Manchester City have been losing the Community Shield title to their opponents for two seasons. It is up to being completely ready for the new season too of course. But I don't think this time will be the same with those seasons. The opponent Arsenal are a tough team on paper maybe. But we are talking about Manchester City.
As long as the players are ready Manchester City should be able to win this game by a dominant performance. But I don't expect a big goal gap as it is the beginning of the season already. My score prediction is 2-1. Winning this title would be the strongest way to start this season.

After David Raya and David de Gea, Bono is also a candidate to be Bayern Munich's new goalkeeper according to rumours. But among all of these goalkeepers I would still favour de Gea to be the one to sign for them. I just can't see the other candidates at his level now. I know Bono impressed people in the last World Cup together with Livakovic.
But I don't think this is still good to be better than de Gea. I know de Gea's performance was better than now in the past but he is still a solid goalkeeper. I can't even remember the number of times he saved Manchester United by great saves in the recent times.

PSG are about to create a new trio in the attacking line with Dembele and Goncalo Ramos additions. These are the first steps of a big change at this team after Messi's departure. There is more to come after Mbappe leaves next summer most probably. Even when they had Messi, Mbappe and Neymar at the same time it didn't work out well for the Champions League.
Therefore I think change is good in this kind of situations. Who knows maybe the new version of this team in Luis Enrique's lead can do much better things. The team are getting younger with these transfers in the recent times too. I'm curious about their Champions League performance this season.

Luis Díaz is a good substitute for Nunez if he is fit he had been in a terrific form when he newly signed for Liverpool until he got injured, however now that he is back on his feet Klopp has the option of selecting any three forward among Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Luiz Diaz, Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez thus there are options for the team in their forward line.
Luis Diaz can't be a good replacement in my opinion. He has played in only a few games as a centre-forward in his career and couldn't contribute in any way. He must be like the last resort. There isn't even any need for these things. They can easily find a replacement for Firmino actually. It doesn't have to be a big signing. Nunez would be the main centre-forward of the team and it would be comforting to have a decent backup striker as well. There are so many strikers on the market who can fit this description easily so I hope Liverpool handle this situation well too. |

I don't even know where Osimhen to Milan rumours came from. Because this is just nonsense to me now. Why would he leave a team which is in better condition? Let's say he wanted to join a much bigger team than I would understand. But Milan aren't a team that have had that kind of status in the recent times.
I would expect Osimhen to sign for only top European teams in other top leagues. I don't expect less than that to happen. Otherwise he would just continue his career at Napoli. They have already been reported to be working on a contract extension.

Dembele signing hasn't still been completed by PSG but it is close to be finalized. As far as I know they have still managed to agree for his release clause worth 50 million euros. Barcelona are waiting on this transfer to be completed officially as soon as possible. Because they have other plans after that. Xavi was still feeling disappointed with the decision being made by dembele but the main problem is now if dembele has been choosing to leave from the club to join in the PSG. Barcelona can do nothing as dembele has asked permission to the club directly to let him leave to the PSG. Dembele's transfer was still in the process but it will be completed very soon. You shall not feel worry about that. Dembele's transfer will be completed as soon as possible. Barcelona gonna announce vitor roque as a replacement for dembele. The problem if vitor may not able to adapt to the club easily. Bayern Munich can do well without Mane as well just as they were before him. Mane couldn't even find exactly the chances he would like so far and he did the right thing by leaving. He shouldn't have left Liverpool in the first place as he was doing pretty well there. He just wanted a new adventure which didn't have a good result for him.
After adding Kane to the squad Bayern Munich will be even much more productive to score. I'm saying that considering Kane won't have big issues with adaptation. He has played at Tottenham for years maybe but he is a top level striker. He should be able to maintain his solid performance for bigger teams.

