1261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Effortlessly promoting Bitcoin, raising the curiosity of none bitcoin ethusiast on: January 06, 2024, 09:59:30 AM
First off, your survey – eye-opening! Like discovering barely half your buddies know what a latte is. Crazy, right? How then can we get everyone to use Bitcoin? To make it as normal as our morning coffee.

Social media is like a voice for us online. So, lets take it to a personal level. Tell tales like "My First Bitcoin Purchase" or "How Bitcoin Made Me Rich". It is not about using academic terms; it is about getting to know each other as people. And guess what? People love stories. They stay with you like that song you cant stop thinking about.

Now we'll talk about Bitcoin swag. Yes, cups and shirts. They make people want to talk. "Hey, whats that cool logo?" your friend might ask. You've got them hooked. And teaching those who are interested? Keep it simple and easy to understand. Wherever you live, Bitcoin is a lifestyle, not simply a currency.
1262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The is always on gambling, never the individual. on: January 05, 2024, 05:18:43 PM
I can't stop thinking about people who blame gambling even though gambling is a game that is meant to have fun, and only people who abuse it can't accept gambling and hate it. Someone abuses gambling because they are too careless in gambling, they don't think about the risk of losing, so they gamble without full control, causing an addiction that destroys their own life, and maybe this is why society views gambling badly, but because they see people who are irresponsible, careless and not discipline in gambling so that it influences people's minds to view gambling negatively.

I'm a gambler but when I lose money every time I gamble I don't hate gambling or get emotional with losing and I also don't think I've given up and don't do it again no I don't think like that, but because I realize that gambling is a game, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, so I can accept when I lose and don't blame or hate gambling because that's what gambling is.
This is a normal thing that some gamblers do when they lose at gambling. They will easily blame gambling for making them lose a lot of money without wanting to introspect the mistakes they have made. However, if they want to introspect themselves, the mistake is theirs, and they must realize it and try not to make the same mistake. They are too eager to win from gambling, so they don't pay attention to what they need to do to avoid losing. They really can't be responsible for their gambling activities, so they experience more losses than other people and don't want to realize it. And if they still make the same mistake another day, they will blame it on gambling again, as usual.

Those of us who gamble should be able to realize that we have to accept defeat sincerely and don't need to blame anyone, including gambling. We are responsible for ourselves, so we must realize that we have gambled excessively, and there must be corrections for our mistakes. By realizing these mistakes and being willing to learn from them, we can become wiser in using gambling.
Blaming the toaster for burned toast is easy but ineffective. I understand the rush. Gambling is like hot cuisine. A little adds flavor, but too much causes discomfort.

Like driving, you cant control traffic but can control your actions. Gambling requires knowing when to stop. Those losses? Feedback, not bad luck. "Hey, maybe rethink your strategy, or maybe its time for a break." Instead of blaming the game, reflection is needed.

I say gamble with your head, not over it. Set limitations, follow them, and remember its fun, not a full-time work. When it stops being fun, step back. It takes smarts, not luck. And learning from mistakes? Thats life advancement.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the tension make you take risk that are sometimes worth it? on: January 05, 2024, 04:56:21 PM
Its a bit strange but I appreciate your statement because even though there are so many gamblers who do this because they are pressured by something they have to force themselves to gamble but remember that anyone here  not advised to gamble under pressure or just gamble under duress.
It's best not to ever try it because I once tried it when I first got to know gambling, trying to gamble under pressure and pushing myself too hard at the wrong time to gamble, therefore the end result was that I lost more money than I imagined, that's why don't being too reckless when gambling, such as playing in entertainment venues, enjoying the game, never force yourself, let alone be pressured by conditions that make it impossible to gamble.

