Nope. They knowingly lied and are therefore liable for their actions.  We as consumers are responsible to make sure these thieving bastards are never allowed to do any business again, let alone keep our money without any repercussions.
This. Thanks for saying it with such good words.
HF is just doing their calculations, and we have to do ours.

I need to re-read the ToS but thought we all agreed to an arbitration clause?!?
Looks like so and it is probably a good thing.
1382  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: A call to the Custom Hardware community: Please let the world know about HashFas on: December 31, 2013, 05:55:58 PM
I personally don't really care about the status of my order anymore, i only care about my lawyer and my arbitration. I haven't received my tracking yet, there is a tiny chance that they will ship it before midnight and yet the delivered (!= exwork) terminology won't fit it.

If from a lawyer and there rest of my inbox i can take a break trying to help someone out of a problem he will have, i will have done something good in my day.

gmaxwell, unfortunately i don't have the time for this right now.
1383  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: December 31, 2013, 12:27:19 PM
you dont really have a good track record on making bets...
Wanna bet? :-) (that CT isn't going to be nearly 1/10 as bad as HF [if you don't consider what will happen with my litigation with HF])
1384  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: December 31, 2013, 10:21:02 AM
Everyone that thinks to have problems with CT can switch to my HF orders at incredible discounts.

CT is probably one of the best bets out there.

As many of you might be aware of, HashFast has learned all the lessons from BFL and is in the process of accomplishing an even worse scam. However, it looks like that they where overconfident about overpromising. They think that they will come out of this just fine. Legally, i mean.

For several reasons, this will not be the case.

However, while their customers are proceeding legally against them, they are (and will) try to put off some other fire sales in the very next few days. People who will buy from them will be the least legally protected, due to their ever changing ToS.

I'm asking you for some cheap action to prevent this. You can start by upvoting this Reddit post:
http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1u2a3m/running_timeline_of_hashfasts_actions_lies_and/

You could create a new one with better content, if you wish.
If you have contacts with relevant journalist, i kindly ask you to let them know about this story. Many on this forum are able to help on pointing out details for some good article.

Doing this if you are a batch 1 customer will be an equivalent of biting the hand that feeds you, but it's only the right thing to do.
1386  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 31, 2013, 09:38:33 AM
This delay will not affect the starting point from which benefits are calculated.
It's months that i try to point out this terminology. It only talks about benefits, that are anyway capped at 4xBJ. The only thing they should talk about is the delivery timeframe, and we all just know that it will be sometime after February.
1387  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 31, 2013, 07:11:41 AM
They know we're pissed off, why we're pissed off.
It's funny that you use this term because john used it the first time we meet back in september. I guess that if i was pissed off then i'm to a whole new level now.

And how the hell can that Reddit posts be downvoted? Stupid reddit downvoters.
1388  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 31, 2013, 12:14:43 AM
Is 230GH really worth 4300$?
Doesn't matter, HF won't ship anytime soon anyway.

Don't know. Min-blown accomplished.

Systems are online again. Thanks, calculator.
1389  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast customer e-mail leak on: December 31, 2013, 12:06:28 AM
I think that they already did they calculations and double checked them. They are fine with all of the money they will get out of us (not so much in my case).
1390  Bitcoin / Hardware / HashFast comparisons with BFL and CoinTerra on: December 31, 2013, 12:04:57 AM
You forgot the most funny part of that email.

1391  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast customer e-mail leak on: December 30, 2013, 11:18:15 PM
I don't know what these fools at Hashfast deserve, but I hope they get it at any rate.
You are starting from the possibly wrong supposition that this wasn't the plot all along.
1392  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 30, 2013, 10:40:34 PM
@itod, just a little correction, that's their sales guy that i should have registered when we meet in person (and again, there where 2 people listening to us, it should be possible to find them). It's not their CEO. Their CEO is hiding behind all of it's thing while probably one of the ones with the biggest benefits from the scam he is running.

Like Yufi vs Nzhang-whatever
1393  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 30, 2013, 08:11:00 PM
That's the only difficult choice we are faced with. Either lose 85% with USD refunds, 60-70% if we accept the miners, and a 10-20% if we win the arbitration/litigation.
1394  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 30, 2013, 07:58:35 PM
I'm surprised because i was thinking that they would have used fedex next flight to ship to as many customers as possible today. Maybe that's still the case and we just don't know yet.

If not, my legitimate conclusion is that they don't have a working product yet.
1395  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 30, 2013, 09:42:16 AM
This is mine. It's probably useless, but yet, here it is.

1396  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 30, 2013, 09:24:27 AM
I would like to know if anyone has a snapshot of the ToS around the end of August (like 28 of August). I'm not talking about the ToS they emailed us.

Thanks.
1397  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 30, 2013, 09:14:22 AM
The only reason why you should not attempt a class action is if you think the ToS to be there to protect you and you want to enforce what they wrote on it. Points such as full refunds of the payment and payments that are specified to be made in BTC.
1398  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 30, 2013, 08:32:14 AM
Cedivad, what does your lawyer think of that?
If we do a group action against HF we give up to any of the "protections" of the MPP. Not that i care anymore, i'm almost sure that i will refuse the shipment and sue the hell out of them. It's the only rationale solution. I will ask and report back anyway. Thanks for asking.
1399  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 30, 2013, 01:50:23 AM
I wanted to thank you but i didn't wanted to post there, thanks for the impressive work.
1400  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 30, 2013, 01:38:14 AM
I am finished...
Giving up is what they want. It's since October that i'm stressed for this, and they are doing whatever possible to kill us psychologically because they can't stand in court.

Don't give up.