Andre and Lavia are the current candidates for defensive midfield position at Liverpool. Actually Liverpool have made multiple offers for Lavia already as far as I know. But there is no agreement yet. Liverpool are looking for only young players for this position as it seems. I hope the new player to fill Fabinho's place can play at least as good as him.
Interestingly there is still nobody on their radar when it comes to a striker. They have Nunez but there is nobody else in the subs to replace him strongly. Klopp tried Gakpo sometimes but it wouldn't be a good idea. After Firmino's departure they had better fill his place too.

They are targeting to bring Cancelo to the team by using that money. It would be a really good transfer of course but won't they bring another good winger? I don't know if Xavi is planning to move on with the wingers he has currently.

Arsenal made a big progress in the previous season. Despite being a team full of young players they competed really hard for the Premier League title. Arteta has his system working really well now. He will need to transfer the same thing to the Champions League as well. I know this is a different environment so they will need to play extra careful.
Experience is playing a really big role in the Champions League. But this is still not an obstacle for them to reach a better stage by getting past the groups. It is all up to keeping their concentration level high. They have really talented players who can be a big help for having a successful run.

After signing Hojlund I'm curious about this transfer will be beneficial for the Red Devils for real. Rashford won't need to play as a centre-forward anymore as long as Hojlund adapts and plays decently. He couldn't perform impressively for Atalanta which makes me question his first season here. But it is still hard to predict what he can do in the Premier League.
If he has a good chemistry with the team and start scoring more comfortably it will be really lovely to watch him. I would be curious about especially Hojlund vs Haaland when they play against Manchester City. Haaland is in a way better condition now of course but it would be nice to see Hojlund bringing the competition to him.

A swap deal between Chelsea and Juventus is probable now. As far as I have heard Juventus want 40 million euros cash plus Lukaku to send Vlahovic to them. I think this is a quite reasonable deal for Chelsea. There is no meaning in keeping Lukaku for Chelsea in the first place. Vlahovic would be a way better choice at the moment. Chelsea doesn't agree with such offer. Chelsea already lowered its offer for juventus. The club may agree to get vlahovic once juventus will agree with 35m + lukaku as its offer. It's a non sense deal to give a lot of money for juventus. Chelsea has been also adding lukaku in the in the its offer. Juventus shall lowered its offer for chelsea if the club is willing to sell vlahovic but the fact that if vlahovic didn't wanna leave from juventus. This deal may be cancelled by chelsea. Lukaku has played for Chelsea many times and we have never seen him showing an impressive performance consistently. There is no reason to give him another chance. Vlahovic is a young and really skilled scorer. I think he would fit Pochettino's system better than Allegri's.
Juventus and chelsea are so desperate to sell their useless strikers. Vlahovic already made personal agreement with PSG but juventus wants him to be exchanged for lukaku from chelsea + additional funds. I think that vlahovic can reject it and the transfer will not happen. Chelsea are really caring about paying 5 more million pounds for Vlahovic now? Anyway it is still a deal that Juventus could agree upon. Vlahovic is normally not a useless striker but he is just not the man for Allegri's system. He can't play as comfortable as he was before. Maybe signing for Chelsea can help him start playing like himself. Juventus are keen on having Lukaku after seeing Vlahovic's performance last season. Chelsea shouldn't give up on this deal as it would be a reasonable deal for them. It is obvious they can't do anything with Lukaku. Bringing Vlahovic is a chance to keep their attacking line more productive. |

Dembele is going to fill Messi's void at PSG as it seems. This transfer is happening all of a sudden really. I didn't even know whether there was a release clause of Dembele worth 50 million euros until last Monday until PSG made an offer for him. I don't see any update so I hope PSG managed to benefit from that.
Dembele has a really great skillset. If he doesn't have problem any adaptation problem here which I don't expect at all he should be making a significant level of contribution. Mbappe is also likely to stay this season. But I don't know about Neymar's future. If he stays I won't be surprised in case he gets a lasting injury again.

