandatory fight, which means the fight must happen.

Well, promoters surely know what would be the best things to do on that part. These guys have been in the business for a long and they already face several problems before making it somehow "easy" for them to organize a fight even if there are flaws as long as the "price is right".

You are correct that a champion can't dictate where the fight should take place that's why specifically for all of Inoue's fights, I don't know why others hate him for not getting out of his comfort zone where in the end, it's on the promotional side why the venue is always in Japan on most of the "The Monster's" fight.

Again, if someone wants to pulverize Inoue, the venue shouldn't be a big deal. It's even more thrilling to beat Inoue in front of his countrymen.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what are the reputable casino with vault feature? on: September 16, 2023, 11:35:05 PM
Do anyone play on casino's which have vault feature (a wallet type feature where we store the crypto which we don't want to play with)
it will be easy to know asking from real users who have account on that casino. it will be difficult and very time consuming to ask about vault feature on every casino's support chat.
we cannot see the vault feature by just visiting the site, because vault feature is visible if i have account on that casino and i am logged in on it.
here are some i know bcgame, stake, bitsler, wolfbet.
please reply if you know a casino

Don't make your problem too technical and complicated.

Vault is just another good feature but the question here is, if you really don't want to play your crypto anymore, why transfer it to the vault instead to your own wallet? What if you plan on playing again on your crypto, the vault is just one step away from unlocking making your reason now inappropriate.

The main subject here is not about reputable casinos but since you mentioned your reason why you are looking for that, the best approach would be withdrawing your crypto directly to your wallet and not with the vault where it's like you are storing your coins in the third-party platform.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 5 Gambling Strategies on: September 16, 2023, 11:25:45 PM

The list will be Top 5 if it's easy to do in actual and always be followed by the majority.

The Top Gambling strategies vary per gambler. We have our own approach on how to be responsible and disciplined at all times.

I'm not really used to following someone's tips and talking about the exact percentage that only needs to be used in gambling. It's a crappy strategy because not everyone can follow it and I'm sure of that. Having a set percentage will just result in gambling more regardless if winning or losing since the temptation is always there.

Learning how to take a break is the best strategy especially when winning big.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 16, 2023, 11:11:46 PM
Same here, it's kind of late already since Casimero is still fighting to have a decent rank in this weight class and on the other hand, Naoya Inoue is already on his way unifying all the belts against Tapales. After that, we're still unsure if Inoue will still remain in this division if he already achieved his goal as the undisputed champion because there is also that other chance that Inoue will climb again.

I don't know why others are having that as a problem.

Casimero is fighting to get back in the champion list, not to chase Inoue or what. It doesn't matter anymore if Inoue will climb up to the next division if he wins against Tapales in their unification fight. Casimero just needs to follow his own timeline and win as much as possible in all of his next fights until he is in a title match regardless of who will be his opponent.

If it is destined that he will face Inoue soon, then so be it. His career is not all about facing Inoue in the first place. I know it's really exciting to watch the face-off between Inoue and Casimero but Quadro Alas can move forward even without fighting Inoue.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage your money on gambling sites. on: September 16, 2023, 11:01:15 PM
I've been following a few gambling channels on Twitter and Telegram, and whenever they share a screenshot of a bet slip or winning ticket, they occasionally also include the balance of their wallet. I've seen this happen several times, which made me wonder why they don't choose to withdraw their winnings instead of storing them in their gambling site wallet. Why do they leave that much in there, or is it simply for show off? A gambling expert should know better than to save their money on casino websites.

There are lots of reasons; maybe for content purposes, will use it the next time in their session, they just don't want to withdraw.

Actually, it's none of our business anymore if they choose to store it on the gambling site or not. As a gambler, you should have your own approach to what to do with your balance. These streamers care for their content and having their balance always show off to their viewers is a must.

I always withdraw all my winnings and only deposit the right amount i want to use to gamble whenever i want to play a game. I’d like to know everyone’s opinion on which way is better and which one do you practice in managing your funds on gambling sites.

There's no need for everyone's opinion I believe on that particular scenario.

It's your money after all therefore follow what you believe is right.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino features you like and Don't like but you don't mind on: September 16, 2023, 10:51:52 PM
But when Covid hit, you discovered online casinos. You didn't need to gamble with fiat anymore but with cryptocurrencies.