Avoid all risks by playing gambling that is too stressful so that you can really focus on gambling without being under pressure which makes everything fall apart, make sure you feel good when gambling and the most important thing is to always be conscious when gambling because most gamblers don't feel self-aware. that they gambled and lost a lot of money in that gambling.
as I said, it is not recommended and avoided for anyone if you feel stressed and we must remember that gambling must be done comfortably so that we can feel the pleasure we want, whereas in fact gambling was built to provide a place for customers to look for pleasure and it seems like there is no point if gamble under any pressure because all you have to feel is pleasure but it turns into regret after forcing yourself to gamble under that pressure.

whatever you have done, I appreciate you because it was very valuable experience so that you dont do it again and my advice is that if you feel your mind is uncomfortable, avoid gambling and go looking for entertainment with your friends or look for other entertainment places that dont have risk of losing money is too great.

I'm saying this honestly, I've also experienced the same thing as you, but I did this repeatedly when I was still bad gambler, forcing myself to bet even though I was doubtful and forcing myself when my mind was disturbed, in the end I couldn't stop chasing losses because the pressure makes my mind emotional and difficult to control.
however, from this experience I became better currently I have bad experience but in the future it will be a very valuable experience and indeed gambling must be done in healthy state of mind without any distractions and without any pressure.
once again I will just say that anyone should always avoid gambling if they feel uncomfortable when gambling.
Thanks for being honest and sharing your story. Its a reflection of my gambling journey. Gambling should be fun, not stressful. When it becomes a burden, walk back.

Gambling affects our mental health, so we must acknowledge it. Not only the money, but how we feel when playing. A disturbed mentality may make even the most harmless gamble unpleasant, as I've discovered the hard way. Better to stop and wait than drive in a storm.

Your suggestion to seek alternate entertainment changes everything. With so many risk-free methods to enjoy fun, why limit ourselves to gambling? I look for activities that make me happy without remorse. Having a good balance is key, whether its a night out with friends or a new pastime.
1264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: January 05, 2024, 04:33:34 PM
Talking about safety, I think it's the same. They have their own cheats or loopholes in each game. but comparing the two, I believe more in offline gambling. Just like card gambling, it is immediately distributed in front of us, even if they have cheating, we who are experienced will definitely know it. If there is fraud online, it is very difficult for us to claim the fraud, especially since their data is hidden. but I don't have a problem with online or offline gambling. For me, gambling means that I have invested the money from the start, regardless of winning or losing.

Yes, we think that's the Same thing too , of Course things vary According to the Tastes of the Person as such, because if it's a person who really likes being in a casino and seeing the Atmosphere and Everything there , then it's Something What is paid to her, if she is a Worker who likes to socialize, well, also, when it comes to making a Large Withdrawal of money , I don't know , but I think that it is just Dangerous , because if they give her the Cash , there can be many Factors through which since the person is in some kind of danger, I would like to find a way that is money or not give it to me in cash, but I don't know what other ways could happen, it would be Exceptional if they could Implement that they could Deposit it in usdt , bitcoin , or in any Medium of These , but if you have to repeat the gnacias the danger will lie in going out and leaving everything there and taking it with us because that represents a way of being in danger, because they may be Watching you from the canyon and be warning other People to rob you or something like that, that's the danger I see.

In an online casino things can be Different with Different ways of seeing it because you can have the money in one Place and be able to access it from a wallet or the person can make the return to an Exchange , wallet or wherever seems best to the Person , with respect to a possible hack, but maybe it is Possible , but we as users that we have and we Must have Security we must Adopt all the caps of the same, as the factor of 2fa that is for me even though many say that they do not like it In fact , it is necessary here in the forum to already implement it , because things with this tend to be Good , so in this order of days, we must make our security high at all times, and not Allow things to go wrong. of control with this, of course now things with the KYC and all this Complicates it , but even so I consider both Options to be Equally Safe.

For offline ffans, nothing surpasses the real thing. The clinking chips and shuffled cards provide a sensory experience. For some, internet casinos' ease and anonymity are irresistible. You can play in pajamas without anybody noticing.

You made a good argument about withdrawals. Large amounts of cash can act as a "rob me" sign. Non-ideal, right? The move to digital currency could transform everything. Imagine hitting a button and your crypto wallet holds your winnings. The exit is safe, efficient, and free of dodgy individuals.