this is the more reason why many coaches like being tactical in featuring most of their key players in pre-season matches, to avoid situations like this from occurring, he's a young and talented rising star with good skills and good attacking abilities though his presence wouldn't really be felt because they have other quality and well experienced players that could feature in that position until he recovers from his injuries, but the Realmadrid coach would need such a player like him to feature in other competitions, though 2months might seems like a long time and he'll be so sad to be missing out on the early stages of the tournament where he'll be looking to impress so as to contend for a spot in the starting 11, but I believe the medical team would work very hard to try and help him recover ever faster than expected, he's a young lad with good talent and his presence could create an impact with the team, Ancelotti would be so sad at this current incident having one of the rising star in his team suffer from a long injury before the season stars and would be looking forwards to having him back to the training ground again
dont worry about this as Arda Guler has yet to be confirmed as a starter at Real Madrid so he will have time to really recover and make himself a starter in the months after the summer season starts. many are sad about this news, especially Madrid fans because they also believe that if Arda Guler is a player who has very good talent, he only needs a little experience from coaches and other senior player, Im sure he will be a young player with new talents. well, we can only hope that all of this will be fine and 2 months is not a little time but let Arda Guler really recover without relapse on the field when competing. I also believe that Ancelotti has other strategies to keep doing well this summer and also in the UCL. Why would Arda Guler be a member of the starting lineup right away? I don't think he will be there right after he recovers. He will need to earn his place in the starting lineup because he has really skilled teammates in the positions he can play. Ancelotti is thinking of him for the right wing now. But players like Rodrygo and Valverde is also used in the same position. Arda's injury is really unfortunate now. If he was able to start with pre-season games then he would have had more time before the season starts officially to prove his quality to his manager. |

The Bundesliga was competitive in the previous season because of Bayern Munich. Because there was a significant decrease in their performance level. They lost so many points and nearly lost the title but Dortmund literally helped them win it. At least we watched an exciting run and the final week was really delightful to follow.
But I'm pretty confident we won't see this level of competition very often in the future. Bayern Munich are likely to regain their dominance in the league. They have changed their manager and more importantly they are about to finish the most needed signing. Harry Kane should be joining soon.

Would David Raya choose Arsenal while Bayern Munich are also interested? I don't think so. Because Raya is going to be the main goalkeeper for Bayern Munich if he goes there. But at Arsenal I don't think so while there is Ramsdale. Maybe Bayern Munich have Neuer as well but he isn't expected to be available for a longer time. Sommer is about to leave as well.
I don't think Arsenal need a goalkeeper signing now either. Because there are 2 goalkeepers in the substitutes too. If they sign Raya they will need to give him a good level of playing time to prevent a possible problem in the team.

It would be better for Atletico Madrid to start off with a clean slate after this season. I mean it depends on how they will perform in this season of course. But considering the last two seasons I won't keep my expectation level much high for them. They are just struggling to be consistent from the beginning of a season in the La Liga.
I agree with their look in the Champions League as well. They can't even get past the group stage which isn't nice to see for a powerful team like them. It is like a last chance for Simeone and he had better use it efficiently. But if he doesn't the board shouldn't have second thoughts about parting ways with him.

Lens got what they wanted from the previous season and now they are even in the Champions League. I don't expect them to do amazing things there of course. But even joining the group stage and being a part of it help them make a lot of extra money. You know a great deal of money is given to the teams in this stage just for joining it.
It is hard to believe in them to be this consistent in the Ligue 1 two seasons in a row for now. Because they are losing their players who played a big role in this success one by one lately.

Chelsea and Liverpool's not being a part of the Champions League is really like an additional obstacle ahead for them when it comes to making huge signings. About Mbappe I think his first choice would be to sign for Real Madrid. He is even okay with staying for one last season with PSG now and then leave.
Chelsea and Liverpool can make their offers for Mbappe all they want but Mbappe wouldn't directly accept them without hearing from Real Madrid. Even if Real Madrid don't intervene now I feel like Mbappe will choose to stay at PSG for this season instead.