Just for clarification, when it says "online casinos" it doesn't mean that it's all about cryptocurrencies.

The rise of online fiat casinos is even more noticeable during the pandemic and as we speak, the number of fiat online gamblers is increasing more.

There's no perfect casinos but you have stuck with this one occasionally trying out new casinos as advertised on the forum or out there but you still return to your favorite casinos. What are the features in your favorite casinos that you like that makes you keep going back and what are the features that you don't like at your favorite casino but you overlook them and still play there?

No technical relations or whatever to my luck chance but I have a certain online casino where I really experience more winning chances than others. I don't know the reason behind it but I'm just going in with the flow. Same game provider, same online casino game, same strategy - these were all effective only on my preferred casinos right now. Maybe I will just stick it for long term until I noticed that losing is now dominant compare to wining.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big capital, small risk or small capital big risk - which is best approach? on: September 14, 2023, 11:56:00 PM
Different people with different approach to gambling. Some prefer committing huge capital to high probability small odds while others prefer using small capital to target big wins. There are many reasons for each of these approaches.

While those that put huge capital win more often, their losses are usually painful. On the other hand, those that commit small capital to make huge wins rare win but when they do, they win big; their losses too are less painful. There are other advantages and disadvantages for both approaches but for the sake of this discussion, let's know which approach you think is better and why?

The best approach is the one that would work for you. Do some test strategies.

Yes, find "what's the best approach based on your own approach". I might have a good result following my own approach but it doesn't mean it will work for everyone. Every gambler has different strategies for managing their own bankroll. Regardless if they used a small capital or high capital, it all depends on their own move on that specific gambling session.

I already have lots of experience starting with a high capital and small capital. Obviously, it's either winning or losing at the end.

Regardless of what I choose, the key factor is the decision while playing the game, specifically when to cashout, when to get out, when to take a break, etc.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Features on any Banking or Financial apps should be Removed on: September 14, 2023, 11:43:14 PM
I also keep wondering if the bank also charges the users some commission for using them for placing bets because if they do, why wouldn't users use the platform directly instead of using it through the banking app to avoid paying extra money? They would use it if they weren't charged anything extra, for sure.

Standard banks I believe are not those who are in the subject here.

E-mobile payment services are now acting as a bank and that's where the most feature like betting is present in most cases.

Regardless, if the betting feature is really present in the online application of a "standard bank", it's like a form of partnership as part of promoting the said bank to be used as a payment method and definitely, there should be no extra charge here as why the hell they will do that. Since digital banks and e-mobile payment services are rising, especially here in our country, one way to attract more users at them is to reach those users at the most crowded industry and that is online gambling.
59  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Basketball]Gilas Pilipinas Asian Games 2023 Update on: September 14, 2023, 11:26:22 PM

Lakas nga sana ng big man lineup natin if di nagretire sa Gilas si Christian Standhardinger dahil sa mga injuries. Ganda sana ng Gin Kings combination ng Brownlee-Aguilar-Standhardinger tapos may JuneMar Fajardo pa. Daming potential big man pa gaya ni Michael Phillips, Justin Baltazar at Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser.

Justin Brownlee is listed as Small Forward. Mas ok at gamay niya ito kesa maglaro sya ng 4 or 5 like sa Ginebra.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low cap altcoins best for rising price? on: September 14, 2023, 11:01:23 PM
Are you collecting low cap altcoins for the bull market? It sounds like you think low cap altcoins can easily make 100x profits. I don't think so and even if the supply of a good quality project is high then you will get good profit there. Many new investors tend to follow supply more. You should know that there are many low cap altcoins that can't even sail the market in bull seas.

Regardless of whether a coin is a low cap or high cap, the key point of choosing what coins to invest depends generally on coin characteristics and overall market performance in a different market trend. Remember that "hype" is always associated when we talk about "x100 profits" and "bull run" therefore, expect that even a non-potential coin can have a good volume with just hype alone as a reason.

Moving forward, an enhanced and improved DYOR should always be the priority.

We will really end up testing the waters with different coins as no one can predict accurately what coin will surprise the market in the future.