Online gambling safety is paramount. I support strong security measures like 2FA. Like a digital fortress for your money. KYC may be annoying, but its necessary for secure gambling. Whether online or offline, responsible and secure gambling is essential.
1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: January 05, 2024, 04:05:58 PM
Some are like that on having some concern but there are ones who do really love on giving out some complaints basing up on what you do, this is why you should really be careful
on the decisions that you are making but in general sense on which its never been that good on playing whether gambling or those typical mobile games while at work. You arent going to office
or field just for you to play and you arent getting paid just for you to have that kind of enjoyment. Just like the rest been saying that its never been that worth on making yourself
or putting  your work at at risks because once those complaints been raised then youre fucked up. You would really be starting to have regrets on the time that you would
be losing your job. LOL!
Yes, we have to focus on priority work without interfering with gambling activities, even if he only gambles during breaks, you can't hide gambling forever and your boss will find out from indications of your behavior or work history that are not optimal, so calm down and think about it before you regret it losing your job and losing your main income.

I only give advice not to gamble when you are working, but you are free to gamble when you are relaxing without being tied to any work, you must put everything in its proper place and never neglect the priority of your work. Based on statistics, the unemployment rate is very high, but you are still lucky to have a job as your main income, so don't ever waste your work just because of the influence of gambling while you are working.
I completely agree with your thinking on job and gambling! I believe in a balanced life, which includes understanding when to gamble and when not to. Did you realize that separating work and play improves mental health? So true! Like a well-organized toolbox, compartmentalization delights your brain. Break gambling? Why not treat yourself with gambling after work? You're safeguarding your career and enjoying your free time.

Supporting healthy gambling requires moderation. Stick to your gambling budget and boundaries. Enjoy your favorite dessert without overindulging. Remember to maintain gambling in its due place—a enjoyable, infrequent hobby that doesn't interfere with your priorities.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Focus on how much you may lose and not only the potential win. on: January 05, 2024, 03:43:48 PM
`

For these reasons that we, as good players and above all, possess intelligence, are that so that something like this does not happen to us, we must always have the money we are willing to lose before playing, money that is not affected by the fact that if we do, We waste everything, because we are not left without money, no, the money we have there is willing to lose and it will not do anything if it goes, now, if the money willing to lose is lost, what we must assume and that that has already happened and that at least we played and had fun, and that on another occasion or in another game session we will be able to make bets without taking into account the previous experience, only what we could have extracted as a learning in the game, and Possibly realizing that it was what we did wrong so as not to do it again and thus our game increases in level, that is the secret, but the most important thing of all is that if we manage to have that touch of luck that we all look for in a casino What you should do is not stop and withdraw.

I know that sometimes there is a little voice in our brain that nods says, even it leaves us without profits, it makes us waste too much and we lose everything, so for me the premise is, first of all, to have the money we have to lose, and if It is a loss not to put in or deposit more, not even because we feel the luckiest in the world, that is a rule that should not be broken, and then if we have a good profit, what we should do is take that profit and withdraw, it is preferable to do so like this and spend that money, enjoy that money, feel that money, let it be seen that our decision was the right one, that we cannot experience another experience, but as I said before, until there is another game session, if not, we will be able to do it alone In those very basic rules, I believe that no one would lose more than they should allow themselves to lose, but the key is to have discipline, if there is no discipline, our own rules will hardly be followed.

I agree - betting only what we can afford is best. Its like getting the most exotic meal at a posh restaurant for the experience, not the food. Isnt that voice in our heads telling us to keep going despite losses like that friend who always offers one more Netflix episode? Though sincere, they'll regret it in the morning! Setting limits before the game's excitement affects my judgment is the greatest approach to stop that voice.

When luck appears, its like a siren's call to keep going. However, I get crafty here. I treat my winnings like a work surprise. Would you immediately invest your bonus in your company? Probably not! Probably pamper yourself, preserve it, or use it wisely. The same rule applies
1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 05, 2024, 03:22:41 PM
Gamblers only require the ability to trust their own predictions instead of an expert's idea. Predicting correctly, doesn't need any expert to do it, it's mainly a thing of luck, not being an expertise. Because it'll be hard to know what happens next in a game. Whether the player is certain about the past and what happened in the previous games, and is well versed in analysis, the gambler still need to hope on luck, as sports knows no master in prediction. A gambler who is concerned about having fun through gambling don't need such people to help him gamble. Most often it causes some trouble in the process and the gambler who relied on an expert would blame the person for his loss. To avoid such things, everyone need to take custody of his action in gambling. If he chooses to follow an expert then it should be seen as his own decision, hence he is not supposed to complain to anybody.

Gamblers who use expert predictions or signals provided for their bets are more likely to be gamblers who use gambling as a place to make money. not for entertainment that they can enjoy.
With predictions given and gamblers following them, gamblers will focus on betting and chasing wins. and if the prediction is wrong, might the gambler blame the person who gave the prediction? they are betting with their own money, and it is only right that they enjoy the game they have paid for with their betting money. Ambition to win will only lead to greater disappointment.
It is not necessary that gamblers gamble for the fun, and as a matter of fact, most gamblers gamble for the money, but what I do not like is for them to be desperate about the money which is where the addiction and irresponsible gambling comes from. Also, I expect the person who relies on another person for a signal to know the risk involved and agree to it as well. This goes for gambling as too, if you know you do not have the nerves for external signals, then you should learn how to forecast yourself, or else, do not gamble at all. Gambling is such that is so risky, it is a game of luck, so I do not expect anyone to even believe that there is one expert out there who can guarantee your 100% winning. This is a good reason for them to keep it cool if they lose through external sources.
Gamble for money isnt awful, right? Desperation, as you said, is the villain. Too much hot sauce on your taco is awful, but a little is fun. Reckless gambling and addiction are spicy sauce. Moderation and boundaries are crucial.

What about depending on signals from outside sources? That old "follow the expert" technique. They could have a concept, but your taste senses may disagree! Gamblers should realize the risks of taking advice. Money, bet, and responsibility are yours.

Final rule: gambling is luck! Expecting a gambling victory guarantee is unreal. Smart gamblers accept losses with grace. Remember to relax, wager wisely, and have fun!
1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: January 05, 2024, 02:58:10 PM

So the best is to play the games with an amount you can afford to lose and still be comfortable with walking away with any attempt to recover and if you going to gamble again,  it should be because you want to have more fun and not to recover from previous loses.
It's true what you say, it's better for us to gamble with as little money as we can afford if we lose then we won't regret it because basically in gambling we have to be willing to lose that money if we lose when gambling. That way we won't be chasing losses too much or recovering them will be very difficult. We must be fully aware that the risks in gambling are very high and we must be ready to accept that winning or losing is the result.

It is true that winnig or losing are the only two possible outcome of every game we play, but one thing we must try to accept is the fact that gambling is a risky game, which before one will want to begin,he must have had a mindset that anything can happen,it's either he loses or he wins, when he loses, accepting it as part of what happens to gamblers is what should be done, rather than taking it to heart, which will affect your state of health.
Talking about quiting,it is something very hard to do,we all know the moment you are addicted to gambling, you will find it very difficult to put an end to it.It is something ones you've started, there is no going back to it.
Gambling is like eating spicy food even though it can make you sick, since it might be good! Gamble, pun intended. But you're right - mindset matters. Entering a casino or betting site requires the mental preamble, "I might win, I might lose, and thats okay." Like going to the movies, you hope its good but sometimes its not.

The health situation is different. When gambling becomes a heartache rather than a race, stop. I say, "If its messing with your head, it's time to put it to bed." Mental wellness requires frequent care like a garden. Quitting is hard but achievable. Like breaking up with someone you know is bad for you, it hurts but is best.

Promoting healthy gambling is crucial. Like drinking wine, moderation is key. I usually advise time and money restrictions. If you're struggling, dont be ashamed to ask for help. Like asking for directions, it doesnt indicate you're lost, merely that you need help getting back on course. This is a game, not life or death.
1269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 05, 2024, 02:17:32 PM
Roberto Firmino is said to have an intention to leave Al-Ahli these days. Fulham are rumoured to be interested in him as well. Other than them I have heard of some Turkish teams having an interest in signing him too. I think his first choice would be to return to the English Premier League. Because he can make more money there than he can in Turkey and he is already very familiar with the league.  Smiley

I thought he shouldn't have left Liverpool in the first place but of course he must be earning much more money there. But I mean he was doing quite okay at Liverpool and performing even better than Nunez.
I think Roberto Firmino's situation is complicated. He's clearly not at his best at Al-Ahli, which may fuel suspicions that he wants to leave. Fulham is a good option for him to return to the EPL. An experienced, league-savvy striker would be acquired. Plus, his Liverpool days make me nostalgic. Liverpool strategically wanted to add younger players like Nunez to their attacking line, not his choice. Quite sad, actually. Firmino was crucial to Liverpool, and he may have had more to contribute.

I think the change is more about finding the proper match than money. Though the EPL is more lucrative than Turkey, Firmino may be seeking a team where he can make an impact at this juncture of his career. Fulham may provide him that platform. He may be a large fish in a small pond on this team, not simply another star. Whatever he decides, I hope he finds a club that uses his talents well.
1270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 05, 2024, 01:49:10 PM
Chelsea was still remaining the one that performed so poorly till the end of season unlike liverpool and man utd that could qualify for europa league and UCL. This time is kinda different since manchester united backs again to the poor performance while chelsea is still running in the same place without any improvements. I must remove liverpool from the list coz it's one of the strongest candidate to win EPL this season.
Liverpool potentially to win some trophies too. This is good news for all of liverpudlians coz their favorite clubs are going back to the right way after they have very poor performances in the previous seasons.
Chelsea has not yet found its way to perform better but im still expecting it to go up as long as it will build a better squad.
The performance of Chelsea this past and present season is already giving me a lot of doubt if the fault is from the players or the coach, which is to be blamed or do we say the performance of every other clubs has improved significantly where as Chelsea is doing nothing to improve. Chelsea spending a lot of money on buying players we expect something better than this. Honestly from Pochettino stats i think he is not capable of handling the team into toping the table. So maybe looking into their coach would be a better option to help the team i feel they have enough squad to make things happen excluding Jackson.

My thoughts on Chelsea's predicament are as follows. It's really confusing. Although they have a strong team, how do they perform? Not in that way. This leads me to believe that coaching is more of a problem. Pochettino's numbers don't give me much hope, and the team's league standings reflect this. Don't you believe they should be much higher, considering Chelsea's budget and talent? To maximize the skill pool, the coaching approach must change - possibly even become a little more inventive. It takes more than simply skill to play football; it takes strategic, astute football. And Chelsea appears to be falling short there right now
I agree that Chelsea's current status is unfortunate. They're underperforming despite having a team many clubs envy. Coaching seems to be the issue. Pochettino's record isnt promising. Its league standing says it all. Chelsea should be striving for greatness given their budget and talent. To maximize their talent, the coaching style needs to change.

However, frequent management changes matter. Chelsea's been through a lot, especially since Boehly abruptly fired Tuchel. Team trust can be shaken by this unpredictability. Growth requires stability, especially for younger players. Chelsea is stuck in a cycle of instability on and off the pitch. Management must give stability and support a coaching method that maximizes athlete potential. Chelsea can only return to the top of football then.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 05, 2024, 01:19:20 PM
Barcelona were very lucky to get 3 points against las Palmas. However, compared to the previous matches, Barcelona players have performed very well in this match. However  Las Palmas players were  confident in the home match. They  were able to attack a lot in this match. Las Palmas got a 1-0 lead in just 12 minutes of the match. Barcelona could not score any goal in the first half. However, Torres scored the first goal for  Barcelona at the beginning of the second half. Gundogan's performance was good throughout the match. After 90 minutes, Gundogan did not score from the penalty opportunity. And Barcelona won the match 2-1.
Xavi Hernandez will not be sacked afterall, Barcelona was lucky enough not to end the game in a draw tie, alot of mistakes was done on Barcelona side, but any how they manage to win the match. However, Las Palmas was the team that messed up big time, a match they were leading with 1-0 have suddenly changed to a draw tie and also they couldn't hold on much longer because Barcelona keep pressing and another goal was netted injury time after Las Palmas player was issued a red card, that weakened the entire squad that was planning for atleast draw tie.
Im glad Xavi won't be fired. The contest was a rollercoaster, right? Barcelona barely beating Las Palmas wasnt pretty. They must improve. Their offense and defense aren't what they used to be. Its worrying. The first half was boring, and Xavi was clearly unhappy. Though they won, it seemed like a loss. Barcelona must improve. They're still a top team, but they must play like it to stay there.

What a lifeline, Gundogan's penalty! Barcelona avoided a humiliating tie with that moment. This win should wake them up. We must stop relying on late saves. Xavi and the team must unite, repair those mistakes, and play Barca again. Its about proving they're still top contenders, not just keeping third place.
1272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 05, 2024, 12:57:08 PM
The Champions league is a league that surprises people of the results.Who knew that a team like Manchester United would not qualify from group stage of the tournament, who also thought that Copenhagen would qualify to the next round when there is Galatasary and Man U in that same group.
Regarding the case of Man United, it's actually not that surprising if we look at how they have performed so far in the EPL. Indeed, last season and the rights were able to bring and make Man United's performance improve quite well, but that is quite different from the conditions this season. Since the start of the season, Man United seems to be facing several problems and in the end this has affected their performance both in the English Premier League and especially in the UCL. Meanwhile, Copenhagen is not a top club like Man United, but they are effective and consistent enough to face group matches quite well. and also don't waste so many opportunities.

The performance of Manchester United last season can't be compared to that of their last season which is true but everyone expected them to have a good season since their coach is well known for transforming teams that are facing some difficulties but in the case of the United team, they became worst in their performance as they failed to win matches both in the UCL and the EPL thereby making things difficult for the team. From their performance so far, if the league should end now, Manchester United is not sure of making the top 4 because they are in a very poor form at the moment.
This season's Manchester United performance disappoints me. They seem to have regressed. With Ten Hag's arrival, everyone expected a magic change. However, we're seeing the opposite. Its not just losing games; its their play. The team's spirit is down, and they cant find their UCL and EPL rhythm.

Recruitment is another concern. Seriously, some decisions are perplexing. Overpriced players who havent performed as expected are a major issue. The club takes two steps back for every stride ahead. Im not optimistic about winter transfers. I dont see how they'll fix this without a huge change.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 05, 2024, 12:40:38 PM
The match has started and has been going on for around 34 minutes. Salernitana made a very good surprise at the start of the match by scoring a goal in the first minute. The Juventus players even seemed very surprised and not ready for this. Luckily they didn't lose confidence and were still on fire. Until finally Juventus were able to equalize to 1 - 1 thanks to a goal from Miretti. If you look at how the game is developing, I think Juventus is indeed superior. And it's possible that Juventus will advance to the next round...
A tremendous surprise from Juventus, despite the fact that no one expected Juventus to overwhelm Sporting Salernitana by 6 goals. I didn't think they'd still beat Juventus after their performance in the first half, when they worked hard to score their first goal with even more confidence. I expected them to win the game, but they embarrassed the fans by giving Juventus chances and winning them, and they did not even lead by two goals, which is really disappointed
I felt the same about Juventus' decisive win. After Salernitana's good start, their second-half comeback was surprising. Juventus appears to be on a quest, possibly to redeem themselves after missing out on the Champions League. Their aggressive play reflects their desire for significant wins like the Coppa Italia. But Salernitana is trying to establish their feet against such good sides. They'll likely lose to Juventus and Napoli. I hope they can develop and avoid relegation.

I expect Juventus to dominate the forthcoming Serie A match. They've crushed Salernitana before, so I doubt it will be different this time. Salernitana fans are discouraged by their team's back-to-back tough matches. However, football is unexpected and cruel.
1274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and the Masses on: January 05, 2024, 12:16:49 PM
If we're being honest, it's gonna be decades before the masses adopt Bitcoin as a mainstream alternative to fiat.

This is going to feel like a slow process to use early adopters. But from history's point of view, let's say by 2050 or 2060 Bitcoin is normalized so by then billions of people own some, high hundreds of millions of people use it for savings and low hundreds of millions of people used it regularly or at least occasionally for spending, that's not very long.

For us, who have perhaps been into Bitcoin for 5-10 years already, another 25-35+ years before Bitcoin is widely adopted seems forever, because we like to think in 4 year market cycles (or even shorter time periods) so that's a lot of growth cycles away from now, and that's a significant part of our lives. But if you think about it historically, say in 150 years the history of Bitcoin would go like this: it started from one person in 2009, and 40-50 years later it had organically grown from one person to billions and became the alternative to banks and national currencies for hundreds of millions of people, saving many of them from weak currencies and weak government monetary policies around the world. Historically Bitcoin being adopted by the masses will be fairly quick, but for us mortals with brief lifetimes it's gonna feel slow because it'll literally take around half our lifetime for Bitcoin to be taken seriously and actually used by the masses and for most of the time leading up to that it is going to be ridiculed and despised by most people simply because they have been educated on it by misinformation from equally misinformed people in the media and on the internet.
As with barter to cash, the move from fiat to Bitcoin is massive and slow. Remember, each technology revolution - from the internet to smartphones - started with skepticism before becoming essential. Bitcoin's trajectory follows suit.

What about scale and impact? Bitcoin represents financial independence to me, not just a currency. We're talking about a new way to transact and a change in money attitudes and use. The ability to offer an alternative to weak currencies and government policies is revolutionary.

The scorn and disinformation phase of any new innovation is necessary. I believe this phase will pass as more people educate themselves and early adopters lead by example. Bitcoin represents a future where financial independence and security are available to anyone, not just the wealthy. Im honored to be part of this significant shift's 150-year legacy as pioneers.
1275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sudden Flash Crash vs Slow Bleed - Which actually kills Investor(s)? on: January 05, 2024, 11:49:52 AM
Happy New Year, too!

This sudden crash versus slow bleed discussion is a crypto classic. My take: worrying about these changes is like attempting to catch every ocean wave. Was it pointless?

Please be honest. Bitcoin is volatile, with abrupt drops and steady draining. Why worry about causes? The Matrixport study, market manipulation, and terror tactics are temporary. Bitcoin is resilient, I think. Consider that it's still standing after the rollercoaster. Bitcoin is a long-term game-changer due to its endurance.

I have a simple strategy. Buy Bitcoin, lock it up, and live. Why worry over minor things? Bitcoin is a long game, not a quick one. It might soar 10000% from its current price! So lets not get caught up in market research. Instead, lets find other things to do. Let time work its magic on our investments. Hodling is a lifestyle, not a plan.
1276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 interesting tips about Bitcoin halving on: January 05, 2024, 11:22:21 AM
Miners' halving preparation. This is a crypto industry strategic shift, not a tactical one. Miners decide the network's future. They must prove their mettle, inventiveness, and dedication during the halving.

Pre-programmed halvings reveal Bitcoin's governance. This is a big change from reactive, subjective financial policy. The protocol-based approach of Bitcoin gives it determinism and impartiality that's rare in monetary systems. Not only code, this is a statement declaring independence from economic manipulation.

Comparing Bitcoin to gold is a modern conception of value. Bitcoin challenges the concept of a "store of value". This is a philosophical as well as technological breakthrough.
1277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One more filed smear campaign against Bitcoin on: January 05, 2024, 10:57:42 AM
The classic Bitcoin smear campaign - isnt it a rite of passage? Every hint of negativity triggers panic selling. Dont be too hard on panic sellers. It takes courage (or naivety?) to see your digital gold disintegrate into dust at the slightest sign of trouble.

Bitcoin is a belief system, not a currency or investment. It has fanatics and skeptics like any religion. The recent ETF mess? Another Bitcoin chapter. The price sank to $40,750, but look at the recovery! Bitcoin seems to like defying doomsayers.

So, to all you sellers going crazy, I have news for you: Bitcoin isnt a passing trend. Stronger storms have hit it. It goes beyond market patterns and ETF approvals. This is a dramatic change in value and transaction perception. Smear campaigns? They're noisy.
1278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We dont own enough bitcoin on: January 05, 2024, 10:32:36 AM
This thinking drives our Bitcoin buying obsession. Consider that when we see something as scarce, we value it more. This goes beyond Bitcoin and is an economic premise. Our brains want what we dont have, in this case Bitcoin.

Gary Cardone's ideas fit this strategy. When it comes to digital assets like Bitcoin, I've always thought it was important to have an attitude of "never-ending accumulation". Its not enough to just stack sats; we need to know what they're really worth and what they can do for us. Bitcoin changes our perspective on value and investing, unlike gold or real estate.

Traditional investment is changing. Bitcoin leads this change. Buying a bitcoin is like joining a digital financial revolution. What matters is being part of something bigger than ourselves, not about having "enough".
1279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 04, 2024, 04:00:38 PM
I like the game of Girona team very much. I placed a bet in support of Girona team. However, the players of Atlético Madrid team did not win the match after they scored 3 goals. If Atlético Madrid team scored 1 more goal, the match would be a draw today. Atlético Madrid tried hard to draw the match.  But the Atlético Madrid team could not do that.
Real Madrid will experience top run for the La Liga title this season, gone are the days we'll be watching Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid and Barcelona fighting for the La Liga title, this season is different and I'm sure that next season, more average team will enter the race. Girona is something else this season, they don't pull back until they've achieved their target. Blanquivermells have not lost a match against elite clubs this season except Real Madrid that won them 3-0 which actually motivated them to become fierce and not giving up.

I've always liked Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atlético Madrid's rivalry, but Girona's rise is refreshing. Except for that 3-0 loss to Real Madrid, their performance versus strong clubs says volumes. They seem to have used that loss to strengthen. I admire how they've handled Atlético Madrid and Barcelona, indicating they're not a fluke. This season may change Spanish football's power dynamics, and its about time.

I believe Girona's success isn't one-season. They've showed consistency and determination that "average" teams lack. They have mental tenacity, especially after the Real Madrid game, that every team trying to beat the heavyweights needs. This type of rivalry is what La Liga needs to be intriguing and surprising. It will be interesting to see if Girona can keep up this pace throughout the season.
1280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: January 04, 2024, 03:30:34 PM
Gambling for long hours could increase the chance of winning and understanding better about gambling. In reality, gamblers won't have the patience, and they don't follow it. All they do is just increase the bet value after a loss. If lucky, the gambler will recover what he lost in his previous wager, if not, his gambling fund gets washed off. To avoid such situations, it is always good to wager with limits on the bet value. This will allow the gambler to have long hours of gambling as well as help to avoid losses. At the end of the day, gambling is more of a luck-based thing, so how long we spend doesn't matter.
Not so sure if someone involved in gambling takes hours to train patience and increase the chances of winning. Gambling is known to have a side of luck and it is not every day that we are lucky enough to gamble, so there is quite a risk of losing when people are involved in gambling for a much longer duration. But I agree with one thing, if we are in a condition of luck then increasing the bet can give us a big win while we are in gambling activities.

On the other hand we also have to think about when to stop because if we are forced to continue, our previous winnings could turn into losing all our previous bets. Time is not a big problem but how can someone be responsible for the gambling activities carried out because if not we will lose much more.
Your point regarding time and risk calculation is important, but gambling's volatility cannot be changed by patient. Understanding odds and having a strategy can reduce risks, but not eliminate them.

Often neglected, knowing when to stop is crucial. It's dangerous to make 'just one more bet' Self-control in gambling includes regulating emotions, expectations, and bets. The trick is to gamble just with what you can afford to lose and to enjoy gambling, not make money.
